This research is a form of analysis and evaluation of the menu at the Bintan Inti Executive Village (BIEV) Clubhouse through a menu engineering system with the aim of improving the quality and effectiveness of the menu served. The formulation of the problem which is the basis of this research is how to improve the quality of the food and beverage menu through the menu engineering system and what recommendation actions should be taken based on the resulting data from the analysis that appears. This study uses variables, which are menu analysis in improving the quality of the menu at BIEV Clubhouse with sub variables, such as food cost, menu mix, and contribution margin. The results of this study that there were 8 menus or 30.77% menus with star categories, 5 menus or 19.23% menus with the plowhorse category, 4 menus or 15.38% menus with the puzzle category, and 9 menus or 34.62%. menu with dog category. The recommended follow-up actions to BIEV Clubhouse management is reducing the menu with the dog category, evaluating product prices and production costs for menus with the plowhorse category, taking suggestive selling steps for menus with the puzzle category, and maintaining the quality and performance of menus with the star category.

Taman Wisata Alam Kawah Ijen (92 ha) merupakan bagian dari kawasan Cagar Alam Kawah Ijen (2.468 ha) tempat berbagai biota langka dilindungi. Segala keunikan yang dimiliki TWAKI menyebabkan kunjungan wisatawan ke destinasi ini cenderung meningkat signifikan, dan pada akhirnya daya dukung lingkungan terlampaui empat tahun terakhir. Oleh karenanya dibutuhkan pengelolaan destinasi yang tepat, namun dibutuhkan dana yang tidak sedikit. Willingness to pay (WTP) wisatawan diharapkan sebagai sumber pendanaan lain diluar pemerintah, dan patokan dalam mengukur WTP adalah memberikan kepuasan maksimal kepada wisatawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tingkat kepuasan wisatawan dan pengaruhnya terhadap WTP, serta tingkatan WTP. Penelitian ini dirancang menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan alat Partial Least Square Path Modelling (PLS-PM). Metode tersebut dipilih untuk mengetahui ukuran korelasional dan kausal antar variabel serta menguji signifikansi dari hipotesis. The tourism industry is one industry that will not run out and will continue to grow. The Indonesian government realizes that the tourism industry is one of the industries that contributes to national development. The existence of tourism as an industry also brings negative impacts. In recent decades a concept of tourism planning and management that was born due to anxiety about the negative impact of the tourism industry. The last few years the issue of sustainable tourism has increased amid the negative impacts felt almost in most tourist attractions, especially cultural heritage-based attractions. Through the concept of sustainable tourism, cultural heritage is not just a tool for simple business practices that only attracts tourists who come to visit and then earn foreign exchange, but rather how this cultural heritage can contribute to environmental quality (saujana culture); public welfare; national and regional economy; increasing scientific insight; and the preservation of cultural heritage itself. Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia merevitalisasi Museum Etnobotani Indonesia menjadi Museum Nasional Sejarah Alam Indonesia (Munasain) dengan tujuan meningkatkan profesionalisme dalam diseminasi. Munasain merupakan salah satu obyek wisata di Kota Bogor, namun relatif belum banyak dikunjungi wisatawan dibandingkan Museum Zoologi dan Museum Tanah dan Pertanian. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui profil dan persepsi peminat Munasain untuk mencari penyebab rendahnya kunjungan dan memberikan solusinya. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif menggunakan instrumen kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 400 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peminat Munasain terbesar adalah kelompok umur 21-30 tahun (38,0%). Sebagian besar responden memperoleh informasi tentang Munasain dari media sosial (67,5%). Tema Munasain yang diminati adalah 38,6% tentang etnobotani, 32,3% koleksi sejarah dan budaya, 27,3% sejarah alam. Bagi responden Munasain dianggap istimewa dibanding museum lain karena merupakan sumber pengetahuan yang lengkap (31,2%), displaynya menarik (29,0%), dan memiliki unggulan koleksi etnobotani (18,3%). Tema yang diminati responden adalah sejarah alam dan budaya Indonesia (59,3%), etnobotani 38,7% dan tema lain 2,0%. Untuk pengembangan ke depan, 43,8% responden menyatakan perlunya sosialisasi dan promosi, 31,5% mengharapkan peningkatan manfaat bagi masyarakat, 16,0% menginginkan display lebih menarik dan 8,6% menyatakan perlunya penambahan koleksi.

Indonesia famous throughout the world as archipelago state followed with tropical climate, as a result this country is full with magnificent natural tourism. One of extraordinary tourist attraction is Indonesia’s underwater world, and one them located in East Kalimantan Province. Despite the fame of natural resources, this province also providing remarkable natural attraction, especially Berau District, precisly in Biduk Biduk Sub-District. Although this area own magnificent tourist attraction, yet the area is experiencing numerous challenges and threat. In terms of research methodology, this scientific paper adopt descriptive analyze which describe the natural tourism potency and analyze the challenges and threats associated with tourist attraction in Biduk Biduk sub-district. Moreover, the type of data classified as primer data, where the author conducting field research in Biduk Biduk sub-district through direct observation, in-depth interview and collect the data in associate institutions. The result shows that natural tourism in Biduk Biduk sub-district can divided into two categories, and those are land based and sea based. Furthermore, possible obstacles which experienced by this area are related with the plan to open the coconut palm oil and the lack of promotion as well as the road infrastructures.

Nowadays backpacking travel is the most popular travelling style which famous to the youth traveller. According to the history, the travelling style can be tracked from the nomadic tribes in all corner of the world for their moving habit for run their life. Through the ages, the nomad who carries backpack at their back to bring necessities adopted by soldiers, explorers, and many kinds of travellers, until transformed to the modern free independent tourist (FIT) ; backpacker, flash packer to the present techno packer. The backpackers itself always become an interesting object for the scholars and the tourism experts. Their travelling style colorized every great journey that men ever made. This paper aim is to seek and identify the existence of backpackers and their travelling style throughout historical paradigm. The methods using in this research is both literatures studies and field observatory to the iconic backpacking travels sites in the history. The results show that the backpackers and backpacking travel consists of unique characteristics who determine their travelling style that different among the common tourist or even the group inclusive tour (GIT). The backpackers travels much longer, more far, they travel some time to the off beaten tracks, they always made interaction with the local community, and their journeys inspired others. No wonder if in the future backpacking travel will contributes so many influences to the tourism world.

The tourism sector is a national priority in the 2015-2019 RPJM of the Jokowi-JK government. Various parties can play an active role in opening new tourist destinations, both at local, regional, and even international levels. Many myths and legends in the community that can be used as a basis for determining the development of new tourist sites. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Recommendation material for regional selection / selection to be developed as folklore-based tourist destinations can be applied in the form of categories. The category in question is adapted from Irina-Maria Necheş (2013) as follows; the presence or absence of tangible and intangible values to be appointed, the classification of the principal values to be raised, whether mythological, religious, or historical. In other words, the effort to form an image as a regional tourism selling power in question is developed based on cultural ideas (which can be abstract) and then concretized so that visitors can enjoy them sensually.
旅游业是佐科维JK政府2015-2019年RPJM的国家优先事项。各方可以在地方、区域甚至国际层面上为开辟新的旅游目的地发挥积极作用。社区中的许多神话传说可以作为确定新旅游景点开发的依据。本研究采用描述性定性方法。作为民俗旅游目的地开发的区域选择/选择推荐材料可以以类别的形式应用。该类别改编自Irina Maria Necheş(2013),内容如下;指定的有形和无形价值的存在与否,提出的主要价值的分类,无论是神话、宗教还是历史。换言之,努力形成一个区域旅游销售力量的形象是基于文化理念(可以是抽象的),然后具体化,以便游客能够从感官上享受这些理念。

Recommendation material for regional selection / selection to be developed as folklore-based tourist destinations can be applied in the form of categories. The category in question is adapted from Irina-Maria Necheş (2013) as follows; the presence or absence of tangible and intangible values to be appointed, the classification of the principal values to be raised, whether mythological, religious, or historical. Peningkatan jumlah wisatawan muslim meningkatkan kebutuhan akan Wisata Halal. Seiring dengan fenomena tersebut teknologi pendukung kegiatan wisata semakin canggih dan mengubah pola perilaku calon wisatawan dalam berwisata. Instagram sebagai salah media sosial terpopuler di Indonesia memiliki fitur hashtag untuk mengumpulkan informasi hasil pos dari penggunanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui informasi terkait wisata halal seperti apa yang dapat ditelusur melalui hashtag #wisatahalal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan konten analisis. Pos hasil pencarian dengan hashtag #wisatahalal menjadi objek analisis pada penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penelusuran pada Instagram dengan hashtag #wisatahalal dapat ditemukan informasi mengenai paket wisata dan akomodasi halal, tips wisata halal, aktivitas pada wisata halal, objek wisata halal, dan makanan pada wisata halal. Selain hal tersebut ditemukan bahwa pemanfaatan hashtag #wisatahalal dalam melakukan promosi objek wisata, hal ini disebabkan calon wisatawan menggunakan Instagram sebagai sumber informasi dan inspirasi mereka dalam melakukan perjalanan wisata.
