The study determine the utilization and effectiveness of the research-based innovative teaching devices in the Schools Division of Camarines Norte to provide an inventory of available research-based innovative teaching devices developed in the Division as to physical component, special features and mechanics of its utilization; determine the degree of utilization of the said teaching devices as assessed by the teachers along functionality, flexibility, support to teaching, technical considerations, and engagement and interactions of the user; determine the extent of effectiveness of the said teaching devices as assessed by the jurors as to scope, delivery of instruction, appropriateness of the content, and layout and presentation; and determine the experiences and challenges in the utilization of the said teaching devices. The developed research-based innovative teaching devices utilized by the teachers were moderately functional, flexible, supported teaching, considered technical aspects, and ensured the engagement and interaction of the user to a moderate extent only. Along with scope, delivery of instruction, and appropriateness of the content, layout, and presentation, the teaching devices were found to be effective to a moderate extent; thus, their effectiveness moderately contributes to the enhancement of the competencies, skills, and abilities of the students. The inclusion of learning activities suited to the learners that could be utilized by the teachers and students is being suggested. Enhancement training and the allocation of funds to sustain the implementation of the study are necessary to motivate teachers to do research and innovation.

The Most Significant Change (MSC) technique was used to explore the impacts of the Organic Agriculture Production (OAP) Training Program of Ifugao State University in Ifugao, Philippines. Beneficiaries were asked about changes that resulted from their participation in the program. Themes were identified from these changes. Bennett’s hierarchy of program outcomes served as basis in determining levels to which collected changes correspond. There were 105 stories in total. These referred to changes economically, socially as well as changes in beneficiaries’ knowledge, attitudes, and skills. Results revealed that the OAP Training Program brought about changes at higher levels that were in line with Bennett’s hierarchy. The OAP Training Program brought impacts to beneficiaries economic and social circumstances as well as knowledge, attitudes, and skills.

This study is current and applicable to the new norm of comprehending the experiences of online consumers on online marketplace pages. This study concentrated on the online shopping experiences and reactions of selected faculty members by identifying key observations, and consumer experiences on the web that emphasize browsing, purchasing, and online flow. The researchers used phenomenology as a qualitative research method to collect responses from twenty buyers who varied in consumer experience, gender, and age. The interview was tailored to each participant based on online information and a guide question. Results of the interviews revealed that some faculty members at a local university in Manila find online businesses to be both popular and convenient, while they can readily access online marketplaces. In addition, they purchase frequently using this platform due to the low prices, which is advantageous for them as consumers, although they are wary of con artists and fake buyers/sellers. Meanwhile, the challenges encountered by buyers include product complexities and meet-up changes, as well as the central issues of online trust and social connection. Despite the fact that some product acquisitions are difficult, the study found that appropriateness, price setting, and seller connections kept customers purchasing on the online market. Despite offering valuable insights into the faculty members’ online purchasing experience, this research has a number of limitations. The study is predicated on a twenty-participant qualitative investigation that was conducted primarily in Manila. Consequently, future research should involve populations from different regions. Numerous opportunities exist for future research to build on these findings. The development of a typology of online encounters and circumstances is one of the suggested areas for future study.

The mangrove pens were modified to produce mud crab (Scylla serrata) and milkfish (Chanos chanos) in a polyculture system. The modification of mangrove pens was done by adding excavations inside the pen. The water quality parameters (dissolved oxygen (DO), pH, salinity, and temperature) were monitored, and the recovery and production rates in each pen were evaluated. The experiment was conducted for a rearing period of 143 days in nine mangrove pens, each having an area of 32 m2 and an average net enclosure height of 3 m from the soil surface. The three different pens constructed (existing design: canal only, 43% excavation by area, and 54% excavation by area) were designated as T1, T2, and T3, respectively. The water quality parameters recorded in the pens were favorable for the growth and recovery of the mud crab and milkfish, except for DO. For mud crab, the highest mean recovery was recorded in T2, followed by T3, and the lowest in T1. The production rate followed the same pattern as the recovery, with T2 having the highest, followed by T3, and T1 having the lowest. The statistical analysis revealed that the variations in mud crab recovery were not significant, while in terms of production rate, modified mangrove pens were found to be more effective than the existing design. Due to the total mortality of the cultured milkfish, the current set-up of modified mangrove pens was found to be unsuitable for the polyculture system of milkfish and mud crab production.

The heutagogical approach places a strong emphasis on learner autonomy and the enhancement of their potential for a self-directed learning, technology utilization also can make it easier to integrate heutagogy in the classroom, improving learning results and increasing learner engagement. Thus, the student satisfaction is an essential element of higher education that can support student achievement. This study aims to describe the satisfaction of Political Science students with the heutagogy approach in education at the Universidad de Manila, Philippines using a descriptive quantitative approach with a survey method. The subjects of this study were the twenty-nine (29) students of the Political Science education program at Universidad de Manila, Philippines who are currently enrolled in Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis of Political Data (PSC222). The sampling used was purposeful which is a non-probability. The result reveals that the students were very satisfied (62.1%) with the quality of teaching, satisfied (58.6%) with the course content, satisfied (37.9%) with the campus facilities, and very satisfied (55.2%) with the student support and services. The results disclosed that student satisfaction is a vital aspect in higher education as it affects their motivation and academic success, especially in this era of Globalization, Technology, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), is increasing, which forces the world of education to have positive innovations for the advancement of education.
