During primary school students are introduced to basic geometry knowledge. As students go through high school, they acquire more and more complex knowledge. In the current article, we present different solutions to one problem, depending on the age and knowledge required to solve the problem. We’ll start with two familiar problems. Then we’ll generalize and we’ll prove a lemma. In the last part we’ll present different problems and their solutions that were born from the first two problems and the lemma.

A pilot conceptualisation of the data space ecosystems for cultural heritage 文化遗产数据空间生态系统的试点构想

The digital heritage sector is among the nine common European data spaces out- lined in the EU Data Act: Health, Industrial, Agriculture, Finance, Mobility, Green Deal, Energy, Public Administration, and Skills. The data space concept is complex, and being linked with the data ecosystem brings together methodologies and techniques from numerous domains: artificial intelligence (AI), text/data mining, data visualisation, mapping, image analysis, audio analysis, network analysis, and rights management. There is a need for clarifying data terminology in use for the GLAM field and transferable methodology to strengthen its’ ongoing datafication and digital skill set. The paper offers a comprehensive literature review (incl. EU Data (space) policy documents) on data spaces and data ecosystems aimed at (1) formulating the main challenges in data collection, data processing, and data maturity for heritage-related information systems and (2) justification of the necessary mindset and digital skill set change for a mature museum. General conclusions are made as well as rec- ommendations for the Bulgarian GLAM sector.

Artificial intelligence could be used as a powerful and innovative tool in mathematics education. It is poised to transform the way of learning and teaching this subject.The main objective of our study is to provide a more complete and thorough understanding of the role and impact of using AI in mathematics education by determining the trends, the AI methods, the technological applications and the opportunities for utilizing AI by teachers and students. The potential benefits and threats caused by the use of AI are also discussed.

Big biomedical data analytics in support of precision medicine 支持精准医疗的生物医学大数据分析

The goal of this paper is to present the major outcomes of the author scientific research in the area of Big Biomedical Data analytics in support of precision medicine, specifically genomics and oncology. The main parts of the paper reveal the state-of-the art in big data technologies and their significance for the advance of molecular biology and medicine in the context of the computational paradigm for scientific research. Furthermore, it presents approaches for gene finding and early detection of breast cancer and thyroid cancer based on big biomedical data analytics.

Sorting in construction of resolutions of combinatorial designs 组合设计决议构建中的排序

There are different kinds of sorting algorithms. Each algorithm has its own advantages and disadvantages depending on the data they process. We are interested in the performance of sorting algorithms in the case of construction of resolutions of combinatorial designs. Studying their performance for this special class of problems will give us the opportunity to improve, if possible, the speed of our software for solving similar problems. We use C++ and, for part of our investigations, the computer algebra system GAP.

Design patterns (models) are repeatable and reusable constructions and solutions for common situations and problems to improve the quality of software systems. SOLID and GRASP are sets of design principles that are used in object-oriented software development. In this work we consider these solutions and principles and compare their (possibly combined) usage in different cases.

Sentiment analysis and change: a case study of evaluating user perceptions during international companies’ rebranding 情感分析与变革:评估国际公司品牌重塑过程中用户看法的案例研究

The article presents a sentiment analysis of the process of rebranding international companies in Russia following their withdrawal from the local market after 24.02.2022. The comparative analysis of social media content related to two pairs of companies (McDonald’s / Vkusno I Tochka; Zara / Maag) showed different patterns of users’ sentiments about the change. This is a pioneering attempt to explore to what extent social media analysis methods and tools can shed light on rebranding processes. This research demonstrates the potential for conducting such types of studies, but also to highlight the still existing imperfections in terms of sentence-level opinion assessment, especially in non-English texts.
