Systemic lupus erythematosus: rarer in men than women but more severe 系统性红斑狼疮:男性比女性少见,但更严重
IF 0.4 Pub Date : 2022-09-01 DOI: 10.1002/tre.876

Although systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is rarer in men than women, it is more severe. The clinical presentation of SLE is variable and there are sex differences. Given the relative rarity of SLE in men, clinicians should have a low threshold for investigation to avoid delayed diagnosis.

How much do second opinions improve men's health? 第二意见在多大程度上改善了男性的健康?
IF 0.4 Pub Date : 2022-09-01 DOI: 10.1002/tre.874
C. Woodhouse
The value of second opinions in medicine is debatable. There are few data on the topic, but it seems that in most cases there is no benefit in terms of outcomes, with some notable exceptions. Improving communication may be a more fruitful area to explore, as most requests for a second opinion appear to result from poor doctor/patient communication.
