Low energy consumption and green transformation of automobile product portfolio is the trend of the times. Automotive manufacturers make product portfolio decisions by setting multiple criteria such as fuel consumption, sales, and volume. It is also important to take into account the symbiotic interaction effects between automotive products. In order to achieve the above research objectives, this paper constructs the Lotka–Volterra MCGP model to make multicriteria decisions on automobile product portfolio design from the perspective of energy sustainability with BMW Brilliance is taken as an example to illustrate the process of using the multicriteria model. The empirical analysis successively measures product growth using the logistic model, analyzes the symbiotic relationship of product portfolios using the Lotka–Volterra model, and finally performs multicriteria evaluation using the MCGP model. In order to verify the reliability of the model, this paper verifies the robustness of the model from the perspectives of parameter dynamics, system boundaries, and model scalability. The results of empirical analysis and robustness analysis show that the Lotka–Volterra MCGP model proposed in this paper is applicable to the multicriteria decision-making of automobile product portfolio design from the perspective of energy sustainability.

The aim of this research work is to obtain the numerical solution of Fisher’s equation using the radial basis function (RBF) with pseudospectral method (RBF-PS). The two optimization techniques, namely, particle swarm optimization (PSO) and artificial bee colony (ABC), have been compared for the numerical results in terms of errors, which are employed to find the shape parameter of the RBF. Two problems of Fisher’s equation are presented to test the accuracy of the method, and the obtained numerical results are compared to verify the effectiveness of this novel approach. The calculation of the error norms leads to the conclusion that the performance of PSO is better than the ABC algorithm to minimize the error for the shape parameter in a given range.

Aiming at the sway velocity and uncertainties such as wind, wave, and current, a state feedback H∞ control method is proposed to improve the dynamic and steady-state performance with line of sight (LOS) law for trajectory tracking of an unmanned surface vehicle (USV). First, a novel LOS is proposed for trajectory tracking with the position error to obtain the references of surge velocity and heading angle. Second, the LPV model is established with varying parameters of the sway velocity for the USV. Third, the closed-loop system for the LPV model is established by the state feedback H∞ control method to design the controller. Since the coupling term of system coefficients in the Lyapunov stability condition is difficult to solve directly, a novel variable is introduced to decouple the stability condition, which can be solved with MATLAB LMI tools for the controller parameters. Finally, the simulation result shows that the proposed method has super performance on the dynamic and steady-state indices.

The availability of productive land is significantly impacted by the global phenomenon of urbanization. The amount of land available for food production and other essential activities decreases as cities grow because the urban perimeter encroaches on rural and natural areas. Conducting research on urban sprawl analysis and land use land cover (LULC) change assessment is essential in ensuring sustainable urban growth. Bengaluru, a rapidly expanding metropolitan city, has a significant impact on the area around it, making it a prime location for this kind of study. In this study, authors sought to assess how urban sprawl affected LULC in the Bengaluru rural district that surrounds the city of Bengaluru. The study evaluated changes in LULC over a two-decade period using remote sensing data and GIS tools. Five LULC classes were used to categorize the study area: settlement, waterbody, vegetation, agriculture, and barren land. The maximum likelihood technique was used to classify Landsat images from three different time periods using the supervised image classification method in the ERDAS software. Accuracy assessment was used to gauge the classified images’ accuracy. The study’s important findings showed how the LULC classes in the study area have been negatively impacted by the urban sprawl. The study emphasizes the significance of ongoing research in LULC change assessment and urban sprawl analysis to ensure sustainable urban growth and safeguard the availability of productive land.

In this study, a Caputo fractional derivative is employed to develop a model of malaria and HIV transmission dynamics with optimal control. Also, the model’s basic properties are shown, and the basic reproduction number is computed using the next-generation matrix method. Additionally, the order of fractional derivative analysis shows that the infected group decreases at the beginning for the higher-order of fractional derivative. Moreover, the early activation of memory effects through public health education reduces the impact of malaria and HIV infections on further progression and transmission. On the other hand, effective optimal controls reduce the occurrence and prevalence of HIV and malaria infections from the beginning to the end of the investigation. Finally, the numerical simulations are done for the justification of analytical solutions with numerical solutions of the model. Moreover, the MATLAB platform is incorporated for numerical simulation of the solutions.

The system of inherent defect insurance is an important measure to serve the real economy through financial means and improve the quality of construction projects, which is the future development direction of China’s construction industry. However, the related research is not perfect due to the short implementation of the insurance. This could bring risks to the promotion of insurance for companies. Insurance ruin theory is an important method in risk management theory, so adopting it to manage the risk inherent defect insurance from the perspective of insurance companies is vital. The research starts with the classic insurance ruin theory and determines the coefficient of premium collection from the perspective of claim settlement distribution expectations. Furthermore, the approximate distribution of claim settlement is deduced, and a comprehensive risk assessment model is constructed. Finally, based on the data of insurance actuarial practice in Shanghai, both the ruin probability of inherent defect insurance in each insuring term and its average required initial reserve are calculated, which provides the analyses on the risks and main subitems of inherent defect insurance as well as relevant suggestions. Finally, the sensitivity analysis is used to further analyse the risk of different insurance stages of IDI, and the relevant measures are proposed. The research can provide theoretical assistances for insurance companies to carry out effective risk management and provide model tools to make scientific decisions.

This paper presents synchronization of mixed continuous-discrete complex network via impulse-quantizing approach. A delay-partitioning group strategy is proposed and impulse-quantizing control is designed to derive theoretical criteria ensuring scale-type synchronization of complex networks. Our results show that synchronization of mixed continuous-discrete complex networks can be realized by controlling delay-partitioning subgroup nodes with impulsive quantization. The theoretical results give scale-limited sufficient conditions for quantized synchronization relying on control gains, impulsive intervals, and delays. A numerical simulation is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.
