Physical education is the discipline in the school curriculum that can help in different ways to educate and train children, young people and adults, contributing to personal and professional development but also the activity through which the subject, performing physical activities, becomes aware of his possibilities, in the conditions of success or failure , in the struggle with oneself or with others, learning at the same time to know oneself better and to know the world better. In the current conception, physical education and school sports constitute one of the most important links of physical education. Due to the fact that students in this educational cycle enter a stage of their lives characterized by profound morpho-functional, motor and psychic transformations, their interest in movement is very high during this period. The present study aims to develop speed, agility and strength, within the physical education lesson, aiming to maximize specific means. The experiment includes the two groups, control and experiment, thus following the interpretation of the results, the progress or regression of the experimental group will be more obvious and easy to analyze, thus the subsequent decisions regarding the content of the subsequent program being simpler, following the previous evaluation. The physical education of the last period suffers in terms of planning and organization of the proposed ones, and through the present paper we highlight the fact that through a correctly carried out activity, positive results appear.

Although hearing impaired people represent a significant group of handicapped people, only a few studies examine their physical activities. This study was performed in the Spring of 2019 in Debrecen, Hungary by recruiting 86 hearing impaired people. Here the frequency and type of their physical activity as well as their motivation was examined. Average age of the subjects was 42.0±16.9 years, 41.9% of them performs regular physical activity. Out of them 54.1% excercises twice a week, the rest even more often. Soccer, jogging, and cycling were the most preferred sports. Percentage of hearing impaired people performing regular physical activity was about the same as it was for people with normal hearing. Reason for motivation – it makes them happy and they feel better due to the physical activity – or staying at home – their health condition limits them and they have little free time – was also similar in both groups. However, 80% of the people with impaired hearing preferred to do physicial activity together other hearing impaired.

Play is one of the human condition, as it accompanies us throughout our lives. The developmental role of play is used in many areas, education and training being no exception. In this article, the role and importance of toys in physical education sessions for pupils in the specialised teaching service who are in physical education are examined. The research included 120 students from schools in Hajdúböszörmény and Hajdúdorog, who are part of the Hajdúböszörmény branch of the Hajdú-Bihar County Pedagogical Service and are classified as students in physical education. We were looking for answers to questions such as what sports or movement games they play in PE sessions, how much they like them and how motivated they are by playing them. The results of the research confirm that the positive personality of the physical education teacher, the colourful toolbox and the methods he uses, such as the use of movement games, motivate pupils to actively participate in physical education lessons. By exploiting the motivational role of games, both children's attitudes towards physical education and their activity in class can be shaped. According to the pupils who participated in the sessions, it was found that they felt the positive benefits of the PE sessions in terms of performance, fitness and resilience and self-confidence.

The approach to mountain tourism from an institutional position by including this activity in the Education Plan of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, occurred many years ago (since 1965) and due to the impact of this activity on a growing number of people from more diverse categories, it was motivated by the multiplication of options in terms of professional inclusion but also the capitalization of possible educational effects. On the other hand, we believe that we must ask ourselves if the aims of the discipline "Internship in tourism activities" subscribe to the components of the instructional-educational process specific to the higher education of physical education and sports. The attempt to give an answer to this question represented the foundation of this study.

Dogs, as companion animals, have many positive effects on the health and quality of life of dog owners, if the purpose of dog ownership is not as a watchdog but as a companion animal. Dogs can encourage the owner to engage in daily walks, play, sports and other interactions, which are beneficial for physical, mental and social well-being, as has been proven by various studies. The aim of our research was to investigate the role and impact of dogs on dog owners' physical activity, dog interactions and mental health. To achieve our goal, we created an online questionnaire that was completed by 220 dog owner respondents. Our research sought to understand how dog owners develop a relationship with their companion animal, the role of the dog in their active leisure time and the impact of the dog on the owner's mental health. We used a four-part questionnaire to obtain our answers. The first part covered demographic questions, the second part focused on the respondent's dog and the time spent with him/her doing sports. In the third part, the Monash Dog-Owner (MDORS) (Cavo et al., 2016) questionnaire was used and in the last part, the Mental Health Test was used. Our research has confirmed that exercising with dogs has positive effects on humans. Walking with a dog encourages exercise and also encourages the owner to spend time outdoors. Around 26% of the people in the study exercise together and 77.3% walk with their dog. The mental health of dog owners is medium and the level of happiness is above average. These results confirm that promoting dog ownership can help to achieve the objectives of public health strategies to encourage people to be more active, to exercise or to improve quality of life and health.

From studying the bibliography and from experience we found that education issues regarding coordination abilities are addressed very vaguely and made by practical means scientifically unproven as effective. In today's sports branches, the importance of coordinative capacities is the starting point in the correct performance of motor skills but also in the ability to quickly adapt to different situations or working conditions. With the increase in the level of development of these motor capacities, in schools, through dedicated lessons, we could speak of a much better selection for certain sports branches but also for performance sports. Research presented at various scientific conferences and the published papers had a good impact on the specialists of Sport Science and Physical Education. We believe today that these studies are just the beginning to modernize the entire contents aimed at optimizing the motor capacities of the child. We know that today's young people, with problems of a motor nature, also have problems of an affective-social nature. This psychosocial imbalance is closely related to psychomotor development. In this sense, psychomotricity must be promoted as the main part of personality development.

Rhythmic gymnastics is one of the sports that educates one of the basic components of physical beauty, also falling into the category of technical-combination sports. Achieving a high performance in rhythmic gymnastics is a complex process, which requires a comprehensive approach to the development of motor qualities and specific skills. In particular, two fundamental motor qualities, addressed in the paper, are essential for achieving success in this discipline: joint mobility and muscle elasticity, as well as coordination of body segments. Thus, through the appropriate introduction and implementation of specific exercises in the rhythmic gymnastics training of performance athletes, we highlighted the importance, the beneficial and essential effect in improving sports performance. The purpose of the research is to evaluate and analyze the impact of the means used in training on the development of mobility and coordination of gymnasts. The obtained results underline the positive influence of exercises on sportswomen's performances and through the planning and proper implementation of exercises in training, a holistic and sustainable development of athletes in their sports activities can be ensured.

Optimally developed body composition and motor skills make an important contribution to increasing quality of life and also determine sports performance. The aim of this study was to analyze the influence of recreational contemporary dance training on body composition and the level of motor skills development in 6-9 year old children. The subjects of the study were 26 girls aged 6-9 years, 12 of whom were in the experimental group (EG) and 14 in the control group (CG). The EG participated in contemporary dance training for 6 months, twice a week, one hour each, and the CG did not perform any extracurricular physical activity. Body mass index (BMI), body fat (BF) and skeletal muscle (SM) were analyzed with OMRON BF511 monitor. The motor skills assessment tests were: standing board jump (SBJ), Matorin test (MatT), back saver sit & reach with alternatively reached legs (S&R_RL – right leg reached, S&R_LL – left leg reached) and sit-ups (S-U). Data were processed with SPSS 20 software. Statistically significant differences between initial and final values were found for body composition in the experimental group for the parameter SM (p = .000), and in the control group for SM (p = .004), but also for BF (p = .053) on CG. In the motor skills assessment tests, in the experimental group the differences were statistically significant for all parameters assessed (p ≤ .05), and in the control group only for S&R_RL (p = .007) and , S&R_LL (p = .005), but with smaller effects size. In conclusion, contemporary dance practiced for 6 months, twice a week, has no impact on body composition, but may influence the development of specific motor skills.

The 10-12 years age category is one of the most important periods in the training of young footballers, especially from the perspective of motor skills. Psycho-physical development allows the expansion of gestural accumulations, the rapid assimilation of new motor skills and the formation of a culture of movement. At this age, there is an increase in motor guidance capacity, temporal differentiation, rhythm and reaction. By merging the new skills with the ones already learned, in an integrative way, the prerequisites for the consolidation of a multilateral motor baggage are ensured. The role of the coach in the football game is to ensure the development of the children on a sporting, social, psychological and educational level. The coach, in order to succeed in these things, must know the child, know the particularities of age and, last but not least, take into account his abilities. Thus, this study proposes the application of a questionnaire to the coaches from Bihor County, regarding their vision on the development of motor skills in 10-12 year-old children in the game of football. Analyzing the responses of the coaches, we can affirm the fact that most of the respondents are very well prepared from a theoretical point of view.
