This paper examined counter-radicalization at Mataram State Islamic University (UIN Mataram) through a systematic approach. It focused on the forms, typology, roots, and gateways of radicalism in the Islamic university. This study categorized the roots of radicalism as the internal aspect of the system, while the gateways are referred to as the external component. The findings showed that the efforts to demolish radicalism at UIN Mataram should be preceded by the understanding of (a) forms and typology of radicalism, (b) understanding of the roots and gateways of the radical ideology, and (3) offering solutions through system approach. These include leadership involvement, disseminating moderate Islamic values (Washatiyyah), re-examining the curriculum and materials prone to misunderstanding, modifying the pedagogical methods, involving Islamic boarding schools, and carrying out more studies on radicalism at Islamic higher education institutions.

A school's quality is heavily determined by the competence of its teachers. In terms of Islamic schools where building Islamic character in students serves as the main objective, the teachers play an even more significant role. This article discusses concepts related to empowering Islamic primary schools in Pekalongan. Promoting quality services to the community, the schools develop a strategy to empower their teachers. The research uses multiple case studies whereby a variable-oriented approach is employed to develop several propositions upon which a cross-case analysis is constructed. This research article discusses theories related to human resource management, builds interconnection between the theories and the concept of teacher empowerment, and finally analyzes some profound findings upon which the schools are considered successful in empowering their teachers. It underscores the role of -amongst which- a teacher's forum in improving schools' teaching and learning quality

The increasing moral degradation in Indonesia makes moral education is in high needs. This research is a qualitative research that seeks to find scaffolding strategies applied by teachers in fostering moral literacy among children through the use of image reflection media and finding narratives that are built from children's reflections. Ten elementary school students in Central Java, Indonesia were involved in this study. In collecting data, researchers used semi-structured interviews and observations to strengthen research data. As for analyzing the data, this study uses thematic analysis. Although it has several shortcomings, the research subjects show positive response regarding the use of the image reflection method as an effort to foster moral literacy in early childhood. This method is expected to be an alternative measure in moral teaching, especially at the elementary age level

Al-Qur'an Hadith are sources of law for Muslims. It is crucial to apply teaching and learning models that are easy for teachers and students to understand and form religious moderation. This study explains how the PRADAEC learning model determines the success of cognitive learning of Islam students while also accommodating religious moderation. Based on the results of this library study, there are seven stages (syntax) in the PRADAEC learning model: Preview, Read, Ask, Discuss, Answer, Explain, and Correction. Second, the seven stages of the PRADAEC learning model are then implemented in three learning components, namely: 1) Introduction, including Preview, 2) core activities, namely Read, Ask, Discuss, Answer and Explain and 3) Closing, namely Correction. Third, the stages (syntax) of the learning process include Preview, Read, Ask, Discuss, Answer, Explain, and Correction. The conditions show that the PRADAEC model improves the cognitive learning of Al-Qur'an Hadith while also accommodating students' religious moderation. The enhancement of local school values such as honesty, mutual respect, and courtesy among students needs to concern the values, assumptions, understandings, beliefs, and expectations that are upheld and used by the school, which determines the behaviors in dealing with internal and external parties.

The purpose of this research is to make a systematic, factual and accurate description, description or description of the facts, characteristics and relationships between the phenomena being investigated. Data collection techniques used in this study include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The data analysis used in this research is qualitative data analysis. This analysis is done by working with data, organizing data, sorting it into manageable units, synthesizing it, looking for and finding patterns, discovering what is important and what is learned, and deciding what to tell others. The results of this study indicate that the social care character education formed by the Qodiriyah wan Naqsabandiyah Order is to use two methods, namely dhikr and tazkiyat al-Nafs. The process of developing the personality of Tarekat Qodiriyah wa Naqsabandiyah Bongas Indramayu students, as is usually the case in the orderekat world, is carried out by the method of dhikr and soul cleansing (tazkiyat al-Nafs). Their motive for entering the tarekat is almost entirely based on economic motives. The guidance carried out has not succeeded in creating an inclusive student personality and has social concern in interacting with the community. This study aims to offer a model for implementing religious moderation learning in higher education to stem contradictory ideologies with Islamic teachings such as liberalism, literalism, and radicalism. Their existence has recently significantly disrupted the stability of religious harmony in Indonesia. The current reality of extreme and exclusive religion is spreading in the academic world. Students who only use rational logic without religious texts will be trapped in radical logical reasoning, so they tend to be liberal. On the other hand, students who only adhere to religious texts without being accompanied by critical logic will be dogmatic in understanding religious texts literally. The existence of an understanding of Islam with two camps of liberal and literal interpretation is not in line with a moderation in religion which will obscure the actual value of Islamic teachings. This ideology will produce radical religious perspectives, attitudes, and behaviors. The research approach is research and development, which collaborates quantitative and qualitative. Methods of collecting data through interviews, observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The selection of respondents and informants through random sampling technique, while data analysis using the Miles and Huberman approach.
