Design and development of H frame quadcopter for control system with obstacle detection using ultrasound sensors 基于超声传感器的H架四轴飞行器障碍物检测控制系统的设计与开发

Majority of applications of a quadcopter, require it to be spatially aware of its surroundings. This can be achieved by performing image processing on the footage from an onboard camera, using reflective markers and IR cameras or by simply using multiple ultrasound sensors. In this project we have designed an H-frame quadcopter, optimized to perform obstacle detection using ultrasound sensors and implemented a control system to do the same.

A low offset instrumentation amplifier for bio­medical applications 用于生物医学应用的低偏置仪表放大器

In this paper a low power, superior input referred offset Instrumentation amplifier (IA) suitable for biomedical applications has been described. It uses an intermediate buffering transistor between the opamp and common mode to improve the offset. A prototype of 82dB differential gain and 110dB low-frequency CMRRand common mode input range of .5 to 1.1V.A Prototype has been developed in 45nm CMOS technology and simulated with Spectre. Simulation results shows that the 0.5mV offset voltage and 3x improvement compared to the existing architecture. The circuit consumes 6.75uW from 1.5V supply and occupying 0.00325mm2 silicon area.

Implementation of lightweight cryptographic algorithms in FPGA 轻量级密码算法在FPGA中的实现

With the advancements in technology the needs of security systems to protect data are becoming crucial. The shift from high end devices such as desktop computers, servers and laptops to small constrained devices brings a wide range of new security challenges. The major concern of such devices is the storage, access and transmission of critical data. Lightweight cryptography refers to the branch of cryptography for developing cryptographic algorithms and its implementation in resource constrained devices like smart cards, RFID tags ,wireless sensors, Internet of Things(IoT) etc. In this paper the implementation of 64 bit plaintext input cryptographic algorithms in FPGA has been proposed.

Strategies for monitoring CAN node communication failures in the V2X eco-system V2X生态系统中CAN节点通信故障监测策略

Numerous technologies have been deployed to manage and assist transportation. Vehicular Communication using Dedicated Short Range Communication is one such technology being used as a part of Advanced Driver Assistant System. V2X Communication involves broadcast of vehicle information such as vehicle speed and position to surrounding vehicles and to the Road Side unit. Reliable communication between the nodes of a vehicular network must happen, when it comes to the transfer of critical data messages. This work studies the sliding window and alive rolling count approaches for exchange of Controller Area Network (CAN) messages in the V2X ecosystem. The performance of these methods in monitoring communication failures and maintaining system stability is illustrated.

Dynamical analysis of chaos anti-synchronisation in bidirectionally coupled SMIB power system 双向耦合SMIB电力系统混沌反同步动力学分析

Controlled operation of electrical power system is challenging, especially when they unveil chaotic behavior under the privation of reactive power and various disturbances. There are exchanges of power among different parts of power systems involved in its operation. Hence, we investigate the effect of bidirectional coupling between two Single Machine Infinite Bus (SMIB) power systems to study its dynamic behavior. The dynamics of these coupled systems is strongly influenced by variation in coupling strength. The uncoupled systems which are initially in chaotic state can be anti synchronised between each other by suitable choice of coupling form and optimum coupling strength. It is observed that stronger coupling can drive chaotic systems back to periodic state.

Compact ultra-wideband BPF based on square resonator using inter-digital coupling 基于数字间耦合方形谐振器的紧凑型超宽带BPF

This paper is about a Ultra wideband BPF with inter-digital coupling line. A novel square resonator integrated with inter-digital coupling on both sides plays a key role in this filter design. Design and EM Simulation of the UWB filter's characteristics are discussed in this work. The proposed UWB filter produces tremendous bandwidth ranges from 2.3 GHz to 8 GHz. It also exhibit out band characteristics which meets the FCC's requirement. The simulation study of the projected filter is executed by electromagnetic tool. The filter evaluation parameters like return loss, insertion loss, phase and group delay are obtained and their responses are analyzed. The complete size measurement of the filter is achieved to be 39mm×3.2mm×1.6mm on accounting the above features. The calculated bandwidth ratio with respect to center frequency of the filter is obtained about 115%. The performance parameter results shows the filter's return loss (S11) and insertion loss (S21) are -41 dB and -2 dB respectively.

Priority queuing model for analysis of network traffic in flight operations of commercial aircraft 商用飞机飞行运行网络流量分析的优先排队模型

All electric Aircraft and Intelligent systems is the future trend of Avionics. It is very important to monitor various health parameters of the aircraft in order to ensure safety of passengers, crew and operators and to improve reliability of aircraft. Even as the aerospace community is working on multiple technologies like EHM, SHM, AHM and IVHM to monitor health parameters, there are challenges in selecting and placing the sensors optimally and establishing seamless communication between different subsystem monitoring units. This requires increased number of sensors and with the existing wired network in the aircraft, deploying and managing a scalable sensor network becomes more complicated. It is proposed to develop WSN onboard aircraft to simplify configurability and maintainability for a scalable network. Developing new WSN comes with design challenges for selection of topologies, frequency allocation for wireless nodes and meeting the performance metrics in terms of network throughput, system latency and reliable data. Since performance metrics depends on the traffic characteristics, a mathematical model for network traffic analysis for the proposed WSN is presented. Priority Queueing theory has been used in the model to handle different priority levels of multi-typed and multi-rated sensor data in an avionics network. Both preemptive and non-preemptive priority handling policies are used to define mathematical expressions for network traffic. The policies enable comparative analysis of network performance in terms of qualifying system response to low priority data in presence of those belonging to high priority class. The model is applied to a representative network with 6 sensors of different priority levels and variable data rates to assess QoS parameters of the network, in specific (i) Average system response and (ii) Waiting time. The network simulation platform presented in the paper serves as a tool to assess feasibility of MAC protocol selection for different scenarios in wireless avionic communications.

Landslide is a very common natural hazard particularly in the hilly areas. Till now landslide causes a loss of around 1000 million lives and also 4 billion of property. Asia witnesses 220 landslides in the past century. This paper will focus on the various techniques for mapping, monitoring and modeling of landside for prior warning of landslide in landslide prone area. This paper also gives a brief description on the landslide monitoring using point sensors and optical sensors as a whole and its comparison with the conventional methods. The landslide mapping, monitoring and modeling schemes in reference to Guwahati city are also discussed briefly.

Robust control of DC-DC boost converter using 2-DOF 2-periodic controller 基于二自由度二周期控制器的DC-DC升压变换器鲁棒控制

From the mathematical model of the DC - DC boost converter it is evident that there exists a right half plane zero in its control-output transfer function. This work investigates whether a discrete time periodic controller can provide a superior robustness in controlling of DC-DC boost converter operating in continuous conduction mode (CCM) by virtue of its loop-zero placement capability. The problem considered is in the context of robust control of non-minimum phase (NMP) system, i.e system with unstable zero in its dynamics. The present works investigates whether it is possible to relocate non-minimum phase zero of fixed frequency boost converter operating in CCM. In this respect a 2-DOF, 2- Periodic controller is designed, that employs a systematic 2-stage algorithm involving linear algebraic steps, to verify the result. The effectiveness of the proposed controller is then evaluated and the improvements in transient behavior along with robustness are shown via simulation results.

Tri-level high capacitive load clock driver design for charge coupled devices 电荷耦合器件的三电平高容性负载时钟驱动器设计

The drive requirements for most of the advanced linear and TDI [Time delay integration] detector is becoming critical with respect to voltage levels and capacitive load driving. These detectors require tri-level bipolar clocks for driving capacitive loads of the order of~7200 pF with fast rise/fall time of the order of ~350ns to improve the charge transfer efficiency. No off the shelf space qualified tri-level bipolar clock drivers are available to meet these stringent requirements. This calls for the design of new customized clock driver electronics. Hence discrete transistor based in-house design is carried out to cater to the tri-level bipolar clock driving requirements of detectors. This paper discusses the design details, simulation and characterization results and temperature variation results for the same.
