Perfil sistémico-funcional del grupo nominal en español: estructura, funciones discursivas básicas y organización sistémica 西班牙语名词组的系统功能概况:结构、基本话语功能和系统组织

This paper proposes a text-based systemic-functional account of the Spanish nominal group. Firstly, approaching the Spanish nominal group ‘from above’ (i.e. taking the contextual variables of field and mode as a starting point), two key discourse semantic systems are introduced – ideation and identification. The paper then describes the structural resources that contribute to the realisation of choices in ideation in lexicogrammar – including the Thing, the Classifier and the Epithet functions. It then moves on to the Deictic and the Qualifier functions, which realise choices in identification. Based on the structural configurations described, including the classes of units realising them along the rank scale, the paper proposes a systemic profile of the Spanish nominal group, canvassing the various choices in play. Finally, the paper reviews the implications of the approach proposed for functionally-oriented descriptive and applied research.

In Dialectology, Geographical Linguistics and Sociolinguistics, phonetic transcription is often used to illustrate the speech analyzed in monographs, linguistic atlases and variation studies. This paper studies six such works dealing with El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panamá, published between 1960 and 2006. It describes the work in which each phonetic text is included (with a sample of the transcription), its theoretical framework and the system of phonetic notation employed by each author.

This article aims to study the literary relationship between time and space as a narrative construction of discursive conscience. To that end, three novels have been analysed: Fractura by Andres Neuman (2018), El rey recibe by Eduardo Mendoza, and Ventanas de Manhattan, by Munoz Molina (2004). Embracing the concept of figuration, two main textual axis have been established, namely, the alienation of foreign view, and the fabulation of memory. Through those focuses the power of spatial resemantization is explained based on two essential dialectics (inside/out and presence/absence) that cross these three oeuvres. In doing so, the semiotic approach to spatiality has evidence how the formalist deautomatization and dialogism, together with postmodern reification have a meaningful impact on the structural and hermeneutics characteristics that create the personal discourses of three reminiscent selves.

Recent works from three Mapuche artists are analyzed in the article: the collection of poems Rio herido by Daniela Catrileo, the performance Warriache by Camila Huenchumil, and the albums Trafun and Wanglen by Daniela Millaleo. I propose reading these productions as decolonizing recados that represents the consequences of the uprooting and forced exile from Wallmapu to the urban periphery, set against the backdrop of post-dictatorial Chile. The three artists reconstruct their place of belonging in the city as Mapuche women in resistance from different viewpoints and through different artistic formats, thus creating chi’xi (Rivera) discourses that place tension on the question surrounding indigenous identity.

“Marcha nocturna”, un poema de Gabriela Mistral publicado en La Nación de Buenos Aires (1942)

Analysis of manuscripts and edition of the poem “Night March” by Gabriela Mistral, starting from the concept of “units of composition” proposed by Jean Bellemin Noel in the framework of genetic criticism. The article tests a relationship between the original structure of the poem in quatrains constructed with binaries and the call for Latin American union, represented by the friendship between Jose de San Martin and Bernardo O’Higgins. In the same way, the letters between Mistral and Eduardo Mallea, director of the “Arts and Letters” supplement of the La Nacion of Buenos Aires, where Mistral published “Night March”, and Martha Salotti, her intermediary with the Argentine newspaper are studied with the aim of contextualizing the collaboration between the Chilean poet and this publisher.

This article proposes a look at poetry as a linguistic-discursive practice of indocility whose critical effect occurs in language and, consequently, in the structures of meaning and the structure of feeling that the human being builds on his living. Presenting poetic creation as criticism is here more a pretext than a thesis; a pretext from which an approach to poetry is developed, focused on insisting on its emancipatory value at moment when poetry deals with human subjectivity.
