The resistivity of liquid CuSn,CuSnBi, CuSnBiIn, CuSnBiInCd alloys of equiatomic compositions are measured using the rotating magnetic field method to obtain information on their liquid structures. The alloys of equiatomic composition we considered as the high-entropy alloys. The results are discussed in the frame of a microheterogeneous structure of a metallic melt. A conclusion is made about the character of the modification of temperature dependence of the resistivity of liquid alloy due this microheterogeneous structure. All the investigated alloys demonstrated the change in the temperature coefficient of the resistivity for heating and cooling. These changes determined the temperature of destruction the microheterogeneous structure of a metallic melt (T*). The value of temperature T* for all alloys was 1070 K (800 °C). The change in the temperature coefficient of the resistivity of the alloys on heating to 1070 K (800 °C) is interpreted using the Nagel-Tauc model.

The paper studies 5d→4f transitions in Sr9RE(PO4)7 (RE = Sc, Lu) doped with Pr3+ under X-ray and ultraviolet (UV) excitation at various temperatures and with different Pr3+ ions content. In objects with Sc, 5d → 4f emission is negligible compared to 4f → 4f emission. When Sc is substituted with Lu, 5d → 4f transition emission yield is immense under excitation in both energy ranges, while emission related to 4f → 4f transitions is weak, especially under UV excitation. X-ray luminescence yield strongly depends on temperature; the effect is stronger for objects with Lu. Luminescence decay kinetics measured for Sr9Sc(PO4)7:Pr3+ have a fast (τ∼15 ns) component. Novel Pr3+-doped phosphors may be used as a promising material for fast efficient converters of ionizing radiation. The paper studies 5d→4f transitions in Sr9RE(PO4)7 (RE = Sc, Lu) doped with Pr3+ under X-ray and ultraviolet (UV) excitation at various temperatures and with different Pr3+ ions content. A theory of the scattering of attosecond pulses of an electromagnetic field on graphene is developed, taking into account defects. The obtained equations are simple enough for analysis and can be used for spectroscopic studies and graphene flaw detection.

Various methods of radon (222Rn) elimination from drinking water are compared. All experiments were performed using natural underground water containing nearly 100 Bq/L of radon. Air bubbling, heating and settling were tested as physical methods, whereas adsorption on various types of activated carbons were tested as physicochemical methods. It was shown that air bubbling was the most effective methods among the physical ones: it provided 99 % of Rn elimination in 2 h and 95 % elimination in 1 h. Adsorption of radon by Carbotech activated carbon resulted in more than 90 % elimination of radon; additional elimination of short-lived decay products and prevention of radon transfer to air were significant advantages of the physicochemical methods.Various methods of radon (222Rn) elimination from drinking water are compared. The aim of this work is to investigate the spectral properties of the stony and stony-iron meteorites after shock-wave loading experiments, and after annealing. This kind of treatments provides the material which is analogous to the space-weathered materials. Investigation of the spectral properties on such materials allows understanding of the external structure and mineral composition of atmosphereless bodies by means of spectral properties. It was shown that the spectral properties of the meteorites clearly depend on treatment.
