For a comfortable stay of residents, more places are needed where citizens can relax in the fresh air surrounded by fresh foliage and nature. When designing or reconstructing a park, it is important to take into account the principles of plant selection. The results of the landscape-planning structure of the territory of the Koltsovsky public garden in Voronezh are presented and a description of its current state is given. This facility is located in the city center and is a popular recreation place for the population. An overview of the vegetation planted on the territory of the park is carried out. This study is devoted to the development of the principles of landscape and architectural formation of urban transit spaces in the conditions of the city of Voronezh. The authors propose to take a fresh look at the pedestrian space of the streets. Today, streets are the most important public spaces. Therefore, it is necessary to develop them as special public spaces, filling them with new functions. A concept has been developed, the main task of which is to create a new quality public street space that meets the needs of all user groups. Landscape architecture plays a special and dominant role in this concept. Special attention is paid to the selection of utilitarian small architectural forms. Permeable wooden structures of benches with the integration of plants into these structures were chosen. At the same time, you can use both flower arrangements and low-growing shrubs.

A brief overview of mineral extraction fields in the Kabardino-Balkar Republic is given. Taking into account the forest-growing conditions of the substrate types, the directions for creating forest plantations are proposed. Soil mixtures in the research region are divided into 3 main groups according to the degree of suitability for biological reclamation: unsuitable, requiring long – term reclamation, unsuitable, becomes suitable after improving their properties, suitable-potentially fertile and fertile soils. In order to increase the efficiency of reproduction of anthropogenic landscapes, measures for the reconstruction and protection of natural forest stands are proposed.
