Influencer marketing (IM) is growing in popularity, and many advertisers intend to either start using influencers or utilize them more regularly in their media combinations. Despite the expansion in this field, there remains a lack of academic or strategic insights pertinent to influencers. Our goal in doing this bibliometric analysis is to assess the global trends in IM domain from 2011 to 2022 based on publication output, co-occurrence, co-citation, co-authorship analysis, country collaboration maps, tree map and a three-field plot analysis. The present study included 560 articles for study from the Scopus database. BiblioShiny and VOSviewer packages are used for the analysis. To offer further context, we explore various charts, tables and diagrams in this research that include the publishing year, leading authors, journals, countries collaborations and author keywords. A qualitative analysis is conducted on the top 20 documents based on their times cited per year (TCpY). The result indicates that the number of publications is continuously increasing in the field of IM. This bibliometric analysis offers a complete overview of the subject and advises researchers conducting IM research to concentrate on current issues to add new data and insights to the literature.

Workplace spirituality has received widespread acceptance among scholars and practitioners due to its value-laden approach in all organizations. Despite substantial efforts to unite the literature, scholarly knowledge on workplace spirituality appears scattered and incoherent. The study aims to undertake a scoping review of the existing literature on workplace spirituality to track the evolution of the concept and point out the research gaps for future studies. The sample papers for review are assembled from the SCOPUS database using a two-step manual screening procedure. This article examines 135 conceptual, review and empirical works associated with more than 50 journals published between 2000 and 2023. The main finding is that the concept of workplace spirituality is complex, with conflicting dimensions, and lacks a clear definition. Workplace spirituality is a multifaceted construct comprising individual, organizational, psychological and social variables. The assessment provides an in-depth understanding of the current state of workplace spirituality. In addition, we offer potential research gaps which will serve as a beacon of light for future workplace spirituality research.

Organizations are now more skill-driven due to global competition and environmental volatility. As a result, finding the right talent for the needed position has been less important than in recent times. Traditional recruiting methods must meet the changing demands of recruiting the best-matched candidates. Therefore, incorporating digital solutions in recruitment and selection is an urgent necessity to thrive in the market. Digital recruitment tools, such as psychometric testing, gamification, video interviewing and applicant tracking systems can improve the function of recruitment and selection. However, a synopsis of this is still undermined. Considering the availability of the research gap, a systematic review, using an advanced convergent qualitative meta-integration method, is conducted to map the digital recruitment tools. A significant 23 research studies published in different reputable journals published from 2006 to 2022 were selected. The meta-integration review enlightened future directions that may help the beneficiaries to analyse and improvize the recruitment process.

Investor sentiment is the irrational belief of investors leading to over and under-reaction of stock return. Though scholarly works are growing expeditiously in this domain, there is no consensus on the impact of investor sentiment on stock return in different markets. Given the paucity of literature in terms of a summary overview of the nexus between investor sentiment and stock return, this study aims to bridge this gap by re-examining investor sentiment’s impact on stock return in the global context. A total of 108 articles were retrieved from the Scopus database spanning from 2000 to 2022. To review the articles, the study employs Scientific Procedure and Rationales for Systematic Literature Review (SPAR-4-SLR) approach. The review reveals that there exists a significant positive effect during the short run. Furthermore, trading volume, social media, initial public offerings, consumer confidence, and closed-end fund discount are found to be the most frequently used proxies for investor sentiment. The review suggests investors to exercise caution while making short-term investment decisions due to strong sentiment-return relations in the short run. The study findings help policymakers and regulators to play a vital role during abnormal market conditions such as market crashes, financial crises and pandemic situations.

This article builds a theoretical and research framework by identifying numerous behavioural biases in investing decision-making through a survey of research publications in the field of behavioural finance. It outlines some of the early research that helped establish behavioural finance as a field of study and shows how it has developed through time. The purpose of the article is to carry a systematic review of the literature on heuristic biases, namely overconfidence, representativeness, anchoring, availability and gambler’s fallacy influencing stock market investment decisions, identifying the major gaps in the existing studies on behavioural biases. It also aims to raise specific questions for future research. In the present study, systematic literature review (SLR) technique has been employed. By looking at the research’s year of publication, the journal of publishing, the country of study, the type of study and the statistical methods employed, one can determine the relevance of the study. On the basis of keyword searches for ‘behavioural finance’ in various published journals, conference proceedings, working papers and some other published publications, the research papers are analysed. For the purpose of creating this article, research papers from the earliest studies (1970) to the most recent publications (2022) have been gathered over a period of years. The study also highlights some of the most recent research carried out in this area. The current study is based on 131 selected research papers that were published in reputable journals between 1970 and 2022. A significant portion of the body of literature on behavioural biases highlights the dearth of this type of study in emerging nations; increase in the number of studies after behavioural finance was applied to investment decision-making, the predominance of empirical research; the widespread use of regression analysis; the prevalence of studies on overconfidence bias and the dearth of studies on availability bias and gamblers fallacy. To the best of the authors’ knowledge, the article is a pioneering work in the field of behavioural finance to employ SLR method for a considerable span of time (1970–2022) and to evaluate all the heuristic biases involved in investment decision-making. The present research study is an integration of SLR and bibliometric analysis. The publications’ patterns have been revealed, and the relationships between different types of literature have shed information on the direction that further research should go in.

This article examines the differences in health infrastructural availability in West Bengal. Furthermore, the study looks at the pattern of communicable and non-communicable diseases in the six different regions of the state. It measures and analyses the disparities through the lens of demand and supply gaps in healthcare. The trends, patterns and distribution of various diseases were captured through the NSS unit-level data from 60th and 71st rounds. The study shows that inter-regional and inter-district differences in health infrastructure are striking in West Bengal. The state’s health infrastructure lags behind the national average. The average population served per rural health facility in North Bengal as well as West Bengal is quite high compared to national figures. Similarly, the population served per hospital bed in North Bengal is also substantially higher in comparison to other regions. The inadequacy of hospital beds is one of the major obstacles in reducing the burden of disease in the region. The results for the distribution of diseases of inpatient cases show that the burden of communicable diseases in North Bengal is relatively higher than the other regions in both rounds of NSS. The inpatient cases of water- and food-borne infectious diseases like gastrointestinal diseases are considerably high in North Bengal.

Understanding the mechanisms through which consumers make purchase decisions towards edible bird’s nest (EBN) products is critical for producers of EBN products to trigger sales of this specialty and boost the enormous potential of the EBN industry. This study is one of the first to expand the conventional theory of planned behaviour (TPB) model by incorporating perceived quality, perceived value, willingness to pay, resistance to change and mindfulness into the conventional TPB model to enhance its robustness and better predict the purchase intention of consumers for EBN products. The data was collected from 240 consumers in Vietnam. The results show that subjective norms, perceived behavioural control, perceived quality, perceived value and willingness to pay exert significant impacts on the purchase intention of consumers for EBN products. Resistance to change and mindfulness indirectly influence the purchase intention through willingness to pay.

Consumer decision-making has been examined extensively by both marketers and researchers. This examination is not only instrumental in identifying market challenges and opportunities but also in strategizing to address these profitably. This particular study aims to fill such a research void by exploring and analysing the factors that contribute to understanding consumer decision-making styles, specifically in the context of online apparel shopping among Indian Generation Y consumers. A sample of 335 Generation Y consumers was surveyed, and exploratory factor analysis was carried out using SPSS 26 to identify the dominant decision-making styles. Following this, confirmatory factor analysis was performed using SPSS AMOS to validate the existence of the model. The outcomes of this study indicate that the decision-making styles of Generation Y are significantly influenced by multiple factors including website quality consciousness, hedonic and incentive motivations, societal and external circumstances, as well as novelty orientation and impulsiveness.

The alternative method for predicting credit ratings by employing bankruptcy prediction models is the main subject of the present article. Rating agencies utilize an extremely intricate rating methodology, which differs from agency to agency, and the ratings given by agencies are less reliable in anticipating short-term defaults and react slowly to credit events, as demonstrated by the failure of agencies during the crisis of 2008. Both credit rating assignment and bankruptcy prediction focused on the probability of default, but the methodology used by the two varies significantly: corporate bankruptcy prediction models predict the future default probability of a company as a whole, whereas credit rating only access the default risk associated with a specific instrument. Therefore, it is preferable to employ bankruptcy prediction algorithms to access a company’s future ratings. The present study used Altman’s framework in order to assess whether bankruptcy prediction models can be applied to access a company’s future ratings in advance or not and found that it can be used as an alternative method to predict the future credit ratings, which can be used by investors and banks to make better investment and lending decisions.

Rating agencies utilize an extremely intricate rating methodology, which differs from agency to agency, and the ratings given by agencies are less reliable in anticipating short-term defaults and react slowly to credit events, as demonstrated by the failure of agencies during the crisis of 2008. Both credit rating assignment and bankruptcy prediction focused on the probability of default, but the methodology used by the two varies significantly: corporate bankruptcy prediction models predict the future default probability of a company as a whole, whereas credit rating only access the default risk associated with a specific instrument. Therefore, it is preferable to employ bankruptcy prediction algorithms to access a company’s future ratings. The present study used Altman’s framework in order to assess whether bankruptcy prediction models can be applied to access a company’s future ratings in advance or not and found that it can be used as an alternative method to predict the future credit ratings, which can be used by investors and banks to make better investment and lending decisions.","PeriodicalId":503812,"journal":{"name":"Vision: The Journal of Business Perspective","volume":"30 12","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139158273","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
