The purpose of this study is to survey the exchange relationship with the preceptor, burnout, and intention to work of new nurses at a university hospital, and to identify the factors influencing the retention intention of new nurses. The participants were 170 nurses from one university hospital located in J province. Data were collected between February 2, 2023 to March 2, 2023 from a self-administered questionnaire and were analyzed using the t-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients and multiple regression analysis with the SPSS 28.0 program. The exchange relationship with the preceptor showed a significant correlation with the intention to stay at work (r=.33, p<.001). Burnout was found to have a significant negative correlation with intention to stay at work (r=-.54, p<.001). Through multiple regression analysis, the factors influencing the subject's intention to stay at work in this model were in the order of burnout (β=-.47, p=.027) and exchange relationship with the preceptor (β=.18, p=.007). The explanatory power of was about 32.9% (F=11.35, p<.001). In order to improve the intention to stay at work of new nurses, various institutional devices should be prepared so that they can continue to work in hospital, and systematic education programs should be developed to reduce burnout.

This study analyzed the co-sponsorship network of media-related bills proposed in the 20th Korean National Assembly to understand the legislative process of media-related law. For this, I analyzed connectivity and network centrality based on co-sponsor attributes. The analysis revealed a clear division in the party affiliation and local constituency of the members who participated in the co-sponsorship. In particular, the division was centered on the two major parties (Democratic Party of Korea (DPK) and United Future Party (UFP)), and the members of the third-party Minsaengdang were mainly close to the DPK members, but some had networks with the UFP members. By region, members from Gyeongsang/Gangwon, and Jeolla were clustered. Honggeun Bak, Woongrae Roh of the DPK and Seang Tae Kim and Heekyung Song of the UFP were ranked high in several centrality indices, suggesting that they played a key roles and exercised influence in the media bill co-sponsorship process based on their party affiliations.

Due to difficulties arising from patient infections, a decline in the number of births, and other factors, clinical education in pediatric nursing has become challenging. Consequently, the demand for simulation-based practical training has been increasing. This study aims to analyze an integrative review of simulation-based pediatric nursing practicum, based on Jeffries’ simulation learning model, and provide foundational data for the development of standardized simulation-based pediatric nursing practice program. Five domestic database serched using the keywords ‘simulation’ and ‘nuring’ to retrieve relevant literature. Out of 744 aricles 14articles that met the driteria of this study were analyzed using descriptive statistics. In the research findings, 78.6% utilized high-fidelity simulators for education, with 45.5% of these incorporating standardized patients. Only 14.3% of the studies reported that instructors had completed simulation education training. Operating and debriefing times varied widely, ranging from 10 to 90 minutes. The most frequently measured learning outcome was 'nursing performance ability,' with 92.9% of the studies assessing the cognitive domain, and 42.9% evaluating all cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. The results of the study suggest that in the future, numerous randomized controlled trials should be conducted to actively derive a foundation for the design of pediatric nursing simulation education programs.

This study conducted a comparative analysis of dementia care policies in Seoul and Qingdao. The findings reveal distinct characteristics in the funding systems of both regions. Seoul's funding mechanism is marked by the challenge of escalating national financial obligations, while Qingdao's system is characterized by the absence of national contributions and the marginalization of low-income demographics. To establish a more effective and stable funding framework, this study synthesizes the commonalities and disparities between these two systems via a comparative examination and proposes enhancement strategies. Looking ahead, the Seoul Metropolitan Government should allocate dedicated budgets for dementia care to individual local administrations, thus reducing the reliance on central government contributions. Meanwhile, Qingdao City should consider implementing insurance premium collection schemes and extending financial aid to fundamental local governing bodies. These actions are imperative to address the growing financial burdens on both the government and citizens, ultimately elevating the budget allocation for enhanced care service quality.

Jeju and Okinawa are being studied in various academic fields, but studies on the two islands are rare as healthy longevity cities. At this point in Korea, where the super-aged society is in front of us, the two cities were compared and analyzed to build a city that enjoys a healthier and more vibrant old age. The purpose of this study is to derive the common factors and their implications of the two cities and provide us with basic information to prepare for a super-aged society that is perceived as vague anxiety. To achieve this, basic research and exploratory research methods were adopted, and the two cities were compared and analyzed using a synchronic approach and diachronic approach to identify the factors of health longevity. Due to the synchronic approach, the natural environment (island, climate, landscape, and regimen) was significantly different from the mainland, and the climate warm enough to develop the tourism industry by utilizing it produced optimistic residents. History (4.3 Uprising in the middle of the 20th century, Battle of Okinawa) was analyzed using a synchronic approach, which also had a modern history that was not experienced on the mainland. In addition, as a cultural factor, there was a similarity in experiencing a cooperative community culture. In order to prepare for an age-friendly future, more in-depth research is required in various fields. Basically, considering humans in the environment, there must be an attempt to approach the environment by integrating the environment of history and cooperative community culture in addition to the physical environment (nature, regimen, climate, geography) and social environment (local participation, exchange, social activities).

A quantum chemical studies were conducted on nicotine, nornicotine, anabasine, arecholine, ricinine, cotinine, -nicotrine, anatabine and myosmine molecules, which are alkaloids derived from or related to nicotine acid, using ab initio methods. As a result, we have proposed a molecular electrostatic potential diagram in the form of a 3D mapped isosurface and a net charge of molecules, which predict or proposed a specific reaction site. The average electrodonating power obtained by the frontier energy of alkaloid molecules was 1.173171, which was larger than the average electroaccepting power of 0.599333. Protonation reactions at specific reaction sites predicted for alkaloid molecules showed that the changes in free energy and enthalpy ranged from -149.257 to -655.769 kJ/mol and -140.970 to -657.806 kJ/mol, respectively and were spontaneous and exothermic reactions. The data and methodology of the research results are expected to be useful for future research on alkaloids.
