This study aimed at checking the range of activating real evaluation tools by First Basic Elementary Stage teachers in addition to the difficulties they face in implementing them in the directorates of Education in Jenin, Qabatia and Tubas. The researcher has used questionnaire as a research tool, and the study sample composed 30% of the study community size. Moreover, she implemented the descriptive approach as it is suitable for the study aims as well as adopting Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) to analyze the collected data. The study findings have shown that the range of activating real evaluation tools by teachers was medium as well as the existence of a number of obstructions that have faced teachers while implementing such tools. The most salient of these were building and activating real evaluation tools. Additionally, the findings have revealed that there were no differences of statistical significance in the degree of activating real evaluation tools by teachers attributed to the variable of gender and years of experience of teachers. However, there were some differences in building and activating such tools among teachers attributed to the variable of scientific qualification for the favor of the holders of qualifying diploma, Master's degree and PhD. The researcher has recommended a number of recommendations that can overcome such obstructions that encounter teachers in building and implementing such real evaluation tools. The most salient of which were the necessity to train teachers how to build and use real evaluation tools in addition to decreasing teachers' weekly load of lessons in order to enable them to implement these tools.

The study aimed to employ the strategy of knowledge journeys with the flavor of the Palestinian novel in physics, and to present proposals and recommendations based on the results of this study. The problem of the study was represented by the question: What is the degree of relative importance of employing the strategy of cognitive journeys with the flavor of the Palestinian novel in physics? What are the possible suggestions for that? Use the descriptive analytical method. The study population consisted of physics teachers and students for the tenth and eleventh scientific grades. Whereas the sample was random and stratified, as it numbered (21) male and female physics teachers from Bethlehem governmental schools. The study tool is a questionnaire consisting of three axes and the design of knowledge trips through (Web Quest). One of the most important findings of the researcher was that there are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the averages of the degree of relative importance of employing the cognitive journeys strategy with the flavor of the Palestinian novel in physics, due to the gender variable in favor of males. There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the averages of the relative importance of employing the strategy of cognitive journeys with the flavor of the Palestinian novel in physics due to the grade variable in favor of the scientific eleventh. The most important recommendation is that the Palestinian Curriculum Committee should reconsider publishing the Palestinian novel. Developing students' positive attitudes towards physics. Enhancing many skills such as research, exploration and criticism, in addition to linking scientific and national knowledge through induction competitions in this field. Keywords: Cognitive Journeys - Cognitive Journeys Strategy - Palestinian Novel – Physics.

The current study aimed at identifying the training needs for science teachers, high basic stage in the field of scientific labs at schools in Hebron Governorate. The study also aimed at specifying the role of some chosen changes for these needs. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher designed a questionnaire to introduce the needs, and divided them into five domains. These fields were made up of 44 items. The results of the study showed that the training needs for teachers at the instrument were high, and as for the five domains, they were as follows according to their importance. Training needs for safety conditions were in the first place, training needs for carrying out activities in the lab was in the second place, the needs of methods and techniques inside the lab were in the third place, the training needs for planning the lesson were in the fourth place, the need for evaluating students inside the lab were in the last place. But the results of the study have demonstrated no statistically differences at the level of significance (α ≤0.05) in teachers' estimates on the training needs which are hence attributed to the variables (directorate, specialization, academic qualification, years of experience and Number of courses in the laboratory field). The study also recommended, based on the results, the importance of training teachers according to their needs by making specialized training courses in the lab field, doing committees at the level of directorates to follow up the training needs continuously in order to improve the needed skills.

The study also recommended, based on the results, the importance of training teachers according to their needs by making specialized training courses in the lab field, doing committees at the level of directorates to follow up the training needs continuously in order to improve the needed skills.","PeriodicalId":503534,"journal":{"name":"ARID International Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities","volume":"8 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139359267","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study aimed to find out the difficulties that primary-stage teachers face in designing and implementing procedural research and to identify differences according to the variables of the study (sex, educational qualification, and years of experience). To achieve the aim of the study, the researchers adopted the analytical descriptive approach. The study sample consisted of (203) primary-stage teachers in the northern governorates of Palestine. The study tool (questionnaire) was randomly distributed to the study sample. The results of the study showed that the arithmetic means of the estimates of the study sample as a whole was (3.64), with an average rating, and the field of "academic difficulties" ranked first, with an arithmetic mean of (3.75), and a high level, while the field of "personal difficulties" came in the last rank, with an arithmetic average. reached (3.14), an average level, the results of the study also showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the primary stage teachers’ estimates of the difficulties they faced in designing and implementing procedural research due to the variables (sex, educational qualification), and the presence of statistically significant differences on the variable (years of experience) and the differences appeared in favor of a category (from 5-less than 10 years), and a category (15 years or more), based on the results, the study recommended reducing the quorum of the primary stage teacher and his teaching burden, providing him with material and moral incentives, encouraging teachers to carry out procedural research through defining the distinguished ones, working on publishing them in specialized scientific journals, presenting them in conferences and seminars, and preparing training programs for primary stage teachers’ to design and implement procedural research.
