The secretary has various activities to assist the leader. One of the tasks of the secretary is to manage the leader’s schedule of activities. In the current era of information and communication technology, secretary must has competence in managing the leader’s schedule of activities with the Google Calendar (GC) application. This study aims to find out and describe the competence of the secretary to manage the leader’s schedule of activities with the GC applications at the Faculty of Dentistry, Gadjah Mada University. The secretary of the Faculty of Dentistry UGM leader has the competence to manage the leader’s schedule of activities with the GC application including knowledge of management practices, skills in using technology and information devices, self-development abilities, personality in communication skills and in attitudes and behavior.

Digital media is utilized by educational institutions in supporting the process of delivering information to make it faster, easier, and more Accurate. One of the digital information media provided by the D3 Business Administration Study Program, Faculty of Vocational Studies, Universitas Brawijaya in supporting the delivery of information is Linktree. With the Linktree information media, it is easier for students to get more detailed information. Globalization that is developing at the speed of light forces secretaries to improve their quality in terms of both hard and soft skills. English skills are an undeniable need in various fields of business. This study aims to see the role of English skills in the efficiency of completing secretarial assignments at the Indonesian Coal Mining Association (APBI-ICMA). The research method used is field observation and this research is descriptive qualitative research because the influencing variables are unable to be tightly controlled. The researcher became practitioners when carrying out Industrial Work Practices (Prakerin) at APBI-ICMA. The results of the study show that English writing skills are the skills that play the most role in completing the duties of a researcher's secretary at APBI-ICMA

Correspondence is an essential activity in every institution. This study aims to analyze the needs of educational staffs at Widya Mandala Surabaya Catholic University (UKWMS) in carrying out correspondence tasks. The research used a quantitative approach with an analytical descriptive method. Data shows that educational staff mostly was not a graduated from administration study and has never received correspondence training. Problems in correspondence that occur in UKWMS mostly occur in the scope of submitting letters, then making letters, and thirdly sending letters. This condition is recognized by education personnel so that most respondents (81.8%) agree that correspondence training is needed for education staff. UKWMS not yet have a standard for letter management. Most respondents (86.3%) agree that letter management guidelines are needed to support their task for drafting letters. As conclution, the educational staffs at UKWMS needs correspondence training and letter management procedures to implement correspondence tasks.

Factors Affecting the Teachers’ Performance at Yayasan Marsudirini Semarang. The study aims to find out how much factors affecting the performance of the teachers at Yayasan Marsudirini in Semarang. Data was collected through observation, and as many as 101 teacher questionnaires were used to assess pedagogic, professional and personality competencies of the teachers Data was analyzed using descriptive qualitative with percentage technique. The results showed that the factors influencing the performance of the teachers of Yayasan Marsudirini Semarang in this study were the principal's managerial and teachers’ loyalty. The results of this study are 1) the principal’s managerial supports institutional activities in which more than 50% of teachers with the principal’s activities "always" support the institution starting from planning, creating vision and mission guided by evaluation, coordinating in decision making, regularly holding meetings for teacher councils, supervising teachers and employees, improving teacher performance, improving the quality of education, motivating teachers in the learning process, communicating with teachers and employees in overcoming problems, and naturally social in giving services. 2) teachers’ loyalty in learning includes: cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects in accordance with the supervision of the principal, the results obtained are more than 50% of teacher activities marked "always" which means that teacher carries out obligations in accordance with applicable rules in schools and foundations (yayasan), they obey the teacher's code of ethics, discipline, and being faithful in providing services, and to give guidance to students in the study and development of the student personality.
