This study was conducted to examine the effects of the 5E inquiry techniques on the Malay Language writing skills of Second Language students and the problems faced by teachers who use the 5E inquiry technique approach (Involvement, Exploration, Explanation, Elaboration, Evaluation) in improving Malay essay writing skills. This paper highlights the challenges students face in developing effective writing skills, particularly in essay writing, within the context of learning the Malay Language such as issues of student motivation, ineffective teaching techniques, and an emphasis on results, dependence on teachers, and the overall quality of education. Addressing these challenges is crucial for enhancing students' writing skills and promoting critical and creative thinking in essay composition. This paper consists of three main research objectives. The research objectives are to: i. Assess the academic progress of students in the treatment group before and after exposure to the 5E inquiry technique approach (Involvement, Exploration, Explanation, Elaboration, and Evaluation).ii. Compare the pre-test and post-test performance of experimental group students utilizing the 5E inquiry technique approach (Involvement, Exploration, Explanation, Elaboration, and Evaluation). iii. Identify challenges faced by both teachers and students in implementing the 5E inquiry technique approach (Involvement, Exploration, Explanation, Elaboration, and Evaluation) to enhance Malay essay writing skills. A total of 35 form four students in one of the secondary schools were surveyed. The school to conduct the research was chosen according to the random probability sampling technique, and the respondents were determined by the school based on the equivalent academic achievement. Quasi-experimental method was used in this study. In this design, researchers measured participants' outcomes before and after the intervention, and any changes were attributed to the treatment. 5E steps can be taught simultaneously in two periods of language lessons. A pre-test was first given

This study delves into multicultural music education by investigating the impact of innovative teaching approaches on students' learning outcomes, with a particular focus on the mediating role of cultural awareness. The research centres on a captivating case study conducted at Anyang Normal University in China, where various teaching innovations have been implemented to enrich the educational experience. These innovations encompass integrating diverse music cultures into the curriculum, technology into music education, collaborative learning and group projects, assessment strategies tailored for multicultural music education, and professional development opportunities for teachers. This study also considers the moderating effect of music teachers' experiences and expertise by scrutinising the correlation between these teaching innovations and students' learning outcomes. Moreover, this study included students' prior musical background and knowledge as control variables. To gather comprehensive data, surveys and interviews with students and teachers will be conducted, complemented by an analysis of students' performance in multicultural music education. This study sought to offer a deeper understanding of the role of teaching innovation in multicultural music education and its influence on students' learning outcomes. By exploring the mediating and moderating factors that affect this relationship, this study aimed to shed light on the complex dynamics within the field. The findings of this study contribute significantly to the advancement of knowledge in this domain.

The research aims to identify the hindrances of scientific research cultures at Al-Madinah International University in Malaysia from the faculty members' perspectives. This study used a mixed method approach to gather the data related to the hindrances of research culture among the academic staff in Al-Madinah International University. The sample size consisted of 50 faculty lecturers from the faculty education, Islamic science and faculty of languages. The data was collected using questionnaire and open-ended interview. The statistical analysis was done using the statistical packages program (SPSS). The scientific meaning of Al-Madinah International University from the faculty members' perspective where the mean averages of the dimensions ranged between ( x̄ ) = (4.950) to (21.99) and a standard deviation = .907) and .728)) as well as each of the two terms (obstacles). Related to working conditions on an arithmetic average of (x) = (25.05). Furthermore, barriers related to the field of professional growth related to scientific research for a faculty member) with a mean average of (x) = (25.07), with the highest score in the mean averages of faculty members' responses on the questionnaire items. Followed by the order of the degree of material and moral obstacles, obstacles related to administration, (x) = (24.78 and 24.90), respectively. The results also showed that there are no statistically significant differences in the obstacles to scientific research attributable to all demographic variables of the faculty members by the value of (p = .801) and (f = (.223) for years of experience, with a value of (.789 p) and f = (.237), the value of variables according to academic rank (p) .450 and (f = (.803) all> Indication level. (0, 05). The researchers recommend the dissemination of the research culture through the internal grants and research training programs.

Personality is a characteristic feature of a person that is manifested in outward behavior and is influenced by the factors that make up a person's personality in life. The boom in the development of science and technology combined with the rapid progress of Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR4.0) makes STEM education so important as a career element in the future. However, the trend of STEM students' participation in education in schools is very worrying. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the personality characteristics and trends of students' inclination towards STEM education in schools. The conceptual parts consist of an extensive search and analysis of academic articles and government publications related to personality issues and trends of STEM interest in education. A conceptual framework is proposed to identify the relationship between personality and STEM education trends based on the findings and support from previous studies. The significance of this study provides a new dimension of personality factors as a variable for the trend of interest in STEM education among students in school. This study also helps researchers and government agencies explore and evaluate the extent to which personality factors can add value in strengthening STEM education in schools.

The purpose of this article was to identify and compare the method of teaching and learning of tahrir al-hadith between two Malaysian research universities. A qualitative study was conducted on two lecturers of takhrij al-hadith . Data was collected from a semi-structured interview using a document analysis. Results showed that teaching and learning method of takhrij al-hadith at UKM and UM used both conventional and innovative approaches. It can be concluded that takhrij al-hadith advances teaching and learning through the combination of conventional and innovative methods. This study implies that takhrij al-hadith approach is critical in the current digital era of global higher learning institutions. Future work should focus on the simplified version of takhrij al-hadith for the public.
