A new framework for measuring volume of axisymmetric food products using computer vision system based on cubic spline interpolation 基于三次样条插值的计算机视觉测量轴对称食品体积的新框架

Volume is an important factor to determine the external quality of a food product. The volume measurement of food product is not a simple process if it is performed manually. For alternative, several volume measurement methods for food products have been proposed using 2D and 3D computer vision. Disk method and frustum cone method have been applied in many 2D computer visions to approximate the volume of axisymmetric food products. These methods were less in accuracy, since it used piecewise linear function to approximate the boundary of the object. This paper aims to propose a new framework for measuring the volume of axisymmetric food product based on cubic spline interpolation. Cubic spline interpolation is employed to construct a piecewise continuous polynomial of the boundary of object from captured image. The polynomial is then integrated to approximate the volume of the object. The simulation result shows that the proposed framework produced accurate volume measurement result.

Investigation of PV balancer architectures on practical solar photo voltaic system 实用太阳能光伏系统平衡器结构研究

In this paper, a trending concept of module-integrated converter called as photovoltaic (PV) balancers is presented and verified on a practical data of solar PV system. This concept enables the maximum power point tracking for each module, which historically reduces the requirements for traditional power converters and significant economical impact on overall configuration of solar PV systems. In order to demonstrate the performance of the two possible architectures of PV balancers validated on a practical photovoltaic system and compared with the traditional module integrated converter presented in the literature. Thus, the obtained simulation results with PV balancers are superior in terms of power loss, rating, efficiency, regulation, and voltage stress on switching device.
本文提出了光伏平衡器这一模块集成转换器的发展趋势,并通过太阳能光伏系统的实际数据进行了验证。这一概念实现了每个模块的最大功率点跟踪,从而减少了对传统电源转换器的要求,并对太阳能光伏系统的整体配置产生了重大的经济影响。为了证明在实际光伏系统上验证的两种可能的光伏平衡器架构的性能,并与文献中提出的传统模块集成转换器进行比较。因此,所获得的PV平衡器的仿真结果在功率损耗、额定值、效率、调节和开关器件电压应力方面都具有优势。

Parallelized GA-PSO algorithm for solving Job Shop Scheduling Problem 求解作业车间调度问题的并行GA-PSO算法

One of the classic problems in NP-class is Job-Shop Scheduling Problem (JSP). It is obvious that neither brute force nor greedy algorithm is suitable for this kind of problem. Researchers have proposed many approaches to tackle JSP, which are mainly metaheuristic manners. One advantageous property of the metaheuristic algorithm is that it has the parallelizable nature. This paper proposes another GA-PSO algorithm, which implements it in both parallel and non-parallel modes. The parallel portion is taken care by CUDA programming. Experiments show that compared to original GA, the GA-PSO gives 4.58% better solution and 2.43 times faster in average; while Parallelized GA-PSO speed gives 2.79 and 5.44 times faster than that in 80×80 size GA-PSO problem with 50 and 100 particles respectively.

Thai text topic modeling system for discovering group interests of Facebook young adult users 用于发现Facebook年轻成人用户群体兴趣的泰国文本主题建模系统

Facebook is the largest digital social network in the world, and is the most popular social network in Thailand. This paper proposes Thai text topic modeling system that turns Facebook posts into valuable users' group interests. Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) for topic modeling, if applied directly on Thai text posts, does not capture well the group interests due to unique characteristics of the data like intentional typo. The main contributions of the paper include the integration of Thai slangs from posts for extracting Thai words, insertion and stop words removal, slang stemming, and applying LDA for seed word acquisition and topic modeling enhancement. The experiments performed on Thai Facebook posts of undergraduate student volunteers at Assumption University was used to demonstrate feature size reduction, model enhancement, and discovery of meaningful group interests.

Wireless communication with batching method based on Xbee-PRO S2B module for sensing of wind speed 基于Xbee-PRO S2B模块的无线通信批处理风速传感

Measurements of wind energy from rural areas play an important role in mapping the wind energy potential. It takes a reliable communication from sensor to server. Technique of wireless data transmission from the sensors are placed in rural areas to the server, often in trouble caused by the weather and the system so that it makes the data collected in the server becomes inaccurate, on the further condition, it is causes the lack of proper decision. This study focused on the implementation of the equation for the batching process as a fundamental coding program in the process of capture and transmission data captured from the sensors to the host node node. Communication performance testing occured on node to node (N2N) wireless communications. Data measurement variable are the wind speed, temperature and humidity. The distance between the sensor node and the server node at 100 meters. From this research, that the data generated are measured in one day from the sensor node was successfully changed in the form of 3 packages stored in the memory card is then sent to the host node. Results capture of sensor nodes during the day, which is placed in the environment of the University Siliwangi Tasikmalaya in West Java of Indonesia, to show that the highest wind speed is 5 (m/s) is at noon is 13:00 to 15:00, while the lowest rate is in the morning is 4:00 until 6:00.

Marker-based tracking using temporal coherence in computer facial animation system 计算机面部动画系统中基于时间一致性的标记跟踪

High demand on the productivity of the animation industry in Indonesia requires a change in the existing production process. Motion capture technology is the implementation of a computer vision principle to adopt the human eye senses to understand the phenomenon of motion results from a camera and mapped the virtual movement patterns. This paper will discuss a method for tracking marker features in the human face to obtain information about facial expressions. The tracking technique is using implementation of temporal coherence principle. This research assumes that using temporal coherence approach, the tracking process in sequential images can be simplified by calculating similarity on markers in each frame. The results show this feature-tracking process have reliable results to handle a lot of frames. Computation used very efficiently and cheap because it does not require a learning process in advance. The precision accuracy of tracking parameters generated a database of good visual expression.

Web based fuzzy expert system for lung cancer diagnosis 基于Web的肺癌诊断模糊专家系统

Currently, cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide. One of the most common causes of cancer death are lung cancer. We implemented a lung cancer detection using Sugeno Fuzzy Logic method. We use PHP to construct a website based of an expert system and MySQL for our database collection. The source of our data used to build the expert system are collected from many literature studies related to medical books and interviews with the doctors or physicians to assemble 5 different variables that we use as input. The variables are anamnesis, doubling time, the degree of the smokers, age and performance status. The result of expert system's diagnoses produce three assumptions, (i) no tumor is indicated, (ii) tumor is indicated but benign and (iii) malignant tumors are indicated. The designs of this system are expected to help doctors and physicians to aid them in making a diagnosis of lung cancer.

This research aims to implement Triple Exponential Smoothing Methods (Winter) with the control parameters of alpha, beta, and gamma through techniques initialization data history with the smallest value of Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). The time series data used from Kereta Api Indonesia Ltd. (PT KAI) Bandung Indonesia between 2006 and 2014 for the Argo Wilis, Turangga, Mutiara Selatan, Pasundan, and Kahuripan trains. The results of this study indicate that for the data fifth train fleet has a pattern of non-stationary fluctuating trend. Initialization of the most well done to the data is one year to produce optimal MAPE. The results of forecasting with Triple Exponential Smoothing Methods (Winter) generally have good accuracy, namely Argo Wilis is 86.60, Turangga is 70.13, Mutiara Selatan is 85.16, Pasundan 90.87, and Kahuripan 88.47 percent. In general, the accuracy of forecasting that is used quite well.

An empirical evaluation of ERP values using RBV approach in Indonesia 利用RBV方法对印尼ERP价值的实证评价

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) value relates to the extent to which its investment have created value for an organization. The issues of ERP value are how to define and to measure ERP value. Therefore, the objectives of this research are not only to develop a model for ERP value but also to define and to measure ERP value in the post-implementation stage. Using the Resource-Based View (RBV) approach, ERP resources, organizational capabilities and organizational core competencies of ERP system have been identified as three key capabilities for ERP value creation based on the literature review. The results of this research are the measurement of ERP value from three organizations in Indonesia and the indication that ERP resources, organizational capabilities and organizational core competencies of ERP system have an effect on ERP value. This research could be a trigger for organizations to get ERP value.

Critical success factors for the internet technology adoption by SMEs and its impact for the performance 中小企业采用互联网技术的关键成功因素及其对绩效的影响

this study has three purposes. The first one is to examine the effect of size of enterprise on the extent to which internet technology assimilates into the daily operations of the enterprise. Second, the study is to examine the effect of the critical success factors on the adoption of internet technology, and the last is to examine the effect of adoption of internet technology on the performance of the enterprise. One hundred and thirteen Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) of batik in Pekalongan, Central Java Province was chosen as a sample of this study. Data for this study are collected using questionnaire and personal interviews. Then, the data from the questionnaire were analyzed with Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). This study found that the critical success factor for adoption of internet technology is different between small enterprises and medium enterprises. The impact of adoption of internet technology for the performance of enterprise is higher in the medium size of enterprise than in the small size of enterprise.
