Intelligent mobile robots cooperation within a tasks oriented environment 面向任务环境下的智能移动机器人协作

This article describes the architecture of a system that assigns operation tasks to a team of mobile robots. The purpose of the system is the execution of a complex set of operations by a cooperative team of robots. The framework includes a simple and friendly interface that uses a WWW navigator. The robot team is equipped with a different set of capacities. Each individual robot is developed having its own elementary set of tasks that can be executed. Even so, the robots are not able to execute a complex operation independently, this being the reason for witch this assign manager system was implemented, using a database as support. The database contains all the necessary information in order to perform complex operations.

Induction machine bearing faults detection based on artificial neural network 基于人工神经网络的感应电机轴承故障检测

Electrical machines are frequently facing bearing faults due to fatigue or wear. The detection of any damages in their incipient phase can contribute to prevention of unplanned breakdowns in industrial environment. In this paper an artificial neural network (ANN) based bearing fault detection method is detailed. Upon this method the phase currents of the induction machines are measured and analyzed by means of a new classifier scheme laying on a flexible ANN and an optimal smoothed graphical representation. For both the healthy and faulty machines specific kernels were identified. The results obtained by using the proposed classifier show that the applied Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm for the ANN training is an excellent choice for such diagnosis purposes and it can be a beneficial method for all electrical machine diagnosticians.

Seismic image recognition tool via artificial neural network 地震图像识别工具,通过人工神经网络

In oil and gas exploration, seismic images are processed to identify the existence of potential reservoir by classifying the seismic image into different sections. These sections, also known as objects, are made up of different patterns portraying the structure of subsurface. This study aims to develop an artificial neural network to recognize the objects of channel and fault in seismic images. Three neural networks employing tan-sigmoid, log-sigmoid and purelin transfer function were created respectively. Gray Level Cooccurrence Matrix (GLCM) textual feature is used as image features in our dataset. The accuracy of the developed neural network in recognizing channel and fault in seismic images were measured. This preliminary study reveals that the feedforward neural network with transfer function of tan-sigmoid has the best performance in classifying the objects in our case. It is then used to develop an automated tool as our prototype system to facilitate seismic object recognition. It is observed that the prototype system can serve as a good tool for undergraduate students to learn about channel and fault recognition with minimal guidance from the experts.

Identification based leakage detection of hydraulic capsules 基于识别的液压胶囊泄漏检测

In servo systems the hydraulic actuators are widely used when fast and accurate control is essential in addition to high force or torque. For this reason servo hydraulic system is commonly used in the modern strip rolling mills to adjust the gap between the work rolls. Automatic gauge control based on Hydraulic Gap Controller is commonly used in modern strip rolling mills to adjust the gap between work rolls. The dynamic control of rolling gap and force is achieved by using electro-hydraulic servo actuators - so-called hydraulic capsules - which can adjust the rolling gap dynamically for high rolling force. The basic aim of the paper is to monitor the parameter fluctuation of the Hydraulic Gap Control system in a Hot Rolling Mill and detect the alteration of internal leakage resistance at Capsule's piston seal.

Information acquisition support for decision-makers using the Multiplex Risk Communicator system 利用多路风险沟通系统为决策者提供信息获取支持

In this paper, risk communication as it relates to the issue of personal information leakage is discussed with the help of participants using the Multiplex Risk Communicator support system. We propose an information acquisition method that is divided into three phases corresponding to cognition models by the clarity of the information acquisition objective. The key characteristic of this method is the quick transition among three phases that effectively promotes learning in novice participants. An experiment verifies the effects of the proposed method.

A two-level approach for intricate manipulation planning 复杂操作规划的两级方法

In the past few years several research efforts have aimed to produce robots capable of operating in environments inhabited by humans. This requirement places some tough constraints on a robot; among them, the ability to solve manipulation tasks that come as second nature to people. Manipulation problems are difficult because they present narrow passages (often, the kinds of possible or useful maneuvers are included in a very small subset of all possible maneuvers) as well as very high dimensional configuration spaces. Manipulation tasks often require both arms to be used, and the grasp on a manipulated object matters. Furthermore, the grasp may need to be changed along the execution of the task. To make planning for such problems tractable, we propose a two-level planning architecture inspired by the way humans tackle such problems: plan a motion for the object first, then the sequence of manipulation actions. This approach can alleviate both the narrow passage and the high-dimensionality problem, as well as offer the possibility for human assisted motion planning. We offer an intuitive justification for the method and validate it experimentally.

Wavelet-based technique for feedback control of uncertain systems — A case study 基于小波的不确定系统反馈控制技术-一个案例研究

In designing control systems an important aim is minimizing the effects of uncertainties on system performance. The time-frequency characteristics of wavelets are useful for applications that require online response, such as controlling a process. It is proven, that the wavelet based controllers perform extremely well under certain definite conditions. In this paper, the multiscale representation of the error signal is investigated in direct feedback. The control method is applied to a temperature control task. Simulation results show satisfactory performance and highly efficient disturbance rejection. Advantages and drawbacks of the wavelet based control strategy are also discussed.

Selective chunking — Easy and effective way to estimate text similarity 选择性分块——简单有效的估计文本相似度的方法

Plagiarism is a serious problem especially in academic environment. Basically we define this problem as a theft of stealing somebody else's work or ideas. In this paper we focus on plagiarism in a domain of student assignments written in natural language. We propose an approach that should faster and better identify copied fragments of text data than standard approaches. We first identify topic related pairs of text documents and then select those pairs on further processing that discuss similar topic. We experimented with usage of different chunking methods in the comparison process to overcome typical problems as shorter fragments of text copied from other documents. The results show that our approach is more suitable for plagiarism detection as a standard n-gram method.

We first identify topic related pairs of text documents and then select those pairs on further processing that discuss similar topic. We experimented with usage of different chunking methods in the comparison process to overcome typical problems as shorter fragments of text copied from other documents. Evaluating performance of cloud computing environments 评估云计算环境的性能

The emerging technology of cloud computing offers off-premise, reliable solutions for common IT related needs of enterprises, but as different providers often envision these solutions in a different way, architects face a complex problem when trying to decide which provider to choose and compare or estimate the costs of different options. This paper presents a generalized, provider-neutral service and cost model to describe the capabilities of different environments and the prices associated with them. This model can serve as the basis for mathematical optimization algorithms.
