Partial flexible job shop scheduling considering preventive maintenance and priorities 考虑预防性维护和优先级的部分柔性作业车间调度

In this paper, a new mathematical programming model is proposed for a partial flexible job shop scheduling problem with an integrated solution approach. The purpose of this model is the assignment of production operations to machines with the goal of simultaneously minimizing operating costs and penalties. These penalties include delayed delivery, deviation from a fixed time point for preventive maintenance, and deviation from the priorities of each machine. Considering the priorities for machines in partial flexible job shop scheduling problems can be a contribution in closer to the reality of production systems. For validation and evaluation of the effectiveness of the model, several numerical examples are solved by using the Baron solver in GAMS. Sensitivity analysis is performed for the model parameters. The results further indicate the relationship between scheduling according to priorities of each machine and production scheduling.

Protocolo: revisión sistemática de literatura sobre B-Corp 方案:对互益性企业文献的系统回顾

The B Corp movement is becoming increasingly important nationally and internationally. In fact, the number of certified companies has radically increased (34,78%) from 2017 (2300 B-Corp companies) to 2019 (3100 B-Corp companies). Taking this fact into consideration, the aim of this study is to present a research protocol for conducting a systematic review of literature on B Corp companies. First, the inclusion and exclusion criteria applied that allow reaching the final sample of 45 articles are specified. The codes that will be used in the analysis phase are also made explicit.

Use patterns of educational videos: a quantitative study among university students 大学生教育视频使用模式的定量研究

This paper analyzes the perception, on the part of Grade students, of the availability of videos complementary to classroom teaching, as well as the moment of visualization of the same, with the aim of identifying their use pattern and perceived usefulness, an initial step towards future flip-teaching interventions. The analysis has been carried out in three groups, one of the Business Administration degree, and two of the double degree of Business Administration and Law, during the academic year 2018-19, in a quantitative subject (Quantitative Models), the content of which is necessary for subsequent subjects, including Operations Management, in the third year of the grade. The use pattern of the videos, which received a total of 7281 views, was analysed using the Box-Jenkins methodology, adjusting an ARIMA model and identifying the atypical values in the series. The results indcate that the students perceive these videos as useful, although more as a tool to help in the preparation of exams than as an instrument to review the contents. All authors have participated in the idea, study design, collection and/or analysis and interpretation of the data, in the draft of the paper and in the critical review of their intellectual content.

Protocol: What does the wage structure depend on? Evidence from the INE salary national survey (pilot study with 2006 data) 协议:工资结构取决于什么?来自全国薪酬调查的证据(2006年数据的试点研究)

In previously published research, a great difference is observed concerning salary components that are used in different national contexts. In the present study, we will focus on the Spanish case by using data taken from the salary structure survey (ESS) conducted by the INE (Spanish National Statistical Organization). This protocol raises several research questions. Our main objective is to find out the incidence and degree of use of extrinsic motivation programs in the Spanish labour context. For that purpose, we propose a methodology to analyse the ESS, as well as to find out whether any research has been carried out in this regard. 2006’s pilot analysis is being presented in this moment in order to illustrate step by step the method of analysis.Our results show that both degree of use and intensity of the economic remuneration programs related to extrinsic motivation are low (e.g. in monthly payments, the most frequent component is fixed income supplements not related to shifts, which represent 75% of people from ESS2006. Then, we find variable supplements (29%) and fixed supplements related to shifts (15%). Regarding intensity, basic monthly salaries dominate by far as the major part of a salary (73%) while variable extraordinary payments (1.8%), supplements related to shifts (1%), extra hours (<1%) and payment in kind (<1 per thousand) represent a marginal amount of the total salary paid). On the other hand, our results also indicate the existence of several factors that may influence the presence of variable complements (sectoral differences, market scope, organization size, educational level or labour agreement).As additional contribution to our work, the present study allows us to know whether the sample collected by academic research is representative or not, since the incidence and extend of use of the economic participation programme should lead to similar results to those provided by the INE. On the other hand, we can identify those adjustment variables that influence in the salary distribution composition. All work done so far allows us to confirm that the research hypotheses are, at least, relevant because they have not been answered up in the literature published to date.

Protocol: How to deal with Partial Least Squares (PLS) research in Operations Management. A guide for sending papers to academic journals 协议:如何处理操作管理中的偏最小二乘问题的研究。向学术期刊投稿指南

This work protocol form part of a three-phase publication (Marin-Garcia, 2019). Its objective is to establish a work procedure to answer these questions: 1) in which journals have articles about Operations Management with Partial Least Squares (PLS) been published?; 2) Do the results of previous reviews on this topic still prevail based on the very limited set of journals that it have been conducted (and before substantial modifications were made to report methods of PLS-based studies)?; 3) Do recent articles fulfil report recommendations; 4) What kind of measurement model has been considered for the constructs most frequently used in the selected articles?; 5) What are the usual R2 values in the cross-sectional studies represented in the selected articles?; 6) Within what statistical power range do the relations analysed with PLS fall?The article summarises current recommendations to select the analysis procedures and to report the research works that have used structural equations with PLS. We believe that this is an excellent contribution for researchers because it helps to improve the analyses and reports that derive from using PLS to, thus, increase the probabilities of them being accepted in relevant journals.Another contribution made by the present work, apart from establishing the aforementioned protocol, is to provide a list of the recent articles about operations management that have used PLS and the coding procedure to conduct our systematic review (to be subsequently published).

Throughout the literature, there are several studies that highlight the importance of interaction in the classroom as a means to promote student learning. Based on this idea, and due to the absence of previous studies that do it, the objective of this work is to propose a questionnaire that allows to measure the level of interaction in university classrooms, as well as to identify the best interactive practices, from a triple perspective: observed teacher, external observer and student. This work is part of a teaching innovation project carried out by a multidisciplinary group of lecturers from the University of Cantabria. In this study, in addition to presenting the aforementioned questionnaire proposal, the research process for the collection of data and the analysis of results will be described. It is considered that the main contribution of this work is the proposal of an instrument for measuring interaction.

This paper presents a protocol through which it is intended to know the perception that students of a University Degree have of a specific subject. Once this perception is known, decisions can be made and actions taken to improve the teaching-learning process. Although the protocol is presented focused on a public higher education organization, and a specific degree and subject, this protocol can be applicable without requiring too many adaptations, to any subject and degree.

Continuous improvement is a concept that has been widely studied from multiple perspectives during the last decades. However, new studies on the topic appear because it seems that there are still questions to be resolved. Therefore, the key question is what future research lines should be developed. As such, the possibility of carrying out a systematic review of literature was raised. However, given the high number of systematic reviews published in recent years, the final objective of this paper is to perform a meta-review of the concept of continuous improvement. Therefore, this study presents the research protocol followed to perform a meta-review of the concept of continuous improvement; being the main objective of the meta-review to know the state of this field of study and to find out where future research should be oriented.

The aim of this project is to analyze and classify in subareas the journals of the D15 field of ANECA which are in JCR and Scopus simultaneously. This classification will be performed identifying and defining the set of management subareas applying the classification of several sources. Subsequently, the journals will be searched in JCR and Scopus and an unified list will be created. The resulting list will be classified analyzing the content of the web page information and if required, analyzing the topic of the last two articles of published. Finally, the classification obtained will be compared with the one offered by JCR and Scopus.

Development and validation of Spanish version of FINCODA: an instrument for self-assessment of innovation competence of workers or candidates for Jobs 西班牙语版FINCODA的开发与验证:工人或职位候选人创新能力自我评估工具

This work will take the innovation transversal competence a skill to create, introduce, adapt and/or apply a beneficial novelty anywhere in an organization. We consider that innovation competences are a multidimensional construct that represents the skills required in all main process steps, from devising ideas, filtering, modeling and selecting them, to putting them into practice and comparing to see if they add value.In this research we aim to validate the long Spanish version (62 items) of the FINCODA innovation questionnaire (Andreu Andres et al., 2018; Marin-Garcia et al., 2016a) and to check if the medium-length version composition (34 items), that derive from a multi-cultural sample (Butter & van Beest, 2017), is stable with an independent sample of Spanish students. We will also propose a short version from the Soft Skills Scale (SSS17) (Marin-Garcia, 2019), based on single-items of all dimensions, which we will compare with other transversal competences by analyzing the relations among them. Data were obtained from self-perceptions (the evaluated person completes the questionnaire) with Likert/rating scales (Marin-Garcia et al., 2015) of innovation competence dimensions. This questionnaire is devised to be used for processes that select/evaluate the people who opt for a job post, regardless of them recently obtaining university degrees or being professionals.We examined the main published questionnaires used to measure the innovation competence. The validation of only a few has been published, while no validation has been published in Spanish. We also describe in detail the validation process that we will follow, the employed measuring instrument (by giving a detailed explanation of how the FINCODA questionnaire was built, and by specifying the measuring model and SSS17, F62 and F34 questionnaire items in their English and Spanish versions), the characteristics of the sample of 329 voluntary students, and the analysis procedure following SPSS and smartPLS.The results show how the measurement model of the long FINCODA questionnaire version presents content validity (relevance and comprehensiveness) and internal consistency (with analysis considering constructs to be either common factors or composites). Nonetheless, the discriminant validity of the constructs could not be demonstrated with the employed sample. Our analyses did not confirm the medium-length version put forward by other authors’ previous research. So, we will consider that versions F62 and F34 are pending to be analyzed with new independent samples, as is the proposal of the new F34 version obtained by more robust methods. The multidimensionality assumption of the innovation construct also needs revising. Having a short innovation scale with 10-15 items at the most is also recommendable. All this is considered future research in the present work.
