Performance evaluation of single and double-frequency low-cost GNSS receivers in static relative mode 静态相对模式下单频和双频低成本GNSS接收机性能评估

The advancement of low-cost GNSS receivers with modern built-up characteristics has opened a new window to investigate the performance of various low-cost receivers with an outlook on their performance and suitability for varied geodetic purposes. The main objective of this study is to evaluate the positioning performance of single and double-frequency GNSS receivers in combination with geodetic antennas in static relative mode regarding Mexican regulations. The recorded observations were processed by a static relative method including the CORS station from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography in Mexico (INEGI). The results of the survey conducted at a distance of 4 and 33 km from CORS station show similar accuracy for all low-cost receivers. For low-cost GNSS receivers NEO-M8T, NEO-6T, and ZED-F9P the solutions that were obtained reached mm in horizontal precision using a geodetic grade antenna. Similarly, the ZED-F9P model was proved at a long distance from the CORS station and presents high precision. Regarding the vertical component, in all cases where the GGM10 model was included, the vertical component is not allowed to use for topography or geodetic works, however, the horizontal component where mm precision was achieved is allowed for different highly precision survey works.

Determining phenological phases of selected tree species with MODIS time-series data 利用MODIS时间序列数据确定选定树种物候期

This study investigates the usefulness of MODIS (Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer) satellite imagery for determining the start, end, and length of the growing season of selected deciduous tree species. Vegetation indices derived from satellite imagery provide consistent observations in a similar temporal sequence and are useful for determining phenological phases. Using time series of NDVI (Normalised Difference Vegetation Index) vegetation index from MODIS imagery, phenological patterns were detected at several points in Slovenia and different approaches to determine seasonal phases were compared. In addition, the derived seasonal phases with field phenological and meteorological data were also compared. It has been found that the success of determining phenological phases from satellite imagery depends on many factors: the spatial resolution of the satellite data, the smoothing method for the time series data, the method for determining phenological parameters, and the field data used for comparison. The results of the study show that phenological phases determined by using MODIS data with a resolution of 250 m best match the phenological data maintained by the Slovenian Forestry Institute using the mean seasonal values method.

Triangle-based Horizontal Geodetic Datum Transformations in Bosnia and Herzegovina 波黑基于三角形的水平大地基准面变换

The article describes the procedure for transformation between old and new horizontal geodetic datum in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Two triangle-based methods were used for transformation, which are based on irregular and regular triangular network. For development of transformation models two set of points were used, one for developing models (around 1200 points), and other for testing (around 850 points). Prior to development, all points were tested at presence of outliers, and outliers are marked in the points database. Results shows that large part of distortions in old triangulation network can be modeled with used methods. Maximal positional standard deviations with best model are 4.5 and 6.4 cm for two sets of points, respectively, while maximal positional discripencies are 30 and 40 cm for two sets of points. Each method has some advantages and disadvantages which are shown in this article. It is shown that the number, spatial distribution and quality of input data are crucial for development of highly accurate transformation model. Also, as an important contribution of this work, some problematic areas with irregular distortions are identified. Finally, some recommendations are given for improvement of developed models.

Assessment of Dau Tieng reservoir water quality using standard criteria combined with remotely sensed images 利用标准标准结合遥感影像评价道田水库水质

Water quality (WQ) pollution is a matter of concern to everyone, and it is necessary to take remedial measures to protect human life. This paper presents the assessment of surface WQ through the Water Quality Index (WQI) followed by the Vietnam Standard QCVN 08-MT:2015/BTNMT combined with satellite data for the Dau Tieng reservoir. The implementation method is based on the correlation of each WQ indicator with the spectral features of satellite images to build a regression function, simulating the spatial distribution of the entire reservoir. The Sentinel-2A satellite images were used with reflective bands in the visible and near-infrared (NIR) spectrum region. The regression functions showed that the correlation of the WQ indicators was related to single bands, and the band ratios include blue and NIR, red/blue, green/blue, and NIR/blue bands. Simulation results of the WQI spatial distribution expressed that the WQ of the Dau Tieng reservoir was in a polluted state at the level of WQI fluctuation in the range of 0–50 for the most part. Dau Tieng irrigation system plays a vital role in the water distribution system for Tay Ninh province and the southern key economic region. Therefore, appropriate treatment measures should be taken if it needs to be used for domestic water supply purposes.

From Conic to Cylindrical Map Projections 从圆锥到圆柱映射投影

In books and textbooks on map projections, cylindrical, conic and azimuthal projections are usually considered separately. It is sometimes mentioned that cylindrical and azimuthal projections can be interpreted as limiting cases of conic, but this is rarely proven. The goal of this article is to show in a rigorous and systematic way how to generally approach solving the problem of transition from a conic to a corresponding cylindrical projection. This article points to the fact that J. H. Lambert showed as early as 1772 that a conformal cylindrical projection is created from a conformal conic projection. Following his idea, this paper shows that not only conformal, but also equal-area and equidistant cylindrical projections can be derived from corresponding conic map projections. Although it seems that the paper deals with quite well known and intuitive property of conic projections, it will also show that the transition from the conic to the corresponding cylindrical projection is not always possible.

This study deals with the use of VIKOR method in finding the optimal solution for a special-purpose geodetic network design. It is about a multi-criteria compromise ranking method developed in 1986. Based on previously defined criteria functions related to precision and reliability, four acceptable alternative solutions were firstly established. Then, with the aim of finding the optimal one, those solutions were subjected to VIKOR method. The geodetic micro-network used in this study was simulated as a trilateration one and consisted of six control points discretizing a structural geometry as well as four, five or six reference points (pillars), depending on what alternative solution it was about. The optimal network design should have ensured the detection of deviations of the control points' positions in accordance with a priori introduced tolerances and constraints. It turned out the approach based on VIKOR method is a very efficient tool in tasks involving multiple conflicting requirements referred to a geodetic engineer and in the cases when the decision must be made in a short term.

Modified method of deformation analysis according to the Munich approach 根据慕尼黑方法对变形分析方法进行了改进

Despite the technical progress monitoring the stability of engineering structures remains one of the most difficult tasks in engineering geodesy. This article presents the deformation analysis according to the Munich approach of W. M. Welsch. The method deals with the testing of the geodetic network's congruence, the affinity of selected triangles, and the testing of other kinematic parameters in 2D geodetic networks. Deformation analysis using the Munich approach can be performed using the X-method, which is based on the comparison of the coordinates of identical points in the geodetic network between two sets of measurements that depend on the geodetic datum, or using the L-method, which determines changes in the values of lengths and angles which are quantities independent of the geodetic datum. In the modified method, we propose to determine the congruence of all lengths and all angles in the network between two sets of measurements and to determine the congruence of all triangles between points in the network, not only selected ones, as it is common in the classical approach of deformation analysis based on the Munich approach. The proposed improvements are tested on the example of a known hexagon, and an analysis is made of the success of detecting stable points in the network using the classical Munich approach. In the present case, the results of the proposed method did not differ from the results of other deformation analysis methods.

Features of determining the real property valuation using the alternative approach of matrix pseudo-inversion 利用矩阵伪反演替代方法确定不动产估值的特点

The purpose of the work is the application of using the method of matrix pseudo-inversion to determine the market value of real estate objects using the mathematical apparatus of the method of comparing sales of similar real estate objects. Using modern mathematical methods to calculate the value allows us to overcome the influence of the appraiser's subjectivity. One of the main goals of research and analysis of adjustment factors is the analysis of the real estate market, the structure and distribution of costs for creating a system of real estate improvements and components of the settlement’s infrastructure. For the first time, the method of matrix pseudo-inversion was applied to determine the market value of real estate objects for the case when it is impossible to obtain the inverse matrix in the classical way. Conducted studies using the pseudo-inverse matrix theory also make it possible to determine the coefficients to the value of the object of evaluation according to the most influential price-forming factors. The result obtained by this method can serve as a benchmark when the value is determined by the classical valuation methods.
