Manggihan village, Getasan sub-district, Semarang district, Central Java province, which is one of the areas in Central Java, especially in Semarang district, is an area that is in the red zone related to the spread of Covid-19 in Indonesia. The existence of the Jogo Tonggo group, which is the mainstay project of the Central Java provincial government, needs to get support from all components of society. This fact encourages the importance of empowering the community to be able to independently help themselves in relation to prevention and handling of the increasingly endemic cases of Covid-19 transmission. Capacity building is an important thing that drives the success of the Movement to break the chain of transmission of Covid-19 through tracking or self-isolation management. The purpose of this activity is to improve the ability of tracking and independent isolation in Manggihan Village, Getasan District, Semarang Regency through the empowerment of the Jogo Tonggo group. The method of implementing activities is a group-based method that is carried out comprehensively which is able to take an inventory of all aspects of HR or human resources through IEC, namely Communication, Information and Education.

The government has started to require limited face-to-face learning starting in July 2021. Until now, cases of Covid-19 transmission are still being reported. Primaganda High School, Jombang is one of the high schools in Jombang within the Pondok Pesantren environment with moderate exposure to Covid-19 transmission. The risk of transmission during face-to-face learning will be quite high, so there is a need for an integrated management of COVID-19 handling based on proper human resource empowerment. The purpose of community service is to increase empowerment through training. The integrated training was provided for 2 months involving 46 students (referred to as “Genera-Z Tangguh”) as initial movers. Empowerment focuses on preventing the transmission of Covid-19 (education and application of health protocols), and 4T (tracing, texting, testing, treatment) by utilizing digital applications. Activity results include, 1) An increase in the knowledge of Tangguh Genera-Z members about the application of health protocols in schools with an average score of 90 (pre-test mean 30), 2) An increase in knowledge of Tangguh Genera-Z members about 4T cases of Covid-19 with an average post-test score of 70 (pre-test mean 30), 3) The establishment of an integrated Covid-19 handling system related to reporting management and handling of related parties at Primaganda High School Jombang. It can be concluded that this activity is one of the important student social activities and needs to be an example for its application in other schools, to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in the school environment.

Impaired growth is still a problem that needs attention in Indonesia. There are still many incidents of children with short stature due to lack of nutrition, undernourished toddlers, and even malnutrition. Therefore, the detection of child growth still needs to be improved. The Covid-19 pandemic has made parents of patients afraid and anxious to take their children to health facilities, so that monitoring of their growth is neglected, especially in pediatric patients with chronic diseases. This community service activity is intended to provide training to parents of patients on how to measure anthropometric status in pediatric patients with chronic diseases so that parents are expected to be able to screen or detect growth disorders early and independently. Therefore, education and training are held with the aim of increasing the knowledge and skills of parents in examining the anthropometric status of children. Evaluation is done by asking questions and practicing anthropometric status checks at the beginning and end of the activity and good numbers of material uptake by participants are obtained so that participants can independently assess the child's anthropometric status and get an increase in skills. The knowledge of the patient's parents about awareness of growth and development screening is still lacking so that it can affect the detection of developmental disorders in children. With this activity, it can provide the ability of the patient's parents to equip themselves to monitor the growth of their child.

The Preceptorship method facilitates students to develop their cognitive, affective, and psychomotor abilities. Through Preceptorship, clinical instructors/preceptors become role models as tutors, leaders, supervisors, and mentors for students. Furthermore, nursing staff who meet the qualifications of a preceptor need Preceptorship training. The Pasuruan District Hospital is one of the network hospitals where nursing students practice the nursing profession, and there are only a few preceptors have attended Preceptorship training. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct Preceptorship training for preceptors. This activity aims to achieve preceptor competence with the Preceptorship method. The respondents were health care staff from Bangil Hospital, such as nurses, midwives, nutritionists, radiographers, medical recorders clerks, and physical therapists. The activity included training for three days from 19-21 November 2019 by providing material, demonstrating, and simulating the Preceptorship method in several rooms at Bangil Hospital. The data collection to measure the level of knowledge used pre-test and post-test questionnaires, while for skills using observation in the implementation of simulations directly to students in the hospital room. Forty-seven respondents participating in this training were male (32%) and female (68%). The results of the level of knowledge were pre-test mean 47.74 and post-test 88.85 with p-value paired t-test results 0.001. Observation results show that the preceptor can practice the Preceptorship method well with students. In conclusion, this training activity increases the knowledge and skills of Preceptorship clinical education methods for preceptors.

Limitations in conducting online learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic become the background for researchers to create an online version of a pop-up educational storybook that spoke about dental and oral health information. The target of this research is children aged 6-8 years because it is the right age to train motor skills, observe and discover new things and the parents of these children as companions in the development of knowledge and behaviour in maintaining oral health. Therefore, it is very important to provide dental and oral health education as well as familiarize children with brushing teeth at the right time in the right way and to educate parents so that they can guide children regarding behaviour in maintaining dental and oral health. Objective: To increase literacy interest in children from an early age, combining digital technology with conventional books to increase children's and parents' knowledge about dental and oral health as measured through pre-test and post-test questionnaires. Methods: The research used a pre-experimental research method in the form of a one group pre-test-post-test experiment. The sample was selected by the total technique sampling. The independent variable studied was dental and oral health counseling using the Voiced Dumbo Pop Up Box, while the dependent variable in this study was the knowledge of children and parents about oral health as measured by pre-test and post-test questionnaires. Results: Based on the results of the paired T test as a whole, the p value = 0.035 which stated that there was a difference in the total pre and total scores of the post test. Question accuracy which assesses the percentage of pre-test and post-test of children aged 6-8 shows that 98% of the 30 students have answered the post-test accurately and increased (pre-test 86%). Conclusion: The voice of Dumbo's Pop-up Box counseling media is able to significantly increase the knowledge of dental and oral health in students aged 6-8 years at SDN Sukun 3, Malang City.

Methods: The research used a pre-experimental research method in the form of a one group pre-test-post-test experiment. The sample was selected by the total technique sampling. The independent variable studied was dental and oral health counseling using the Voiced Dumbo Pop Up Box, while the dependent variable in this study was the knowledge of children and parents about oral health as measured by pre-test and post-test questionnaires. Results: Based on the results of the paired T test as a whole, the p value = 0.035 which stated that there was a difference in the total pre and total scores of the post test. Question accuracy which assesses the percentage of pre-test and post-test of children aged 6-8 shows that 98% of the 30 students have answered the post-test accurately and increased (pre-test 86%). Conclusion: The voice of Dumbo's Pop-up Box counseling media is able to significantly increase the knowledge of dental and oral health in students aged 6-8 years at SDN Sukun 3, Malang City.","PeriodicalId":433755,"journal":{"name":"Caring Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat","volume":"74 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134600244","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Good quality children are closely related to optimal growth and development, especially in the three first years of life (toddler). The Covid-19 pandemic condition affects the level of parental visits to health facilities, thereby reducing the frequency of monitoring of child development by health workers. This condition increases the risk of delaying the discovery of a child's developmental disorder. The porpose of our community service activity is carried out to increase parental participation in screening and stimulating child development independently. The activity was carried out at the Delima Posyandu (Pos Pelayanan Terpadu) in the Puskesmas Gribig, area of Malang City in October 2021. The children involved in this activity were 12-36 months old, accompanied by parents or primary caregivers, and in healthy condition. Children suffering from acute illnesses such as fever, cough, diarrhea were not included in this activity. The activities consist of screening children's development with the Developmental Pre-Screening Questionnaire (KPSP) instrument and providing education with booklet media to parents on how to screen and stimulate development independently. Education was conducted on 24 parents individually and the results of developmental examinations showed that the majority of children had normal development or appropriate with their age, but more than a third of children had a doubt and delayed development. These results need to be a concern for health workers and “kader” to monitor the development of children in the area, especially those who have been detected had a doubt and delayed development.
