Work fatigue is a work-related tiredness that can become severe, inflict sleeping problems, and even threaten workers’ lives. The International Labor Organization (ILO) recorded annual deaths of approximately two million workers due to fatigue-induced accidents. The authors studied the factors promoting work fatigue in workers at PT. Distribusi Energi Mandiri (DEM) using an analytic survey method. This involved the entire workers as the study population and a questionnaire as the data collection method. In our findings, the chi-square test analysis revealed that work duration (p= 0.718 ( 0.05)), age (p= 1.000 ( 0.05)), and work posture (p= 0.176 ( 0.05)) have no relationships with work fatigue, but not with workload (p= 0.003 ( 0.05)). We, therefore, suggested that the management of PT. DEM continues and maintains the ongoing work duration, but provides assistive devices to workers with excessive workloads. In addition, it is necessary to supervise them to change body positions, stretch up and rest periodically during work. We advised workers to take proper breathing and intake, along with paying attention to occupational health and safety.

As a procedure to obtain information with bodily fluid samples, a laboratory test is complementary to a diagnostic assessment. One parameter of laboratory tests is hematology, for which a blood profile is used to evaluate clinical conditions and provide diagnostic information about hematological abnormalities, prognosis, and response treatment. Nowadays, accessibility to laboratory tests has been made easier with medical checkups integrated into the Occupational Health and Safety program, which a company is obliged to have to check on its employees’ health status. Our study analyzed the results of fasting blood tests on the employees of The College of Health Sciences of Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah Cilacap. This College is known for the practice of Islamic and religious values, including fasting, among its employees. Taking the employees as a population and samples, the research included variables of levels of erythrocytes, leukocytes, hemoglobin, and hematocrit in the descriptive analysis method. We gained eleven respondents, 8 males, and 3 females, and used a cluster sampling method with appropriate criteria. The data of obtained samples were analyzed and processed based on the interpretation of the results. The results of routine blood examinations on fasting showed 90.90% normal hemoglobin levels and 72.70% normal hematocrit levels. Conclusively, our results of the blood profile examination on hemoglobin and hematocrit in fasting people showed that fasting is metabolically healthy and produces no indication of anemia.

The practical and efficient prevention of the transmission of COVID-19 infection is through vaccination. However, there are challenges associated with refusing or postponing vaccination due to skepticism regarding the efficacy and safety of vaccines, particularly among pregnant women. The risk factors of pregnant women tend to make this vulnerable group reluctant to uptake the vaccines. Motivation influences personal hesitancy in deciding, especially regarding the COVID-19 vaccine. Therefore, this study investigated the correlation between motivation and hesitancy related to COVID-19 vaccines in expectant mothers at the Bening Nawangsari Midwife Clinic, Bekasi City. In this cross-sectional study, as many as 301 pregnant mothers were chosen using the consecutive sampling method. The Motivations of Vaccination Questionnaire and The Reasons for Hesitation Questionnaire were employed when collecting the data. After calculating the data with the Chi-Square test, a significant relationship between motivation and vaccine hesitancy was revealed (p-value= 0.001). It was concluded that there was a significant relationship between expectant mothers' motivation and hesitation to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

Obesity triggers the risk of degenerative diseases. An unhealthy diet and insufficient physical activity have been contributing to the rapid increase in obesity prevalence. This study aims at determining the differences in the risk of degenerative diseases based on energy consumption and exercise habits of City Disaster Management Board/DMB members, especially in Denpasar City. This research is an observational study, targeting all members of Denpasar DMB as a population. Samples were taken purposively with a total of 126 people. The risk difference was tested using chi-square, and the estimated risk of degenerative diseases was analyzed using the Mantel-Haentzel odds ratio. The risk of degenerative diseases based on energy consumption shows a significant risk only in the group of people who did not have exercise habits (Q-suare=4.53; p=0.03), with an estimated risk that is also significant (OR=2.48; 95% CI= 1.07 - 5.74). The estimated risk results indicated that exercise habit is a potential confounding variable in the risk of degenerative diseases based on energy consumption. Lowering energy consumption is not effective enough to prevent the increase of degenerative disease risk, and prevention of new risks of degenerative diseases must include regular exercise.

Depression is estimated to be experienced by 12 million young adults. In 2021, the prevalence of depression among the people was estimated to be about 20% due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The use of social media can be a trigger for depression and anxiety, especially among young people who are very closely related to social media. In addition, other factors can contribute to depression and anxiety, such as working status, age, married status, and gender. Aim of study is to find factors that influence depression and anxiety in young adults. This study used a quantitative analytic observational approach with a cross-sectional which was carried out in September-October 2022. It involved 285 young adult respondents aged 18-25 years who had lived at least 1 year in a metropolitan area (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi). This study showed that depression (66.4%) and anxiety (73.3%) are quite high in young adults. Working status is significantly associated with depression (p=0.0001) and anxiety (p=0.0001). Similarly, duration of social media use is significantly associated with depression (p<0.001) and anxiety (p=0.026). However, gender, age, and marital status are not associated with depression and anxiety.

IMPROVING BITEWING RADIOGRAPHY: EVALUATING THE EFFECT OF A DENTAL X-RAY POSITIONER ON IMAGE QUALITY IN DENTAL EXAMINATIONS

Bitewing radiography is a valuable tool in detecting and monitoring dental decay and other oral health problems and is typically performed as part of a routine dental examination. It has certain limitations that should be considered. Some of these limitations may cause discomfort or pain to the patient if not positioned correctly. Some patients may find biting down on the film holder difficult or have a strong gag reflex, making the procedure uncomfortable or even impossible. Bitewing radiography can be costly, especially if it needs to be performed regularly, which may limit access to this diagnostic tool for some patients. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of a dental X-ray positioner with a silicone layer on the quality of radiographic images in posterior bitewing dental examinations. Using this positioner was expected to improve the precision of radiographic interpretation and subsequent patient treatment. The study used a multivariate general linear model to analyze the data obtained from radiographic images using the X-ray positioner with the silicone layer and the conventional X-ray positioner. The results showed no significant difference in image quality between the two positioners, indicating that adding the silicone layer did not significantly improve image quality. However, using any X-ray positioner is still beneficial in ensuring accurate radiographic interpretation and subsequent patient treatment.

The COVID-19 pandemic has put intense pressure on the healthcare systems. As the lung complication of COVID-19, pneumonia can be assessed by chest radiography which can be used to predict the severity of patient deterioration using Brixia and RALE scores. This research aims to assess the Radiologists' agreement on diagnosing pneumonia COVID-19 by RT-PCR in CXR using the Brixia and RALE score at Dr. Sardjito Central General Hospital from May 2020-January 2021. Two separate radiologists scored initial chest radiographs for RALE and Brixia independently. The analysis assessed included a descriptive analysis of demographic data, and Bland-Altman plots were used to visualize intra-observer agreement. A total of 332 samples were 162 men (48.8%) and 170 women (51.2%), with a mean age of 42.37. The ICC of Brixia score (0.855, CI:0.794-0.895) and RALE score (0.756, CI:0.662-0.812). Bland–Altman analysis revealed a bias of 5.08 ± 6.04 (95% limits   of agreement of -6.760 and 16.929) for Brixia and RALE scores and significantly correlated (r=0.886 (p0.05)). The average score of Brixia (6.29±4.430) and RALE (11.56±9.997) in men was higher than in women. The agreement of Radiologists in diagnosing pneumonia COVID-19 using Brixia and RALE scores with the Bland Altman curve was significant or reliable.
男性的Brixia(6.29±4.430)和RARE(11.56±9.997)的平均得分高于女性。

A surgical procedure may induce psychological reactions in patients, including pre-surgical anxiety. Pre-surgical anxiety can influence the surgical process and patients’ health status after the surgery. Mild, moderate, and severe anxiety are some of the psychological responses to surgical procedures. Patients' anxiety before surgery is affected by internal and external factors. 30 respondents had the most anxiety levels of moderate preoperative patients, with 12 respondents (40%) and 18 respondents (60%) having surgical with mild preoperative anxiety levels. There were 25 respondents with less knowledge. There were 16 respondents (64%) with mild anxiety levels and 9 (36%) with moderate anxiety levels. 55 respondents with high family support, there were 48 respondents (87.3%) with moderate anxiety levels, there were 5 respondents (7.4%) with severe anxiety levels and 2 respondents (3.6%) with mild anxiety levels. The exact cause of anxiety is unknown, but it is thought to factor in experience, knowledge, and family support or RSUD Arifin Achmad, Riau Province. The study aims to describe factors that influence anxiety in patients’ pre-operation. The research instrument was a questionnaire through validity and reliability tests. Univariate and bivariate analyses were applied. The research instrument was a questionnaire through validity and reliability tests. The research showed no significant correlations between experiences, knowledge, and family support with the patients’ anxiety (p-value0.05). It was suggested that the hospital should concern with factors correlated with pre-surgical patients' anxiety and increase the quality of nursing care.

Mothers who are too young, too old, have too many children or have birth spacing that is too close (mothers with 4T) are at a higher risk of experiencing maternal mortality. At the same time, the use of contraceptives in this group to prevent pregnancy was still low. This study aims to analyze family planning services for couples of reproductive age with 4T and cases of maternal death. This research method is quantitative and descriptive, using 58 data on reports of maternal deaths in Jember Regency for 2022. The study indicates that there are 20 (34.48%) maternal death cases that have at least one of the 4T criteria, with details of 10.34% of deaths in too young criteria, 15.51% of death in too old criteria, 8.60% of deaths in too many criteria; and 8.60% death in too close criteria. There were 20.69% of cases of death in unwanted pregnancies. The average achievement of family planning services for mothers with 4T is only 9.51%. This research can be used as material for evaluating family planning services for women with 4T so that it can reduce maternal mortality in Jember Regency
