Ayurveda is a natural health care system that has been developed in India since the beginning of civilisation. It is defined by Acharya Charak that Arogya is important to achieve Purushartha Chatushtaya . Ayurveda heavily stresses the preventive and pro-active aspects of wellbeing rather than the curative aspects. The principles of Dinacharya (daily regimen), Ratricharya (night regimen), Ritucharya (seasonal routine) and Sadvritta (code of good conduct, and Achara Rasayana , (code of conduct) along with recommendations for a balanced diet and lifestyle, are well known in Ayurveda, but in the current situation, hardly anyone can adopt them properly. As a result, there is a significant uptick in lifestyle diseases such as pandemics, with diabetes the most threatening of them. Diabetes is the fourth leading cause of global disease mortality. Type 2 DM is responsible for nearly 80% of the events. In Ayurveda, Madhumeha (Hyperglycemia) is one of the forms of Vataja Prameha compared to Diabetes Mellitus due to disease similarity in etiopathogenesis, clinical features and prognosis. The key causes of Madhumeha (Hyperglycemia) are lack of exercise, poor dietary practices, heavy consumption of food containing Snigdha (unctuousness ) and Guru (heavy) Guna , and food that causes Kapha Dosha vitiation. Modern treatment has its drawbacks, but Ayurvedic management principles can help the patient regulate blood glucose levels and change their schedule.

The doctrine of Tridosha forms the cornerstone of Ayurveda, the oldest & pioneer healthcare / medical system in the world. The only difference between health and illness is the balance or imbalance among Tridosha. As per Ayurvedicliterature, most of diseases arise of some imbalance of Jatharagni(Metabolism Process).Vata Rakta/ Gout is no exception, presenting with simultaneous imbalance among Vata, Rakta, and Agni.As per Ayurvedictherapeutic guidelines, this disease is be to be dealt with through Shaman & Shodhan modalilties. Gout is a prominent metabolic disorder, also featuring in the metabolic syndrome.Though much under rated, AAragwadhaa being mildly laxative/Mridu Virechak, anti-dermatitis/Kandughna, anti-inflammatory /Jwaraharposes a huge potential as anti-Gout agent. These properties have been established by various modern researches aswell.

Objective: The goal of this study was to look at the mode of action of Shirodhara and how it affects the levels of neurotransmitters in those who suffer from insomnia. Data Source: Brihatrayi and Laghutrayi were accessed through the NIIMH website, as well as newer texts both online and offline. Review Method: The mode of action of shirodhara and its influence on sleep regulating neurotransmitters were the main topics of discussion in the literature study. For scientific explanation and therapeutic application, both Ayurvedic and modern texts have been assembled with its effect on neurotransmitter levels. Result: The current period of pandemic conditions, as well as Covid-like events, has resulted in a slew of mental health concerns and sleep disturbances. It has been discovered that stressful situations produce a neurotransmitter imbalance. Quality sleep may heal half of all ailments, which is why it is considered one of life's essential sub-pillars. Additionally, due to its effectiveness and lack of side effects, a movement from pharmacological to nonpharmacological therapy has been noted. Conclusion: Shirodhara therapy is a panchakarma procedure in which a medicinal liquid is poured continuously and rhythmically over the forehead. Acharya Vagbhatta characterized it as a sort of Moordhini taila. Shiroabhyang, Shiroseka, Shiropichu, and Shirobasti are all part of the Moordhinitaila. Sleep is an important component in determining life expectancy. Shirodhara therapy is regarded as an excellent nonpharmacological treatment for insomnia in Ayurveda.

Migraine is the most prevalent disabling brain condition which is defined as a headache which occurs at least once in 15 days per month, is extremely debilitating. Many chronic migraine sufferers also have drug overuse like analgesic, opioid, triptan, or ergot derivative at least 10 times per month. Migraine is corelated to Ardhaavabhedhaka in Ayurveda, and it is a severe health problem that affects persons between the age group of 20 to 50 years. Migraine is the third most frequent ailment in the world, according to WHO, there is a global frequency of 14.7 percent. A basic understanding of the most frequent primary headaches, as well as a reasonable strategy to approaching patients with these disorders, enables for a rapid and safe diagnosis of chronic migraine, which opens up a wide range of acute and preventative therapy choices. In Migraine, sedatives and tranquilizers are often, in Ayurveda the management of Migraine is multidimensional with a wide range of therapies like Nasya, Shirobasti, Agnikarma etc. in the present the effect of Shirobasti is discussed in the management of Ardhaavabhedhaka (Migraine). According to recent studies, roughly 6-8 percent of men and 12-15 percent of women suffer from migraine. In terms of actual numbers of attacks, data from prevalence and incidence studies estimate that 3000 migraine attacks occur per million of the general population per day. Although there is a paucity of epidemiological data in many nations at the moment, recent anecdotal evidence suggests that certain places, such as India, have greater prevalence of migraine. Health is defined in Ayurveda, as a state of well-being resulting from a synergistic balance of Doshas (primary system functions Vata, Pitta, and Kapha), Dhatu (body tissues), Mala (excretory secretions), and Agni (life force) (digestive fire). A joyful state of Atma (spirit), Indriya (sense organs), and Manas (mind) is also thought to be necessary for achieving good health. In Ayurvedic treatises, migraine headache is referred to as Ardhavabedhaka under the categorization of Shiroroga (diseases of the head area). The resulting pain is one-sided, severe, and penetrating in character. Fasting, dry food intake, alcohol, sobbing, supression of natural urges, daytime
目前,Shirobasti的效果在治疗Ardhaavabhedhaka(偏头痛)时被讨论。 在阿育吠陀中,健康被定义为一种由Doshas(主要系统功能Vata、Pitta和Kapha)、Dhatu(身体组织)、Mala(排泄分泌物)和Agni(生命力)(消化之火)协同平衡而产生的健康状态。 为预防和管理疾病,维持所有dosha体内平衡的基本方法是pathya ahara(健康调节的食物)和vihara(健康调节的生活方式)。
