Oral Submucous Fibrosis is on a steady rise due to excessive use of betel nut chewing and tobacco consumption in various forms. Despite habit corrections, the fibrosis stays refractory and grossly hanoers the quality of life. Young Males being the most affected group, this condition has more reflects adversities beyond one's individual health. Ayurveda interventions show significant improvements in many symptoms. Gandush is such a local Panchakarma therapy. An elderly female, known case of OSMF was taken up at the NIA deemed to be University Hospital, Jaipur, assessed on a specially designed Case Record Proforma and administered Gandush therapy for 2 month & significant reduction in most symptoms recorded.

Nasya karma is the special Panchakarma procedure where the drug is administered through Nasal Route. The medicated drug that is put into nostril moves in the channels up to the sringataka marma(Sira Marma) and spreads to whole of the interior of the head(Brain) and to the junction where all the channels related to the eyes, ears, oropharynx situated together thus shows influence on shiras by removing out the accumulated vitiated doshas localised in shiras of all sinuses in the skull. This action of Nasya karma is known as sirovirechana. According to Vagbhatacharya the nasal passage is considered as the Channel for head (brain) i.. e “Nasa Hi Siraso Dwaram’’. Therefore, Nasya Karma pacify all accumulated doshas and related diseases. Nasya Karma is a therapeutic procedure in which the medicated oils, Swarasa, Kwatha or Churna is administered through nasal cavity to eliminate the vitiated Doshas situated in Sira (Brain) for the treatment of urdhwa Jatrugata Vikar. The First Cranial nerve (olfactory nerves) are connected with the higher centers of the brain i.e., limbic system which contains amygdaloidal complex, hypothalamus and basal ganglia. so, the drugs administered through nose stimulate the higher centers of brain which in turn alters the endocrine and Central nervous system functions, by controlling the doshas. The medicated drug also enters into the systemic circulation, intracranial region by lymphatic and Vascular Pathway. The present review article is compiled from many articles and research papers collected from different websites along with related materials from ancient ayurvedic classics.

: -Nowadays, in the name of urbanization, there is increase in sedentary lifestyle, eating disorders, excessive stress from work and study, excessive exercise or physical activities. Due to this, women have been suffering from menstrual abnormalities such as oligomenorrhea, anovulation, infertility, etc. All these disorders are found together under a condition known as polycystic ovarian syndrome. Polycystic ovarian syndrome is a condition of hormonal imbalance characterized by oligomenorrhea/anovulation, polycystic ovaries and clinical or biochemical hyperandrogenism. Any 2 of these 3 criteria are enough to define this condition. In Ayurveda, this condition is very much similar to conditions like Artava Kshaya ( Oligomenorrhea ), Pushpaghani Jatiharini ( Anouvulatory cycle ), Kaphaj-vataj Artavdushti (Hyperandrogenic condition). When not treated early, it leads to complications like glucose intolerance, dyslipidemia, cardiac disease, infertility. A 22 year old female of married life of 2 years presented to PTSR OPD of RGGPGA College and Hospital, Paprola, with the complaints of irregularity of menses with increased interval since about 5 and half years and inability to conceive since 2 years. Ultrasonographic findings showed Polycystic ovarian pattern. A Samshaman regimen, Nagaradi Kwath was planned for the management of oligomenorrhea which was the major symptom of the patient. The regimen included of composition of medicinal plants (ref. Harita Samhita) given as decoction orally. Soon after 6 months of intake of the Ayurvedic regimen along with practice of appropriate diet and Yogasana, menstrual pattern was established in natural way and the patient conceived on the 6th month of her treatment.

Yoga plays a vital role as the ancient Indian healing art while dealing with the physical, mental, emotional, moral, and spiritual well-being. Yoga education is a process that helps in the all-around development of a human being. Suryanamaskaris a major part of yogic training that concentrates on physical health, mental health as well as spiritual health also. It is a sequential combination of 12 Yogic postures made up of a variety of spinal column forward and backward bending performed dynamically in synchrony with the breath. The objective of the study was to determine the effect of Suryanamaskaryogic training on the Components of Physical fitness i.e Strength, Speed, Endurance, Flexibility, and Coordination. The subjects for this study were selected from Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh. A total of fifteen students were randomly selected for the study. Suryanamaskarwas considered the independent variable and components of physical fitness were considered the dependent variable. Strength was measured by the handgrip dynamometer test in Kg. Speed was measured by the flying 30 meters test in time seconds. Endurance was measured by the sit-up test in 30 seconds. Flexibility was measured by the sit and reach test in cm. Coordination was measured by an alternate hand wall toss test. Repeated measure design was used for this study. The test was started four weeks prior to the treatment and thereafter every two weeks. Observations were taken up to the end of six weeks of training. To determine the effect of Suryanamaskaron fitness components, level of significance was set at 0.05 levels. In relation to fitness components, a significant (p< 0.05) effect of Suryanamaskarwas found at the end of six weeks of training.

Ayurveda is an ancient Eternal method of medicine. Ayurveda is concerned with all aspects of life, both healthy and unhealthy. It provides a lot of information aimed at healing wounds. For the treatment of different disorders, a variety of surgical and para surgical procedures have been described. Vrana is one among them, which is affecting the humans from the ancient period of civilization. Vrana stated in Ayurveda simulates Ulcers or wound; which may get converted into Dushta Vrana. The word Dushta means bad, wicked, offensive, and culpable or necrotic. In Ayurveda, the Vrana is referred to as Wound and healing process of Vrana is a natural phenomenon that begins almost immediately just after an injury. Shalya Tantra is a significant branch of Ayurveda. In this branch of Ayurveda i.e, Shalya Tantra Lekhana karma is one among the Shashthi Upakrama and Ashtavidh Shastrakarma. In the procedure of Lekhan Karma (Debridement), necrotic tissue & slough are removed till the fresh blood comes out. Lekhan Karma of vrana is removing of debris from the wound. wounds having thick and irregular edges which burst often with hard and elevated muscles, that means the floor is full of slough or with necrosed tissues. Coarse linen clothes, thick cotton clothes, alkali and surgical equipment’s are all the means we use for the purpose of Lekhana karma. Thus, the Infection is prevented by the removal of necrosed tissues.

Article received on 17th August 2021 Article Accepted 26 Sept. 2021 Article published 30 Sept.2021 ABSTRACT: An Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) as “An appreciably harmful or unpleasant reaction” after taking a medicine at normal doses, during normal use. Adverse drug reactions are a significant cause of morbidity and mortality and it is considered non preventable. The term Adverse Drug Effect is convertible with Adverse Drug Reaction. The meaning of ADR is different from the word side effect because side effects are beneficial as well as harmful. The field under which ADR is studied is known as Pharmacovigilance. An Adverse Drug Event (ADE) is an injury resulting from medical intervention related to a drug. The Adverse drug reactions are classified into six types. Timing, the pattern of illness, the results of investigations, and rechallenge can help idiosyncrasy causality to a suspected adverse drug reaction. If possible in management, you can stop that drug and treat its effects. Suspicious adverse drug reactions should be reported so that such cases can be prevented in the future.

: In Ayurveda Pratishyaya is described under Nasa Roga . Which is characterised by Shira sula (headache) ,Nasa srava (rhinorrhoea), Jwara (fever), Angamarda (bodyache), Kshawathu (sneezing), Kasa (cough), Aruchi (Anorexia). Pratishyaya may be correlated with Rhinitis in modern medicine where nasal mucous membrane inflamed due to different infection of allergens. In present era, the era of industrialisation and modernization there are some disease which need to be given attention, Pratishyaya is one of them. As respiratory system is continuous contact with the external environment since birth considered as prime site of hypersensitization. Improper management or negligence can lead to lots of complications like Badhirya (deafness), Andhatva (blindness), Gandhanasa (anosmia) etc. In this case patient of acute rhinitis has been treated with Ayurvedic classical drugs Triphala guggula and Laxmivilas rasa . After two weeks the features of pratisyaya ( acute rhinitis) has been reduced markly and patient relieved significantly. How to cite this article : Nematullah M, Das M, Mahmood S, Kar Mahapatra P.B. 在阿育吠陀中,Pratishyaya被描述在Nasa Roga下。它的特点是Shira sula(头痛),Nasa srava(流鼻涕),Jwara(发烧),Angamarda(身体疼痛),Kshawathu(打喷嚏),Kasa(咳嗽),Aruchi(厌食症)。 管理不当或疏忽会导致许多并发症,如Badhirya(耳聋)、Andhatva(失明)、Gandhanasa(嗅觉缺失)等。在这个病例中,病人的急性鼻炎已经用阿育吠陀经典药物Triphala guggula和Laxmivilas rasa治疗。两周后,急性鼻炎症状明显减轻,患者症状明显缓解。Nematullah M, Das M, Mahmood S, Kar Mahapatra P.B.。萨满奥沙迪IRJAY治疗急性鼻炎单例研究。[在线]2021;4(8):63-66。可从:http://irjay.com;DOI: https://doi.org/10.47223/IRJAY.2021.4807
