The study investigates whether the design of a combined intervention with selfanalysis of re-contextualized sample texts and subsequent peer interactions might be promising in supporting writing skills development ofVietnamese EFL students in a virtual environment. A pretest-posttest control group design with switching replications was set up with one experimental condition of the combined intervention and one conventional condition with teacherled analysis of textbook-based samples. Participants included 97 Vietnamese English-majored undergraduate students in the third year in a university in Mekong Delta, Vietnam: 46 studentsin the experimental condition and 51 students in the control condition. Univariate covariance analyses showed that experimental condition had a positive effect on quality of texts. For writing fluency, students of the experimental condition wrote longer texts in the second panel (posttest 2); the effect could not be seen immediately in the first panel (posttest 1). Implications for EFL writing pedagogy and research, includingresearch planning to avoid the effect of topic on quality of writing, importance of writing topics relevant to L2 student writers, and organization of prewriting sessions are discussed in the last part of the paper.

The study was conducted to survey and analyze the level of aesthetic perception through Thanh Giong and The Legend of Ho Guom - the two 6th grade folktales. The study involved the participation of 138 pupils and 6 teachers teaching 6th grade Literature at Cang Long Ethnic Minority Boarding and Huyen Hoi Secondary School in Cang Long District, Tra Vinh Province, Vietnam. In this study, group discussion and role-playing pedagogy were the two methods utilized combining the Rubric technique to evaluate the experimental results. Theresults showed that there is a positive change in students’ aesthetic perception ability when using the active learning method with pre-test score is 5.9, and post-test score is 8.0 for the story of Thanh Giong. As for The Legend of Ho Guom, the pre-test score is 6.4, and 8.1 for the posttest score. These results contribute to motivating teachers to improve teaching methods, enhance the quality of transmission, and develop aestheticcompetence for 6th grade students through teaching and learning folktales in particular as well as in teaching and learning the subject of Literature in general.

The aim of this study was to develop the technological process of making herbal tea bags from orange peels. In order to achieve this purpose, the effects of blanching, drying conditions, and mixing ratio of orange peels, green tea, and stevia were examined. The results showed that orange peel blanched in hot water at 80oC for 6 minutes helps to retain the green color and has high sensory value. Upon being dried at 70oC for 210 minutes, the total polyphenol content is 420.69 mg GAE/g dry weight with a final moisture content of 9%. With the mixing ratio of 70% orange peel, 25% green tea, and 5% stevia, the product has the highest sensory value-specifically color (3.84), flavors (4.07), tastes (3.61), and sweetness (3.92) -and with total polyphenols of 516.51 mgGAE/g dry matter and antioxidant activity of 119.18%.

Schedule delays in construction projects are a common occurrence and have a significant impact on the overall project duration. Plentiful delay analysis techniques have been proposed and utilized to resolve these issues. The total float management method is widely accepted and considered the most fundamental approach as it effectively resolves four major delay issues and measures float consumption. However, current delay analysis techniques have often overlooked the allocation of float and resources, which can remarkably affect the determination of delay responsibilities for involved parties. This study aims to enhance the total float management approach by intensively incorporating float and resource loading considerations before delayanalysis implementation. The research methodology includes an extensive literature review, identification of crucial issues related to schedule delays arising from the lack of resource and total float allocation, and the application of enhanced total float management under float and resource loading through a case study for test validation. The research findings provide transparent insights into delay liability considering both time delays and float consumption and emphasize the importance of float and resource allocation in the early stages of construction projects for a consensus before analyzing and assigning delay responsibilities. Future studies could focus on legalizing the procedural considerations of float ownership and resource allocation in contractagreements.

A research and development study was conducted from September 2020 to April 2023 involving 9 hospitals, 24 district health centers and 319 commune health stations. The main objective of the study was to establish, refine, and update a system for controlling directly transmitted diseases in Ho Chi Minh City, as well as assess its practical implementation. Before the system update, the study identified limitations in disease surveillance, particularly in monitoring cases that were not examined or treated at hospitals. The existing reportingmechanisms also resulted in incomplete disease data, with subpar data quality due to delays and inadequate processing of reported cases. Considering the prevailing circumstances, management requirements and usage needs, the system underwent enhancements and integrated GIS capabilities. This allowed healthcare personnel to swiftly and accurately identify disease cases, determine contacts, establish epidemiological zones, tracetransmission chains, and monitor the implementation of control measures. The improved control system has been successfully implemented, ensuring effective management of community-based hand, foot, and mouth disease. Additionally, the system demonstrates the potential for broader applicability in managing other directly transmitted diseases.

A study of cercariae and snail composition by morphological analysis method in Hiep Phuoc rice field of Nha Be District, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, was carried out in October 2022 (the wet season) and February 2023 (the dry season). A total of 738 snails were collected, and eight snail species belonging to eight genera and six families were identified. Six snail species were found in the wet season, and seven snail species were found in the dryseason. Only Sermyla tornatella was infected with trematode (cercariae stage), and the prevalence in the dry season (1.4%) was higher than in the wet season (0.9%) (P > 0.05). The other seven snail species were cercariae-free. Four cercariae morphotypes were recovered from Sermyla tornatella, including Transvesotrema cercariae,Pleurolophocercous cercariae, Xiphidio cercaria, and Echinostome cercariae. Further research on snails and their cercariae in other waterbodies should be done in Nha Be District to identify the snail diversity and sources of trematodes to contribute to developing tilapia culture and other fish species with trematode free.

This study proposes a research model of the factors affecting customer satisfaction with the service quality of San Ha Retail Group. The study proposes a service quality measurement model with five factors and 20 observed variables. The study used the method of testing the reliability of the model scale by Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient, the exploratory factor analysis, and the multivariate regression analysis to explore the results of interviews with 130 customers who have used products and services of San Ha Retail Group. The results show that customer satisfaction with the service quality of San Ha Retail Group is influenced by five factors, including empathy, responsiveness, tangibles, reliability, and service capacity. The findings from the research suggest solutions to increase customer satisfaction when using products and services for San Ha Retail Group.
