Fast turbo codes using sub-block based interleaver 基于子块交织器的快速turbo码

Information theory provides fundamental benchmarks based on which different communication systems can be compared. Given the channel model and transmission constraints, the information theory enables to compute rate at which reliable communication is possible. Once this rate or in other words the channel capacity is calculated, it is the task of system engineer to devise coding schemes that approach this capacity. Though the Shannon theory appears to be computationally feasible, still it was not practically implementable. The invention of turbo codes was established as an approach of reaching close to Shannon limit. The performance of turbo code depends largely on the design of interleaver. The bit error rate and delay incurred in encoding and decoding are highly influenced by the interleaver. In this paper, sub-blocking based interleaver architecture is proposed which can be extended to any existing interleaver structure. The advantage of sub-blocking the input frames is that the complexity of the interleaver reduces and consequently the execution time will be reduced drastically. In addition, a simultaneous processing of interleaving and de-interleaving can be achieved. In this paper, the said architecture is verified for block and 3GPP interleavers with different combinations. It is shown that a reasonable BER is achieved in very less time compared to all existing interleavers.

Generalized frequency division multiplexing for acoustic communication in underwater systems 水下系统声通信的广义频分复用

Whether it is an oceanic search/rescue operation or marine life monitoring, the human effort is limited by the ability to communicate effectively through underwater (UW) channels. The UW channel poses a challenge in terms of colored ambient noise, frequency dependent attenuation and doubly selective fading. In this paper, Generalized Frequency Division Multiplexing (GFDM), a non-orthogonal multicarrier scheme well suited for multipath fading channels, is tested as a viable choice for physical layer in UW acoustic communication. Empirical approach is used to model the underwater noise and attenuation. The error performance of proposed system is systematically evaluated and validated under different UW channel conditions.

Administration based on network computing for enterprise systems: Enhancing the efficiency of network based administration 基于网络计算的企业系统管理:提高基于网络的管理效率

writing the future of communication technology, there would be a tectonic shift toward a reality that is better felt by the human mind, a world where everything is tangible and accessible. The driving forces behind this technology of tomorrow are built from standpoints being, seamless connectivity, and awareness. Through this paper, the core construct would be set to improve the efficiency of these constituents, and describe the elements that would render this possible. Administration based on Network Computing for Enterprise Systems or A.N.C.E.S. is a tool that achieves this function for the enterprise class and other end point devices on the network. Our primary factors of development included a design that utilized customized enhanced network architecture and program structuring to obtain and process data.

Classification rule discovery using variant genetic algorithm 基于变异遗传算法的分类规则发现

The motive of data mining is to extract information from large database. Classification rule mining is the most used mining technique to acquire hidden knowledge from real world databases for making useful decisions. Obtaining comprehensible rules is very significant in real world applications. In this paper, classification rules have been mined from large volume of database using genetic algorithm based approach. Genetic Algorithm (GA) provides more accurate results than other traditional methods. The primary parameters of GA are crossover, mutation and fitness function. Variations in these operators have shown better impact on accuracy. Experimental results on Fisher's Iris data from UC Irvine (UCI) Machine Learning repository, using proposed variant of GA has shown better performance.

Design of PI-lead controller for a plant having a right-half-plane zero 具有右半平面零的装置pi引线控制器的设计

In engineering applications, DC-DC power supplies play a vital role. Such type of applications requires a regulated output voltage and a steady state operation irrespective of load changes. This is a challenging problem in boost converter which is of non-minimum phase type. Therefore, in this paper, a technique is proposed to design PI-Lead compensator for boost converter. The main advantage of this technique is that the desired performance can be achieved, particularly phase margin. Further, this approach is better in comparison to conventional PID controller and also recently published PI-Lead compensator design method.

Realization of a novel transformer-less grid-PV interfaced inverter 一种新型无变压器并网光伏接口逆变器的实现

In this paper, grid connection of a single phase, Cuk derived, novel inverter topology that does not need a transformer is presented. This inverter consists of five switches, possesses Buck-Boost capability and topologically guarantees the elimination of the ground leakage current. To validate the theoretical analysis and design, a detailed simulation study is carried out. Experiments were conducted on a 300W laboratory prototype in stand- alone and in grid connected mode and results are analyzed. The results demonstrate the suitability of the inverter for transformer-less grid interface in single-phase applications with single power conversion stage. The inverter structure can also be used as a micro-inverter integrated to the PV module.

Spread spectrum based encrypted audio steganographic system with improved security 提高安全性的扩频加密音频隐写系统

With rapid growth of the internet technology, steganography has gained increasing attention in the domain of information security. Audio steganography is a technique of hiding secret message inside an audio signal in an imperceptible manner. This paper discusses the implementation and analysis of an audio steganographic technique utilizing Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) scheme. The algorithm is enhanced to provide additional security by combining steganography with encryption. The secret message is first encrypted using a cryptographic algorithm, and then embedded in a cover audio using DSSS technique. The imperceptibility, security, capacity and accuracy of the proposed system have been evaluated using various performance metrics such as Signal to Noise Ratio, Peak signal to Noise Ratio, Bit Error Rate, Strength Factor, Chip Rate etc. After analyzing the experiment results, it is observed that the proposed implementation gives a more secure and robust steganographic system on the expense of compromising the embedding capacity. Such a system is ideally suited for covert communication in hostile environments, such as those related to military, defense and cyber intelligence, where short messages need to be communicated with high levels of security. The message embedding capacity could however be improved by increasing the capacity of the audio cover.

Novel clustering of bigger and complex medical data by enhanced fuzzy logic structure 基于增强模糊逻辑结构的大型复杂医疗数据聚类方法

The significant contribution of the clustering algorithm for diagnosis of the clinical condition through medical data consideration is must in the healthcare sector. The currently existing techniques implement the Fuzzy Logic in clustering and have been found by research gap which describes that less focus on the medical data clustering. Thus, this paper introduced a novel algorithm where the enhancement of fuzzy logic is performed to achieve better computational ability in the processing of highly complex medical data such as microarray data. The introduced algorithm is implemented for disease diagnosis and classification. The outcomes of the proposed algorithm are compared with recent approaches like the genetic algorithm, support vector machine (SVM), and artificial neural network (ANN). On analyzing these comparative results found that the proposed clustering model achieved significant performance in response time and classification of disease with better accuracy.

The currently existing techniques implement the Fuzzy Logic in clustering and have been found by research gap which describes that less focus on the medical data clustering. Thus, this paper introduced a novel algorithm where the enhancement of fuzzy logic is performed to achieve better computational ability in the processing of highly complex medical data such as microarray data. The introduced algorithm is implemented for disease diagnosis and classification. The outcomes of the proposed algorithm are compared with recent approaches like the genetic algorithm, support vector machine (SVM), and artificial neural network (ANN). Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V) Communication is a developing technology which helps make our transportation system intelligent. The system can also avoid accidents and traffic congestion. In this paper, we employ Light Fidelity (Li-Fi) for data communication among vehicles. Li-Fi falls under the category of Visible Light Communication (VLC). Li-Fi involves the use of visible light spectrum as a medium of communication. The technology provides high speed and is an eco-friendly method. The use of Li-Fi in V2V Communication is considered promising. In this paper, we propose a framework for V2V Communication using Li-Fi Technology.

Wavelet based clutter reduction of GPR data 基于小波变换的探地雷达杂波降噪

Detection and location of buried low/non metallic mines is done using electromagnetic waves penetration through these objects. The reflections of the buried objects are covered by the clutters reflected from the ground. Hence, it is tough in extracting object signal from the received GPR data. In this part of work to reduce clutter, a signal processing technique based on the discrete wavelet transform (DWT) is implemented. We have considered various cases and conducted experiments for targets at different depths. The processed output clearly indicates that by using this method, the peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) of detection data is significantly improved over a particular level of wavelet.
