In the realm of financial and banking institutions, the art of forecasting and assessing banking risks holds paramount significance. Preserving the financial stability of banks is contingent upon adept risk management, a cornerstone in enhancing overall bank performance. Moreover, the effectiveness of financial and banking institutions can be gauged by their ability to systematically evaluate and mitigate risks. Among these risks, the assessment of banking credit risks looms large in contemporary times, given the heightened necessity for decision-makers to anticipate the likelihood of loan defaults. However, one formidable challenge persists: the inadequate assessment of banking credit risks. This challenge stems from the multifaceted factors that influence risk assessment and the soundness of credit decisions. In response to this pressing issue, our research presents a predictive model employing machine learning (ML) algorithms. Our objective is to facilitate informed credit decision-making and safeguard the financial assets of banks. In pursuit of this aim, we employed five machine learning classification algorithms: Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), Random Forest (RF), Logistic Regression (LR), Decision Tree (DT) and XGBoost (XGB). To ensure the robustness of our study, we utilized a real-world dataset gleaned from the historical records of a prominent Egyptian bank. Subsequently, we assessed the performance of our model based on key metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and the f1 score. The results showed that XGB exhibited the highest accuracy, underlining the potential for ML algorithms to revolutionize the assessment of banking credit risks.

The aim of this article is to propose a framework for mobile applications to improve online banking transactions using blockchain to secure customers’ accounts for any transactions via application. The application addresses customer account security issues by improving online banking transactions. Blockchain technology creates a ledger to protect against hacking, improving efficiency. This solution reduces complexity by allowing apps to maintain and share secure, visible, and immutable records. The blockchain has the potential to optimize the internet banking sector by enhancing privacy, transparency, and effectiveness. Blockchain could change online banking by boosting transaction speed, lowering costs, improving transparency, and increasing privacy. It may also reduce the need for third-party intermediaries such as clearinghouses and other financial institutions. Consequently, transaction costs are reduced, and efficiency is increased. Additionally, by documenting all transactions and making it simpler for regulators to monitor transactions and avoid fraudulent activities that surround many of us as a result of corruption, blockchains can promote transparency. There are several methods that can satisfy the requirements of online transactions. Most online banking transactions that use blockchain to enhance frameworks benefit from a variety of technologies to provide comprehensive solutions. Consequently, for the blockchain to acquire its full potential in the online banking sector, these dangers must be addressed. while safeguarding the user and the infrastructure for smart applications. This paper provides a proposed framework for online banking transactions using blockchain.

The evolving landscape of the supply chain (SC) emphasizes the need for flexibility, resilience, and dependability, especially in the face of digital transformation challenges. As SCs become more digitalized, seamless coordination, traceability, and adaptability become dominant to ensure optimal control and visibility. This research investigates the influence of the digital supply chain (DSC) on sales and logistics outcomes, specifically within the jewelry industry at "L’AZURDE Company in Egypt." Furthermore, this research attempts to explore the benefits linked to DSC and its implications for sales and logistical efficiency through Digital Transformation (DT). Using quantitative analysis, this study evaluates the impact of the DSC on sales and logistics within the jewelry industry. The research used primary survey data and was further enriched with historical data from L’AZURDE. Moreover, the research adopted methods such as confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), correlation analysis, and structural equation modeling (SEM) to understand underlying relations, define the interconnections between variables, and examine the suggested hypothesis.
