In this paper, we compare two definitions of mean value and dispersion for intuitionistic fuzzy events. We show the connection between these two definitions and we introduce some types of mean values induced by intuitionistic fuzzy state and by intuitionistic fuzzy probability.

In the paper, we consider a stochastic gradient descent algorithm in combination with a dropout method. We used the theory of intuitionistic fuzzy sets for the assessment of the equivalence of the respective assessment units. We also consider a degree of uncertainty when the information is not enough.

Paving is a method for constructing new operations from a given one. Kalina and Kral in 2015 showed that on the real unit interval this method can be used to construct associative, commutative and monotone operations from particular given operations (from basic ‘paving stones’). In the present paper we modify the construction method for interval-valued fuzzy sets. From given (possibly representable) t-norms and t-conorms we construct new, non-representable operations. In the last section, we modify the presented construction method for interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets.

The paper yields some new conjectures of intuitionistic lattice fuzzy ''T''1 spaces underlying to the concepts of intuitionistic fuzzy topological spaces. These conjectures convey some appreciable and intriguing properties as “Good extension” and “Hereditary” properties. Despite these, all suppositions sustain under one-one, onto, and continuous mapping.

The aim of this paper is to formulate the conditional intuitionistic fuzzy probability and a version of martingale convergence theorem with respect an intuitionistic fuzzy probability. Since the intuitionistic fuzzy probability can be decomposed to two intuitionistic fuzzy states, we can use the results holding for intuitionistic fuzzy states.

In this paper, the problem of classification of images is discussed. Our specific problem is that we need to classify tire images into selected classes. The classes are characterized by some patterns. In the first step images are represented as the vectors. Then the membership and non-membership value to each coordinate of the vector is calculated and the theory of intuitionistic fuzzy sets is used. In [7] the classification of images was performed with respect to the valued of so called Sim function, which was defined as a ratio of distance between pattern data and image data and distance between pattern data and the complement of image data. The complement of image data was obtained by using specific intuitionistic fuzzy negation. In [2] a list of 53 intuitionistic fuzzy negations was presented. We have decided to use some of these negations to improve the results of classification.

: The concepts of Generalized Nets (GNs) and Intuitionistic Fuzzy Pairs (IFPs) are described and some of their basic properties are given. GNs are one of the extensions of Petri nets, which include as particular cases all other Petri net modifications. IFPs are the evaluations of elements of a given universe about some intuitionistic fuzzy set. Three GN models using IFPs of a concrete flexible manufacturing system are used for an example of the possibility of the GNs, working with IFPs as evaluations, to describe the functioning and the results of the work of adaptive systems.
