A new caddisflies species Electroadicella unipetra sp. nov. (Leptoceridae) is described and illustrated from Rovno amber (upper Eocene, 36 million years old). Now the family Leptoceridae is represented by five named species among 38 named species of caddisflies known from Rovno amber.

A new species, Ixalma mindanaoensis sp. n., of the subtribe Ixalmina (Rhamphini, Curculioninae) is described and illustrated from Mindanao (Suriago del Sur, Surigao del Norte and Lanao del Sur) of the Philippines. The new species is similar to Ixalma javanica Voss, 1934 but differs in a shorter rostrum and non-tuberculated third and fifth elytral interstriae. It is the first record of the genus Ixalma Pascoe, 1871 from the Philippines.

A new genus, Philippinoramhus Legalov, gen. nov. with type species Ph. antonkozlovi Legalov, sp. nov. from the subtribe Rhamphina (Rhamphini) from the Philippines (Luzon and Mindanao islands) is described. The new genus is similar to the genus Indodinorrhopalus Pajni et Sood, 1981 but differs in the very long rostrum (especially in females), weakly sulcated femora and eyes continues dorsally. It is the first record of the tribe Rhamphini for the Philippines.

The sex attractant butan-2-yl dodec-2-enoate (a patented name ‘EFETOV-2’) synthesised at the Crimean Federal University was tested in the Far East of Russia and Eastern Siberia in 2022 and the Republic of South Africa in 2019. The males of three Zygaenidae species (Lepidoptera) were attracted in our field experiments, viz. Illiberis (Nikilliberis) kardakoffi Alberti, 1951, Rhagades (Rhagades) pruni ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775) (both Procridinae) and Praezygaena ochroptera (Felder, 1874) (Zygaeninae). For I. (N.) kardakoffi and P. ochroptera data on attractants were not previously known.

This paper presents an annotated checklist of the Chilopoda from Azerbaijan, based on a critical revision of all published literature data. The checklist includes 40 species arranged in 14 genera, seven families, and four orders. Eight species are endemic to the Caucasus, with two species, Lithobius foviceps and Scolopendra media, known from Azerbaijan only. The history of studies on the Chilopoda from Azerbaijan is also summarized.

A new species of longhorn beetles from the subfamily Spondylidinae, Cephalallus vitalii sp. n., is described and illustrated from the earliest Ypresian Fur Formation in Denmark. The new species differs from other species of the genus Cephalallus Sharp, 1905 in the eyes without emargination, shorter third and fourth antennomeres, and the sides of the pronotum lacking granules. This discovery marks the first record of Cerambycidae from the Fur Formation.

New data on the distribution of the poorly known Noctuidae species, Cteipolia murina (Ménétriés, 1848) is provided, the species is reported from West, Central, Northeast, and the northern Southeast Kazakhstan, and its female genitalia are illustrated and diagnosed for the first time. The authorship of the species is discussed. The similar species, Cteipolia isotima Püngeler, 1914 is reported from East Kazakhstan (Saur-Tarbagatai massif) for the first time. Adults, male and female genitalia and habitats of both species are illustrated.

Based on specimens collected from Lake Lugu in Yanyuan County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China, we have described a new species of the genus Valvata, Valvata succinea sp. nov. Prior to this, no extant species of Valvatidae family endemic to China have been discovered. The ancient history and unique environment of Lake Lugu may have facilitated the formation of this species. Detailed description of the morphology of this species were provided.
