For the first time, the possibility of using the innovative technology «Plantar Support Load Simulator (Corvit)» in the medical rehabilitation of children with flat feet has been scientifically substantiated. Purpose. Scientific rationale for the use of innovative technology «Plantar Support Load Simulator (Corvit)» for flat feet in children. Materials and Methods. The clinical study included 30 children with flat feet aged 7 to 17 years. The study group consisted of 15 children who were treated with the plantar support load simulator «Corvit»; the comparison group (15 children) had no exposure to the plantar support load simulator «Corvit». The children of groups 1 and 2 received a standard complex of therapeutic exercises for flat feet in children. To determine the effectiveness of using support stimulation with the plantar support load simulator «Corvit», we carried out the assessment of orthopedic status, subjective determination of the severity of pain syndrome according to the VAS, determination of the functional state of the feet in statics and dynamics (DIERS pedoscan of the DIERS formetric 4D system), and the assessment of the state of microcirculation in the foot area using laser Doppler flowmetry. Results and discussion. The conducted prospective open randomized comparative study allowed us to establish relief of pain during physical activity in the area of the legs and feet and the reduction of fatigue in most children under the influence of mechanical stimulation of support zones. According to the assessment of the orthopedic status by the DIERS pedoscan of the DIERS formetric 4D system, an improvement in the support, spring, and balancing functions of the feet was revealed, characterized by an improvement in podometry and stabilometry indicators. An improvement in the state of microcirculation has been proven according to laser Doppler flowmetry in the form of an improvement in perfusion and regulatory mechanisms of the microcirculatory bloodstream. A significantly more pronounced therapeutic effectiveness of medical rehabilitation of children using the plantar support load simulator «Corvit» for flat feet in children (86.7 %), in relation to the comparison group (53.3 %), p < 0.05, was established.

The relevance and social significance of studying the issues of medical rehabilitation and the development of sanatorium treatment programs for patients who have suffered a new coronavirus infection COVID-19 is determined by the high prevalence of this disease in a pandemic, the polymorphism of clinical manifestations, the possibility of developing postcovid syndrome and disability of such patients. Currently, medical rehabilitation of patients is carried out in 3 stages and includes the use of methods of physiotherapy, massage, therapeutic physical education, diet therapy, psychological correction, etc. Sanatorium treatment creates additional opportunities for recovery after a new coronavirus infection due to the use of primarily natural physical factors as the most physiological methods. Currently, research is underway to study the effectiveness of various sanatorium treatment programs in patients who have undergone COVID-19.

Constant pain in the back leads to chronicity of the process and disability of the population. This work intends to develop and scientifically substantiate comprehensive treatment of lumbosacral dorsopathy patients with radicular syndrome in the subacute stage of the disease, including drug therapy, multichannel electrical stimulation with bipolar pulsed currents (MES BPC), and vibration massage, as well as to evaluate the impact of this treatment on the overall indicator of quality of life in patients. Results. Before treatment, the patients with lumbosacral dorsopathy and radicular syndrome in the subacute stage of the disease in the 1st (control) and 2nd (study) groups had significantly lower QOL indicators than normative ones, which reflected a decrease in quality of life. Complex treatment, including drug therapy, MES BPC, and vibration massage, contributed to a more pronounced and persistent improvement in the quality of life indicator in the patients of the 2nd (study) group throughout all periods of observation, compared with standard drug therapy in the 1st (control) group of the patients.

A number of authors put forward a hypothesis about the role of systemic subclinical vascular inflammation characteristic of COVID-19 in the development of peripheral complications of this infection, including in the oral cavity. Notably, there is a high incidence of gingivitis and periodontitis in patients after COVID-19. Material and methods. 35 patients diagnosed with chronic generalized periodontitis and chronic gingivitis in the acute stage were followed-up on an outpatient basis. All patients had a history of COVID-19 in the past 2 to 6 months. The patients were divided into two groups: the study group (n = 18) and the control group (n = 17). All patients underwent professional oral hygiene. In the study group, low-intensity laser therapy procedures were performed with preliminary application of a liposomal gel. Clinical research methods included taking an anamnesis, examination, and determination of indices (CFE index, Green Vermilion index, PMA index, CI index, Russell’s index). Research results. After therapy, all patients of the study group had grade 1 CFE index up to 4 (compensated); in the patients of the control group, grade 1–2 CFE was determined (compensated — in 88.2 % of the patients and subcompensated — in 11.8 %). After therapy, the Green Vermilion index decreased in both groups by 40.5 % and 31.3 %, with no significant intergroup difference. The PMA index decreased by 88.8 % in the study group and by 71.5 % in the control group. The index of bleeding reduced by 86.4 % in the study group and by 60.9 % in the control group. The Russell’s index, which allows taking into account the presence of gingivitis, tooth mobility, and the depth of the periodontal pocket, was also considered. Its value decreased by 92.3 % in the study group and by 63.8 % in the control group. Conclusions. The developed therapeutic complex, which includes low-intensity laser exposure with preliminary application of the liposomal gel, is more effective than the standard approach to the treatment of this pathology.

Cabozantinib is an inhibitor of various receptor tyrosine kinases involved in tumor growth and angiogenesis. According to these recommendations, the combination of cabozantinib and nivolumab is the preferred regimen in the first line of treatment of clear cell RCC of all IMDC prognosis groups based on repeatedly proven effectiveness. Meanwhile, the combination demonstrates a safety profile associated with a deterioration in quality of life in most cases. The purpose of the research was to study the impact of nutritional support and other rehabilitation measures on the quality of life of patients, the acceptability of antitumor therapy, and overall satisfaction with treatment in patients receiving cabozantinib in combination with nivolumab. Materials and methods. The study included 48 patients diagnosed with renal cell cancer who received combination therapy with cabozantinib and nivolumab, divided into two groups: the study group (n = 25) and the control group (n = 23). In the study group, the patients received a set of additional rehabilitation measures (magnetic therapy, physical therapy, nutritional support, psychological support); in the control group, the patients received only antitumor therapy without the rehabilitation program. To assess the quality of life, the Russian version of the EORTC QLQ-C30 questionnaire was used. The severity of adverse events was assessed according to CTCAE 5.0 criteria. Results. The introduction of the patient rehabilitation program into the complex of antitumor treatment showed a significant reduction in the severity of side effects and the frequency of their development. During treatment, an improvement in the nutritional status of the patients was noted: a decrease in general weakness (70 % in the study group versus 45 % in the control group), improved appetite (62 % in the control group versus 43 % in the study group), a lower incidence of weight loss (51 % in the control group versus 39 % in the study group), which indicates the significant role of nutritional support. Dynamic monitoring of laboratory parameters revealed a lower incidence of anemia among the patients in the study group. Conclusion. The use of nutritional support, physical therapy, magnetic therapy, and psychological support helps to reduce the frequency and severity of adverse events, improve tolerability of antitumor therapy, decrease the risk of serious adverse events, and improve quality of life, which in turn increases patient adherence to treatment, leading to more thorough implementation of recommendations. As a result, the effectiveness of treatment increases.

The article is devoted to the current problem of rehabilitation of patients with cerebral palsy. The purpose of the article is to summarize new material on the use of combined reflexology, which can complement many treatment methods, including pharmacological ones. The article analyzes traditional and modern concepts in the selection of active exposure points and channels, as well as the selection of drugs for pharmacopuncture. The author proposes a method for the introduction of a point injection of drugs with a double effect on the body: stimulation of the active point and pharmacotherapy. The main content of the study is the analysis of three reflexotherapy techniques: acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, and exposure with a combination of pharmacopuncture and acupuncture. Based on the analysis and the objectification of research, it has been found that the combined method is the most effective. To sum up, conclusions about the efficacy of combined reflexotherapy are drawn, and the prospects for further study of this method as a means of rehabilitation are confirmed, which justifies wider inclusion of reflexotherapy in the standards of treatment of patients with cerebral palsy.

Relevance: determining the therapeutic effects of a complex of pathogenetically determined rehabilitation technologies in patients with functional asthenia is an urgent scientific and practical task. The aim of the study was to determine the therapeutic effects of combinations of rehabilitation technologies in patients with functional asthenia. Methods: 24 patients aged 29.3 (21.5–35.0) years with functional asthenia (ICD-10 code: R53) were studied. The patients were prescribed a set of physical exercises, a course of audiovisual polysensory relaxation, carbon dioxide baths, climatotherapy, clinical nutrition, and psychotherapy. The total duration of the course was 30 days. Clinical, instrumental, psychophysical, and integral methods of assessing the condition of patients were used. Results: an improvement in clinical status indicators and a decrease in signs of asthenia with an improvement in mood, well-being, cheerfulness, and self-confidence were noted. The rehabilitation course caused a pronounced oxygen capacity of tissues, an increase in adaptation reserves, an improvement in vegetative regulation and the level of somatic health, and a significant increase in physical performance in patients with functional asthenia. Conclusion: а complex of physical exercises, audiovisual polysensory relaxation, carbon dioxide baths, climatotherapy, clinical nutrition, and psychotherapy forms pronounced actoprotective and psychocorrective therapeutic effects in patients with functional asthenia.
