The Impact of Discrepancies of Job Role and Ethical Principles of Practice on Professional Identity among Social Workers 社会工作者职业角色与实践伦理原则的差异对职业认同的影响

본 연구의 목적은 사회복지사의 역할과 윤리원칙의 기대불일치가 전문직업적 정체성에 미치는 영향을 확인하는 것이다. 이를 위해 서울시 사회복지사 1,338명의 데이터를 사용하여 대응표본 t검정, 독립표본 t검정, IPA분석, 다중회귀분석를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 사회복지사의 역할과 윤리원칙은 둘 다 기대수준과 반영수준의 차이가 유의미하였다. 역할에 대한 IPA분석 결과, 인적자원관리자, 행정가, 업무량관리자, 전문가, 사회변화대행자는 점진개선영역이었다. 윤리원칙에 대한 IPA분석 결과, 전문가다움은 집중노력영역이었고, 연대강화, 사회정의실현, 기술과 사회미디어의 윤리적 사용, 사회참여 향상은 점진개선영역이었다. 다중회귀분석 결과, 역할과 윤리원칙의 기대불일치가 적을수록 전문직업적 정체성은 높게 나타났다. 또한 역할과 윤리원칙의 기대수준이 높을수록 전문직업적 정체성은 높아졌다. 사회복지시설의 사회복지사는 역할 기대불일치와 윤리원칙 기대불일치가 적을수록 전문직업적 정체성이 높아졌다. 사회복지전담공무원은 윤리원칙의 기대불일치가 적을수록 전문직업적 정체성이 높아졌으나, 역할의 기대불일치는 전문직업적 정체성에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 사회복지시설의 사회복지사는 역할과 윤리원칙의 기대수준이 높을수록 전문직업적 정체성이 높아졌으며, 사회복지전담공무원은 윤리원칙의 기대수준이 높을수록 전문직업적 정체성이 높아졌다. 연구결과를 기반으로 사회복지사의 전문직업적 정체성 향상을 위한 정책적 함의를 제시하였다.This study aims to examine the effects of discrepancies of job role and ethical principle of practice on professional identity among social workers. To this end, paired t-test, independent t-test, IPA analysis and multiple regression analysis were conducted using data from a survey of 1,338 social workers in Seoul. The results showed that the differences in expectation and implementation levels were significant for both roles and ethical principles. The IPA analysis of roles indicates that human resource manager, administrator, workload manager, professional and social change agent were included in the area of incremental improvement. The IPA analysis of ethical principles shows that integration was included in the intensive effort area. And strengthening solidarity, promoitng social justice, ethical use of technology and social media, and enhancing social participation were included in the incremental improvement area. Role discrepancy and ethical principle discrepancy were negatively associated with professional identity. Expectation levels of role and ethical principle were positively associated with professional identity. Of the social workers in social service agencies, role discrepancy and ethical principle discrepancy were negatively associated with professional identity. Of the social workers in social service agencies, expectation levels of role and ethical principle were positively associated with professional identity. Of the social workers in local governments, ethical principle discrepancy was negatively associated with professional identity, although role discrepancy was not significantly associated with professional identity. The Effect of Person centered Humanitude Care education program on Person centered Attitudes and Communication of Undergraduates of Social Welfare Department 以人为本的人文关怀教育对社会福利系大学生以人为本态度与沟通的影响

본 연구는 사회복지학과 대학생들의 치매노인 케어 역량 증진을 위해 휴머니튜드 케어 방법을 기반으로 한 인간중심 케어교육 프로그램을 개발하고 그 효과성을 검증하였다. 본 연구는 무작위 대조군(Randomized controlled Trial, RCT) 전후 실험연구이며, 45명의 사회복지학과 대학생이 연구에 참여하였다. 연구자들은 학생들의 언어적(공감, 인간중심 의사소통), 비언어적(인간중심태도) 치매 케어 역량 증진을 위해 휴머니튜드케어 기반 인간중심케어 교육프로그램(320시간)을 개발하였다. 실험군은 휴머니튜드케어 기반 인간중심케어 교육을 제공하였으며, 비교군은 치매증상 및 의사소통 역량 함양을 위한 일반 교육을 제공하였다. 교육프로그램 전후 효과를 확인하기 위해 SPSS 24 통계 프로그램을 사용하여 Paired T test와 Independent sample t-test를 시행하였다. 실험군, 비교군, 두 집단 내 사전-사후비교에서, 실험군의 경우 공감(t=-6.635, p=.000), 인간중심 의사소통(t=-4.961, p=.000), 인간중심태도(t=3.734, p=.001)에서 모두 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 나타냈으나 비교군에서는 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 사후 값에 대한 두 집단 간 차이 검증에서는 인간중심태도가 유의미한 차이가 있었으나(t=2.308, p=.026), 의사소통과 공감의경우 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 치매에 대한 인간중심 태도 역량을 함양하기 위한 교육의 토대를 제시하였다. The Mediating Role of Work-Life Balance in the Relationship between Job Pressure and Depression among Local-Based Platform Workers 工作-生活平衡在本地平台员工工作压力与抑郁关系中的中介作用

국내 플랫폼노동자 수는 코로나19 기간 동안 급격히 증가하여 2022년에 292만 명으로 추산된다. 플랫폼노동은 유연성과 더 나은 소득 창출의 기회를 제공한다는 장점도 있지만 직업 불안정성, 예측할 수 없는 업무 일정, 저임금, 열악한 작업 조건 등 작업 환경의 질 저하를 가져왔다는 비판을 받아왔다. 실제로 플랫폼 배달․운송 노동자는 압도적인 작업량, 근무시간에 비해 과도한 업무, 동시에 처리해야 하는 과다한 업무량 등 직무압박의 강도가 상대적으로 높은데, 이는 일과 삶의 균형을 방해하고, 궁극적으로 플랫폼노동자의 우울로 이어질 수 있다는 점에서 주목할 만한 주제이다. 이에 본 연구는 플랫폼 배달․운송노동자 587명을 대상으로 이들의 특징과 직무압박과 우울의 관계 및 두 변수 간의 관계에서 일과 삶의 균형의 매개효과를 살펴보고 플랫폼노동자의 노동특성으로부터 야기되는 정신건강 문제 개입 근거를 탐색하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 제언으로서 지역사회 정신건강 프로그램, 플랫폼 이동 노동자 지원센터 확충, 가족 동반 휴식을 제안하였다.During the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of platform workers in South Korea increased significantly, reaching an estimated 2.92 million in 2022. Platform work offers advantages like flexibility and enhanced income opportunities, but it has faced criticism due to job instability, unpredictable schedules, low wages, and poor working conditions. Platform delivery and transportation workers, in particular, experience high levels of job pressure, including heavy workloads, long working hours, and handling multiple tasks simultaneously. This can disrupt platform worker’s work-life balance and lead to depression. This study focused on 587 platform delivery and transportation workers. It examined the relationship between job pressure and depression and how work-life balance might mediate this connection. In response to these concerns, the study suggested the implementation of community mental health programs, the expansion of support centers tailored to platform workers, and the establishment of family-inclusive periods of rest. These interventions were proposed as potential ways to address the mental health issues faced by individuals engaged in platform work.

{"title":"The Mediating Role of Work-Life Balance in the Relationship between Job Pressure and Depression among Local-Based Platform Workers","authors":"Soo Kyung Park, Kyung Joo Seo, Young Do Park, Sul So Hee","doi":"10.31409/kjswe.2023.63.99","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.31409/kjswe.2023.63.99","url":null,"abstract":"국내 플랫폼노동자 수는 코로나19 기간 동안 급격히 증가하여 2022년에 292만 명으로 추산된다. 플랫폼노동은 유연성과 더 나은 소득 창출의 기회를 제공한다는 장점도 있지만 직업 불안정성, 예측할 수 없는 업무 일정, 저임금, 열악한 작업 조건 등 작업 환경의 질 저하를 가져왔다는 비판을 받아왔다. 실제로 플랫폼 배달․운송 노동자는 압도적인 작업량, 근무시간에 비해 과도한 업무, 동시에 처리해야 하는 과다한 업무량 등 직무압박의 강도가 상대적으로 높은데, 이는 일과 삶의 균형을 방해하고, 궁극적으로 플랫폼노동자의 우울로 이어질 수 있다는 점에서 주목할 만한 주제이다. 이에 본 연구는 플랫폼 배달․운송노동자 587명을 대상으로 이들의 특징과 직무압박과 우울의 관계 및 두 변수 간의 관계에서 일과 삶의 균형의 매개효과를 살펴보고 플랫폼노동자의 노동특성으로부터 야기되는 정신건강 문제 개입 근거를 탐색하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 제언으로서 지역사회 정신건강 프로그램, 플랫폼 이동 노동자 지원센터 확충, 가족 동반 휴식을 제안하였다.During the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of platform workers in South Korea increased significantly, reaching an estimated 2.92 million in 2022. Platform work offers advantages like flexibility and enhanced income opportunities, but it has faced criticism due to job instability, unpredictable schedules, low wages, and poor working conditions. Platform delivery and transportation workers, in particular, experience high levels of job pressure, including heavy workloads, long working hours, and handling multiple tasks simultaneously. This can disrupt platform worker’s work-life balance and lead to depression. This study focused on 587 platform delivery and transportation workers. It examined the relationship between job pressure and depression and how work-life balance might mediate this connection. In response to these concerns, the study suggested the implementation of community mental health programs, the expansion of support centers tailored to platform workers, and the establishment of family-inclusive periods of rest. 본 연구는 지역아동센터 문화예술교육인 GS리테일․기아대책이 18년간 진행한 ‘무지개상자’사업을 중심으로 사회통합의 가능성을 조명하고, 향후 발전방안을 모색하는 것에 목적을 둔다. 이를 위해 전국 지역아동센터 중 ‘무지개상자’ 문화예술교육을 시행하고 있는 지역아동센터 23개소의 종사자와 아동을 대상으로, 설문을 진행하여 회수된 197개의 응답으로 양적연구를 수행하였다. 분석결과는 첫째, 아동이 평가하는 자기효능감이 종사자가 평가하는 아동의 자기효능감보다 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 아동이 평가하는 학교생활적응이 종사자가 평가하는 학교생활적응 보다 더 긍정적으로 나타났다. 셋째, 무지개상자 참여시간(1회당 교육시간)이 길수록 아동이 지각하는 자기효능감과 자아회복탄력성이 높아졌다. 넷째, 아동 본인의 희망에 의한 참여가 아동의 자기효능감과 자아회복탄력성을 높여주었다. 다섯째, 종사자는 온라인 교육이 아동의 자기효능감, 학교생활적응, 자아회복탄력성을 높이는 것으로 보았으나, 아동은 참여방법을 중요한 영향요인으로 보지 않았다. 이러한 결과를 통해 지역아동센터 문화예술교육이 지역아동센터 아동 발달에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있으며, 저소득층 문화자본 형성에 긍정적인 영향을 실증적으로 밝혀내었다는 점에서 본 연구의 의의가 크다. 본 연구는 기업과 NGO가 협력하여 아동의 문화예술교육을 지속해 온 귀감이 될 만한 사례로, 이를 통해 향후 아동교육에서 문화예술교육의 중요성과 지속성을 제안하였다.This study aims to shed light on the possibilities of social integration and to explore ways to develop it in the future, focusing on the ‘Rainbow Box’ project that GS Retail & KFHI, a cultural education program for local children’s centers, has been implementing for 18 years. This study is an exemplary case where companies and NGOs have cooperated to sustain children’s cultural and artistic education, and it suggests the importance and continuity of cultural and artistic education in children’s education in the future.

The Effects of Flipped Learning in Social Welfare Administration 翻转学习在社会福利管理中的效果

본 연구의 목적은 사회복지교육에 플립드러닝을 적용하고 효과를 분석함으로써 사회복지교육 효과 증진방안을 탐색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 I대학교 사회복지학과 사회복지행정론 교과목에 적용하고 그 효과를 분석하였다. 사전사후 단일집단설계를 기반으로 수집한 자료를 기술통계분석, paired t-test, Wilcoxon test 등 양적분석과 개방형 수업 평가 응답 결과를 질적분석 하였다. 연구 결과, 학생들은 플립드러닝 수업에 만족하며 ‘교과목에 흥미’를 느끼는 등 학습 동기가 향상되었고 ‘내 것을 만들어가는’ 자기주도학습 태도가 형성되고 자기효능감이 유의미하게 증가하였다. 또한 지속적인 소통 과정을 통해 ‘나의 생각을 정리하고 말하는’ 의사소통능력이 유의미하게 향상되었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 사회복지교육 효과 증진방안을 제안하였다.The purpose of this study is to explore on how to improve the effectiveness of social welfare education by analyzing flipped learning effectiveness. For this, Flipped learning was applied to 30 students who took ‘Social Welfare Administration’ subject at I University. Quantitative analysis such as paired sample t-test, Wilcoxon test and descriptive analysis and qualitative analysis of class-evaluation were conducted. The results of this study showed that students were satisfied with Flipped learning and interested in the contents of subject. Self-directed learning attitude, ‘organizing my knowledge’ by class activities was established and self-efficacy was improved. Also communications competency, ‘organize thought then speak’ was improved through team works. From these results, several implications were suggested.

A Qualitative Study on the Experience of Using Employment Support Services for Self-reliance-prepared youth 自立青年就业支持服务使用经验的质性研究

본 연구는 그동안 보호종료아동으로 불리웠던 자립준비청년들이 다양한 취업지원제도와 서비스를 어떻게 경험하고 있는지 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 평균 11년간 보호를 받은 경험이 있는 만18세~24세까지의 16명 자립준비청년들을 인터뷰하였고, 질적사례연구방법으로 수집된 자료를 주제분석방법을 이용하여 15개의 하위 주제, 7개 상위주제, 그리고 3개의 범주로 추출하였다. 그 결과 이들에게 취업지원서비스는 첫째, 자립준비청년의 욕구에 맞지 않는 개별화되지 않은 지원들이 많다고 하였다. 자립준비청년들은 서비스 이용에 필요한 준비가 덜 되었거나 자기개발이 아직 부족하다는 것을 알게 되었다. 지원을 받기위해서 직업을 바꾸는 결정을 내리기도 하였다. 둘째, 자립준비청년의 현실적 생계를 도외시한 지원들로 이용하기 어렵다고 하였다. 보호종료 후 혼자 다해내야 하는 상황에서 자신에게 맞는 서비스를 구별하기 쉽지 않았다. 생계를 유지해나가야 하는 현실에서 서비스를 제때 이용하지 못하기도 하였다. 셋째, 청년들은 시행착오를 겪으면서 다가갈 수 있는 지원들을 스스로 구하게 되었다. 유사한 처지의 경험을 한 동년배들과 상의하고, 선생님이나 전문가들을 만나 자신의 지지망을 만들어갔다. 민간과 공공의 취업정보도 본인의 상황에 맞게 주체적으로 활용하려고 하였다. 향후 자립준비청년들의 현실적 삶에 대한 이해를 기반으로 취업지원체계의 연속성과 통합성을 강화하여 지속가능한 자립을 도울 수 있는 방안을 제언하였다.This study sought to explore how various job support systems and services are being experienced by the self-reliance-prepared youth. To this end, 16 young people aged 18 to 24 with an average of 11 years of care-home experience were interviewed, and seven topics and 15 sub-topics were analyzed in three categories. As a result, employment support services were, first, that there were many unindividualized support that did not meet the needs of the self-reliance-prepared youth. Due to lack of self-development, they should made a decision to change their goals to get the support. Second, that it was difficult to use the realistic livelihood of the youth. It was not easy to distinguish the service that suits their situation where you had to do it all alone. In the reality, the service could not be used on time. Third, through trial and error, the youth have come to seek support to approach themselves. They consulted with his peers who had experienced similar situations and met social workers and experts to create their own support network. Employment information from the private and the public sector was also intended to be used independently according to their situation. Based on an understanding of the realistic lives of the youth, some recommendations were proposed to help sustainable independence by strengthening the continuity and integration of the employment support system.

{"title":"A Qualitative Study on the Experience of Using Employment Support Services for Self-reliance-prepared youth","authors":"Min Young Lee, Won Sun Yu, Jae Hyun Chung, Mee hee Choi","doi":"10.31409/kjswe.2023.63.209","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.31409/kjswe.2023.63.209","url":null,"abstract":"본 연구는 그동안 보호종료아동으로 불리웠던 자립준비청년들이 다양한 취업지원제도와 서비스를 어떻게 경험하고 있는지 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 평균 11년간 보호를 받은 경험이 있는 만18세~24세까지의 16명 자립준비청년들을 인터뷰하였고, 질적사례연구방법으로 수집된 자료를 주제분석방법을 이용하여 15개의 하위 주제, 7개 상위주제, 그리고 3개의 범주로 추출하였다. 그 결과 이들에게 취업지원서비스는 첫째, 자립준비청년의 욕구에 맞지 않는 개별화되지 않은 지원들이 많다고 하였다. 자립준비청년들은 서비스 이용에 필요한 준비가 덜 되었거나 자기개발이 아직 부족하다는 것을 알게 되었다. 지원을 받기위해서 직업을 바꾸는 결정을 내리기도 하였다. 둘째, 자립준비청년의 현실적 생계를 도외시한 지원들로 이용하기 어렵다고 하였다. 보호종료 후 혼자 다해내야 하는 상황에서 자신에게 맞는 서비스를 구별하기 쉽지 않았다. 생계를 유지해나가야 하는 현실에서 서비스를 제때 이용하지 못하기도 하였다. 셋째, 청년들은 시행착오를 겪으면서 다가갈 수 있는 지원들을 스스로 구하게 되었다. 유사한 처지의 경험을 한 동년배들과 상의하고, 선생님이나 전문가들을 만나 자신의 지지망을 만들어갔다. 민간과 공공의 취업정보도 본인의 상황에 맞게 주체적으로 활용하려고 하였다. 향후 자립준비청년들의 현실적 삶에 대한 이해를 기반으로 취업지원체계의 연속성과 통합성을 강화하여 지속가능한 자립을 도울 수 있는 방안을 제언하였다.This study sought to explore how various job support systems and services are being experienced by the self-reliance-prepared youth. To this end, 16 young people aged 18 to 24 with an average of 11 years of care-home experience were interviewed, and seven topics and 15 sub-topics were analyzed in three categories. As a result, employment support services were, first, that there were many unindividualized support that did not meet the needs of the self-reliance-prepared youth. Due to lack of self-development, they should made a decision to change their goals to get the support. Second, that it was difficult to use the realistic livelihood of the youth. It was not easy to distinguish the service that suits their situation where you had to do it all alone. In the reality, the service could not be used on time. Third, through trial and error, the youth have come to seek support to approach themselves. They consulted with his peers who had experienced similar situations and met social workers and experts to create their own support network. Employment information from the private and the public sector was also intended to be used independently according to their situation. 본 연구의 목적은 사회복지시설에 배치된 사회복무요원의 직무와 관련한 핵심역량을 도출하여 사회복무요원의 업무 향상과 서비스의 질적 향상에 기여하기 위함이다. 이를 위해 사회복무요원 378명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고, 복무기관 담당자 11명의 심층면접조사를 종합한 수렴적 평행설계(convergent design)를 수행하였다. 양적연구는 전국 사회복지시설에서 사회복무요원으로 배치된 사회복무요원을 대상으로 역량별 요구수준을 조사한 후 복무기관과 역량별 요구수준을 종합한 구간추정방법을 활용하여 ‘소양 및 태도’에서 3개 역량, ‘사회복지실천 역량’에서 6개 역량, ‘직무수행 역량’에서 4개 역량을 선별 총 13개의 핵심역량을 도출하였다. 질적연구는 사회복지시설에서 사회복무요원 복무 관리를 담당하는 11명의 복무기관 담당자를 대상으로 초점집단인터뷰(Focus Group Interview)를 실시하여 사회복무요원의 직무와 복무 환경변화를 기반으로 주제분석을 통한 핵심역량을 도출하였으며 이를 통해 ‘소양 및 태도’에서 3개 역량, ‘사회복지실천 역량’에서 5개 역량, ‘직무수행 역량’에서 7개 역량이 도출되었다. 본 연구는 사회복지분야의 인적자원으로써 사회복무요원의 역량 향상이 궁극적으로 사회복지시설 및 서비스의 발전에 기여할 수 있다는 점에 주목하여 이들의 핵심역량을 다각적으로 파악하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.The purpose of this study is to develop the core competencies of social service corps working in social welfare facilities, in order to contribute to the enhancement of their work performance and the qualitative improvement of services they provide. To achieve this objective, a mixed methods research approach was employed, involving a survey conducted on 378 social service corps working in social welfare facilities and in-depth interviews with 11 administrative workers responsible for overseeing social service corps. In the first phase, a quantitative study was conducted targeting social service corps working in social welfare facilities nationwide. The study involved the utilization of an interval estimation method that incorporated the requirements demanded by institutions and competencies, and as a result, a total of 13 core competencies were identified. Specifically, 3 competencies were identified within the domain of ‘Disposition and Attitude,’ 6 competencies were identified within the domain of ‘Social Welfare Practice Competencies,’ and finally, 4 competencies were identified within the domain of ‘Job Performance Competencies.’ Subsequently, during the second phase of the qualitative study, the researchers conducted Focus Group Interviews with 11 administrative workers responsible for managing social service corps duties in social welfare facilities. Core competencies were extracted through thematic analysis based on the duties and changing work environment of the social service corps. The results revealed 3 competencies under ‘Cultivated Literacy and Attitude,’ 5 competencies within ‘Social Welfare Practice Competencies,’ and 7 competencies within ‘Job Performance Competencies.’ The significance of this study lies in its comprehensive presentation of outcomes through the incorporation of both quantitative and qualitative methods, involving not only the social service corps that participated in training but also the administrative personnel that supports the performance of social service corps and utilization of the competencies. This study holds valuable implications as fundamental material for the advancement of the training and education system for the social service corps.

Exploring University Students’ Volunteering Preferences through Topic Modeling 通过主题建模探讨大学生志愿服务偏好

본 연구는 본 연구는 대학생의 자원봉사 선호를 수혜 대상, 활동 방법 등 자원봉사 주요 속성을 중심으로 탐색한다. 분석자료는 경기도 소재 4년제 K 대학의 사회봉사 과목 수강생들이 제출한 ‘사회봉사 계획서’ 1,284건을 활용했고, 분석방법은 잠재 디리클레 할당 알고리즘에 기반한 토픽모델링을 적용했다. 분석자료의 내용을 더 정확히 파악하기 위해 형태소 분석, 불용어 제거, 유의어 통일 등의 데이터 전처리 과정을 거쳤다. 분석 결과, ‘아동 돌봄 활동’, ‘청소년 심리․정서 지원 활동’, ‘환경 이슈에 대한 시민 참여 촉진 활동’, ‘노인 디지털 문해력 증진 활동’, ‘장애인 지원 활동’, ‘학생 학습 및 진로 지원 활동’, ‘유기동물 보호 활동’, ‘예술 및 문화 기회 지원 활동’이상 8개 토픽이 도출되었고, 자원봉사 선호에 있어 인문사회계열, 이공계열, 예체능계열 간 차이가 확인되었다. 연구 결과에 기반해 대학의 자원봉사 교육, 대학생 자원봉사 활동의 효과적 운영에 관한 시사점을 제시했다.This study explores the volunteering preferences of university students by identifying key attributes associated with volunteering, such as beneficiaries and methods of participation. The research analyzed 1,284 volunteer plans submitted by students enrolled in the social service course at K University in Gyeonggi-do. Topic modeling was employed, utilizing the latent Dirichlet allocation (LDA) algorithm. To achieve a more nuanced understanding, data preprocessing steps were undertaken, including morphological analysis, elimination of redundant words, and consolidation of synonyms. The analysis revealed eight primary topics: “childcare initiatives,” “emotional and psychological support for youth,” “enhancing civic engagement in environmental matters,” “boosting digital literacy among the elderly,” “support for the disabled,” “support for student learning and career progression,” “stray animal welfare initiatives,” and “promotion of arts and cultural opportunities.” The study also identified distinct volunteering preferences among students majoring in humanities and social sciences, natural sciences and engineering, and arts. Based on these findings, the research provides valuable insights for enhancing university volunteer education and improving the management of student-led volunteer activities.

The influence of parenting attitudes on Multicultural Acceptance in middle school students: Mediating effects of sense of community and school adjustment and multiple group analysis 父母态度对中学生多元文化接受的影响:社区意识和学校适应的中介作用及多群体分析

본 연구는 중학생이 인식한 부모의 양육태도가 다문화 수용성에 미치는 영향과 그 과정에서 공동체의식과 학교생활적응의 직렬매개효과 및 성별 차이를 통해 청소년의 복지향상에 주는 함의를 모색하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 한국아동청소년패널조사(KCYPS 2010) 초1패널데이터의 7차년도(2016) 자료를 활용하였으며, 7차년도 대상자는 중학교 1학년이다. 본 연구의 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부모양육태도는 공동체의식, 학교생활적응에 유의미한 정적인 영향이 있는 반면, 다문화 수용성에는 통계적으로 유의미한 영향이 나타나지 않았다. 둘째, 부모양육태도는 공동체의식을 매개로 다문화 수용성에 정적영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 중학생 청소년이 부모양육태도를 긍정적으로 인식할수록 공동체의식이 높으며, 이는 다문화 수용성을 높이는것을 뜻한다. 셋째, 부모양육태도는 학교생활적응을 매개로 다문화 수용성에 정적영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 다만 남학생은 통계적으로 유의미하였으나, 여학생은 유의미하지 않았다. 이러한 결과는 공동체 의식과 학교생활적응이 부모양육태도와 다문화 수용성의 관계를 매개하여 중학생의 다문화 수용성이 더 높아지는 것을 의미한다. 넷째, 부모양육태도와 다문화 수용성에서 공동체의식과 학교생활적응의 직렬매개효과를 살펴보면, 남학생은 통계적으로 유의미한 정적 영향이 나타났으나, 여학생은 통계적으로 유의미하지 않게 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 초등학교에서 중학교로의 전환 시기에 있는 중학생 1학년 청소년의 다문화 수용성을 향상하기 위한 사회복지, 구체적으로는 청소년복지와 다문화복지의 함의와 개입에 대해 논하였다.The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of parenting attitudes on multicultural acceptance as perceived by middle school students and the multiple mediating effects of sense of community and school adjustment in the process, as well as to explore the implications for improving adolescents' well-being through gender differences. To this end, this study utilized the seventh year data from the first wave of the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey (KCYPS 2010), and analyzed a total of 2,001 middle school students, and found the following results: First, parenting attitudes had a significant positive effect on sense of community and school adjustment, but no statistically significant effect on multicultural acceptance. Second, parenting attitudes had an effect on multicultural acceptance through the mediation of sense of community. Third, parenting attitudes had an effect on multicultural acceptance through the mediation of school adjustment. However, it was statistically significant for boys, but not for girls. Fourth, when we examine the serial mediation of community and school adjustment on parenting attitudes and multicultural acceptance, we find a statistically significant positive effect for boys, but not for girls. Based on these findings, we discussed the implications and interventions for social welfare, specifically youth welfare and multicultural welfare, to improve the multicultural acceptance of middle school students in the transition period from elementary to middle school.
本研究是通过中学生认识的父母养育态度对多文化接纳性的影响和在其过程中共同体意识和适应学校生活的串联媒介效果及性别差异,探索对提高青少年福利的含义。本研究使用了韩国儿童青少年调查(KCYPS 2010)初1面板数据的第7年度(2016)资料,第7年度的对象是中学1年级。本研究的研究结果如下。第一,父母养育态度对共同体意识、适应学校生活有有意义的静态影响,而对多文化接纳性在统计上没有出现有意义的影响。第二,父母养育态度以共同体意识为媒介,对多文化接纳性产生静态影响。也就是说,中学生和青少年对父母养育态度越积极,共同体意识就越高,这就意味着提高多文化的接受性。第三,父母养育态度以适应学校生活为媒介,对多文化接纳性产生静态影响。只是男生在统计上有意义,女生没有意义。这样的结果意味着共同体意识和适应学校生活媒介了父母养育态度和多文化接纳性的关系,中学生的多文化接纳性进一步提高。第四,从父母养育态度和多文化接纳性中共同体意识和适应学校生活的串联媒介效果来看,男生在统计上有意义,女生在统计上有意义。以这样的结果为基础,讨论了为提高从小学到初中转换时期的中学生1年级青少年多文化接受性的社会福利,具体是青少年福利和多文化福利的含义和介入。The purpose of this study is to examine The impact of parenting attitudes on multicultural acceptance as perceived by middle school students and The multiple mediating effects of sense of communityand school adjustment in the process, as well as to explore the implications for improving adolescents' well-being through gender differences。To this end, this study utilized the seventh year data from the first wave of the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey (KCYPS 2010), and analyzed a total of 2000middle school studentsfound the following results:First, parenting attitudes had a significant positive effect on sense of community and school adjustment, but no statistically significant effect on multicultural acceptance。Second, parenting attitudes had an effect on multicultural acceptance through the mediation of sense of community。Third, parenting attitudes had an effect on multicultural acceptance through the mediation of school adjustment。However, it was statistically significant for boys, but not for girls。Fourth, when we examine the serial mediation of community and school adjustment on parenting attitudes and multicultural acceptance, we find a statistically significant positive effect for boys;but not for girls。Based on these findings,我们discussed the implications and interventions for social welfare, specifically youth welfare and multicultural welfareto improve the multicultural acceptance of middle school students in the transition period from elementary to middle school。
