Comparative Analysis of Several Methods for Calculating the Directional Characteristics of Radiating Systems Using an Electric Dipole as an Example 以电偶极子为例,几种辐射系统定向特性计算方法的比较分析

The results of calculating the directional characteristics of a vertical electric dipole are presented. In the process of calculation, the method of mirror images was used, as well as an analytical expression that strictly describes the directional characteristics of a vertical electric dipole. It was revealed that the results obtained differ little from each other. It is shown that the directional properties of small-sized radiating systems can be estimated using simplified methods with a slight increase in error.

Estimation of the Influence of Additive and Multiplicative Noise with Low Level on the Accuracy of Measurement of Signal Information Parameter 低电平加性和乘性噪声对信号信息参数测量精度影响的估计

The analysis of the influence of fluctuation stationary multiplicative (modulating) noise acting simultaneously with additive noise on the measurement accuracy of non-energy parameters of information signals is carried out. The term “low” level of noise with the combined effects of multiplicative and additive noise is clarified. It is shown that mathematical characteristics, bias, measurement errors and error dispersion can be used as characteristics of the accuracy of measuring signal parameters at a low level of noise. The structure of the optimal receiving device for measuring one information parameter with a random initial phase against the background of additive noise is obtained. An expression is obtained for the envelope of the signal at the output of the linear part of the optimal meter according to the desired information parameter. It is shown that at a low level of multiplicative and additive noise, the estimate of one parameter of the useful signal is unbiased, and its dispersion is the sum of two terms, the first takes into account the influence of additive noise, the second is multiplicative noise. Expressions are obtained for the variance of the estimation of the information parameter under the simultaneous effect of additive and multiplicative noise. The above expressions show that the variance of errors due to the presence of multiplicative noise significantly depends on the spectral characteristics of the noise modulation function. It is noted that slow multiplicative noise is the most dangerous.

Design Features of Creating Security Systems Projects for Civil Engineering Objects 土木工程对象创建安全系统项目的设计特点

The authors developed a theoretical base and proposed a methodology for designing security and safety systems for civil engineering facilities. Improving the design efficiency was achieved by optimizing the topology of placement of security and safety equipment in the premises of the facility. The methodology for optimizing topology is based on the use of causal relationships between destabilizing physical factors and types of sensors according to the physical principle of action. The proposed model, as a destabilizing factor, considers physical processes that related to certain types of objects and building structures of such objects (noise, vibration, humidity, temperature, etc.). Destabilizing factors intensity was characterized by an absolute value correlated with the reliability of the security sensors and the probability of forming an “alarm” notification under the influence of factors. The authors carried out calculations to optimize the topology of the placement of security detectors at two typical facilities, with four destabilizing factors in eight rooms at each facility. The obtained results were compared with three typical versions of security alarm equipment projects. As a result, for optimized project options, the generalized indicator was the highest for optimizing the placement of sensors. The results of the test calculations coincided with the choosing of the project of ten independent experts. The optimization concept presented in the article can be implemented as a software product for the new civil engineering facilities design.

The Wavelet Filtration Denoising in the Raman Distributed Temperature Sensing 小波滤波在拉曼分布温度传感中的降噪研究

Up to now a Distributed optical fiber Temperature Sensor (DTS) based on the Raman scattering exhibits a relatively low characteristic causes sharp temperature changes to be improved. Modeling metrological characteristics has a long history but essential progress did not achieved. This paper presents a novel technique of the extremal filtration developed to improve the DTS temperature and partially spatial resolution. The algorithm is based on wavelet transformation of backscattered anti-Stokes and Stokes signals and deconvolution on high-frequency components with total regularization of variations. Experimental results correctly agree with real modeling values with denoising ones. The advantage is the ability to reconstruct temperature with 0.01 degree accuracy at fixed spatial resolution. We present a lot of simulations and figures demonstrated the efficacy of the proposed technique.

Finding a Rational Set of Features for Handwritten Signature Recognition 寻找手写签名识别的合理特征集

In this paper we proposed the approach for dynamic handwritten signatures recognition. We proposed a formal model of the handwritten signature, containing fuzzy features of curvature of discrete handwritten signature functions. We proposed handwritten signature reference template creation algorithm, characterized by the use of the potential method for constructing membership functions of fuzzy features. The choice of a rational set of features has been implemented, which allows to minimize the false accept rate (up to 0.05%), as well as a rational set that minimizes the equal error rate (up to 0.36%), which significantly exceeds the efficiency of existing handwritten signature recognition algorithms.

Optimization of Duration of Ultrashort Pulse Exciting the Spacecraft Power Supply Bus 航天器电源母线超短脉冲激励时间优化

The paper presents the circuit diagram and the parameters of the cross-section for the model of the power supply (PS) bus of a spacecraft. The optimization of the duration of an ultrashort pulse (USP) exiting the PS bus was made by genetic algorithm (GA) for minimizing the voltage maximum along the PS bus. The GA optimization was run 10 times with every set of chromosomes and populations. The graphs of results convergence are presented for every set of GA parameters. The results of these investigations may be useful for estimating the worst case of USP excitation.

Connectors and lines de-embedding techniques for PCB microwave components S-parameters measurements up to 50 are considered. Comparison between widely used Multiline Thru-Reflect-Line (MTRL) method and promising 2xThru method are presented. This paper has demonstrated that both methods give same results, however, 2xThru method requires just one measured structure as opposite MTRL, where six measured structures are used. The difference between obtained and measured parameters of device under test are less than 0.35 dB in magnitude and 1.5° in phase for insertion loss, and less than 0.08 in magnitude and 10° in phase for return loss at most frequency points.

Digital Radar Imaging by Nonlinear Filtering Methods of Discrete and Continuous Parameters (Amplitude and Delay) of Reflected PM Signals 反射PM信号的离散和连续参数(振幅和延迟)非线性滤波方法的数字雷达成像

The article discusses a method for getting high-resolution radar images (RI) based on a side looking airborn radar (SLAR), which consists of a set of single independent single-beam small-sized radar stations (SRS) and a synthetic-aperture radar (SAR) used for transmission and reception in any given polarization on board of the aircraft (AP). Probing signals are binary PM signals of one cluster L formed on binary sequences of the maximum linear recurrent period (MLRP) equal to L = 2m − 1 (m ≥ 2). The emission of probing PM signals and the coordinated reception of the reflected PM signals can be carried out simultaneously by all SRS. Each SRS has its own PM signal from the L cluster. Based on the representation of binary MLRP by a complex Markov circuit with two states and taking into account the same type of SRS, it is possible to synthesize a receiving device with an L-channel recurrence matched filter (RMF) common to all SRSwith the radar included in the MRLP for simultaneous reception of several or the entire cluster L reflected PM signals of the same azimuth in all beams of SAR by range.A characteristic feature of the RMF is the absence of side lobes at the RMF outputs of the autocorrelation functions of the received reflected PM signals of each beam. It allows to get simultaneous joint nonlinear filtering of the discrete parameter (phase) and continuous parameters (amplitude and delay) of the reflected PM signals that provide to obtain a higher evaluation of a discrete parameter and, accordingly, high-resolution radar images. The result of the reflected PM signals of each beam is recorded in the memory unit, where SLAR is formed. To assess the effectiveness of the proposed method, the authors carried out computer modeling of the formation of the radar image of an artificial pattern with various objects under the influence of Gaussian fluctuations in the amplitude and delay of the reflected PM signals relative to the time of their radiation. The simulation results demonstrate getting high-resolution radar images in resolution range and azimuth in real time.

Research of Instantaneous Frequency Measurement Receiver 瞬时测频接收机的研究

This paper describes a two-channel IFM receiver with two delay lines. The method of mathematical modeling investigated the dependence of the standard deviation due to the delay time and the probability of error in determining the uncertainty band due to the delay time with various SNR and low-pass filter bandwidth. The resulted dependencies may help to develop IFM receivers and get delay requirements.
