: The development of computer technology that is in line with the human will to facilitate daily work, this gave rise to the idea of being able to develop inventions to be used both individually and in groups as part of an agency/institutional organization. In recent years, automatic identification (Auto-ID) procedures have become very popular especially in campus and industrial environments; contactless identification has developed into an independent interdisciplinary field, which is no longer suitable for the use of any (conventional) single-discipline focus. The RFID technology in this case is a discipline of several elements from very diverse disciplines: databases, RF and EMC technology, semiconductor technology, data protection and cryptography, telecommunications, manufacturing technology

: SHM systems have been widely implemented in long-span bridges, and seas of field measurement data have been accumulated. Due to the imperfect sensors, data transmission and acquisition, various anomalies inevitably exist in the SHM data, which may lead to unreliable structural condition assessment. Thus, an effective approach for detecting data anomalies is highly desirable. Due to the imbalanced data, some anomalous patterns are undertrained in popular end-to-end deep neural network models, resulting in a reduction in detection precision. In this paper, a hierarchical classification model with deep neural network tree is proposed for imbalanced data. The DNN tree contains three levels: (1) CNN to divide seven types of data into four categories (134, 2, 5, 67), denoted as C4; (2) two DNNs to classify to two classes separately (1, 34, 6, 7), denoted as D2D2; (3) DNNs to classify to two classes (3, 4). So, the DNN tree is presented as C4_D2D2_D2. The DNN tree is an open framework and can be defined based on the data characteristics. In the data processing, three data sets are built for training, namely single-channel data set, dual-channel data set and statistical data set. To validate our work, we considered the effects of balanced and imbalanced training sets and training ratios. The results show that our model can detect the multi-pattern anomalies of SHM data efficiently with 95.5% high accuracy. Besides, the proportion of abnormal data classified to normal data has been reduced, especially 3-minor. This model successfully solves the problem in a simple and easy to understand way, which has certain reference significance for the bridge structure anomaly judgment in the future.

: Collection development is often employed to serve as an umbrella term covering activities like selection, acquisition and deselection. The article contains a literature review of papers discussing the collection development curriculum in library and information science programs, expected skills required of collection development offices, and library training programs for new librarians. The study also discusses collection development as a panacea for promoting efficient use of library resources in academic libraries. Many factors have to be taken into consideration while developing the quality suite for the benefit of the users. These factors include societal analysis, policy, and acquisition of options, stock evaluation, and disposal of unrelated resources. It is important to evaluate to see how well the materials meet current needs and how likely they are to continue to meet the needs of current and future users. Authors conclude that librarians need to exercise the utmost care in developing a balanced collection that enhances the quality of academic libraries effective use of resources by the client.

: Library service through mobile technology is a recent trend in library service. Mobile technology and its development have given rise to the excitement of faculty and student fraternity. This type of infrastructure needed by libraries to provide such services. The awareness about technologies like Mobile based services, Augmented Reality, Gamification, Internet of Things applications. The method opted for the study is descriptive and the tool used for collecting information is web survey. Literature related to emerging trends in libraries was collected from similar projects and other related articles from web. The project was started by analysing the technological developments in various libraries, kinds and new trends that emerged recently. Relevant data regarding the topic is also collected from scholarly publications and online databases to review the benefits, usage and the importance of emerging technology trends in libraries. This topic deals with new developments and techniques that are evolving in libraries. Some of the new trends are identified in this work. The limitation of the study is that, as many innovations are being introduced and also developed, only a selected number of technologies are included in the study.

Library is a service oriented institution. Therefore, as a head of library, beside hard skill, Librarian must have a soft skill to provide quality services to its stakeholders and through it to give better performance. This article is a result of study conducted in the institutions of higher education in Western Vidarbha of Maharashtra state in India to determine attributes of soft skills required by the Librarians to manage Libraries effectively and smoothly and also to examine the attributes of the soft skills in Librarians. The soft skill performance was studied in view of stakeholders such as Principal, Teachers and Students. Questionnaires were distributed in the institutions located in five districts which come under Western Vidarbha and affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University. From each institute 5 teachers and 10 students were identified for the study and were asked to rate soft skill performance of Librarian of their respective institute. The results showed that there is no significant difference in soft skill performance of Librarians working in Rural and Urban area in Western Vidarbha region. Also the study concluded with a say that there is positive correlation between the soft skill performance of Librarians according to stakeholders and soft skills expectation of all the stakeholders from librarian are same. On the basis of the result come out from this study, at the end, the authors have given some suggestions to improve the soft skill performance of Librarians working in higher education.

Nowadays the field of information retrieval is quickly developing. Research on the human-computer interactions and designing of the interface is likely to lead to better results and greater empowerment for users and creators of information. One of the main and special issues related to the relationship between humans and computers in information storage and retrieval systems is the problem of accurate and correct information retrieval based on the user's information needs, due to there are still many false drops in the user's retrievals, although have the many advances come in this field. On the other hand, the human-computer interface environment is not well understood, compared to other forms of information retrieval, due to the complexity of human perception and detection compared to computer systems and the more difficult the detection and measurement of human motives and behaviors. In this paper, after reviewing the information storage and retrieval systems and their various evaluation metrics, the issue of the false drop and its effect on the human-machine interactions is discussed and finally, some solutions are presented. The principles of user interface design, providing informative feedback, reducing working memory load, providing alternative interface environments for novice and skilled users and visualizing information are among the proposed solutions of the present study.
