Objective — To explore the application effect of lean management in optimizing nucleic acid testing process in outpatient department. Methods — A lean management team was established, and the statistics were observed on the spot. The key problems were identified by drawing fish-bone map through the flow chart of nucleic acid test of patients and the time required for each node. The lean management method was adopted to optimize and continuously improve the process. The length of waiting time of nucleic acid test patients before and after the implementation of lean management was compared, and the satisfaction questionnaire was used to analyze the difference between the reference group and the observation group. Results — After the implementation of lean management, the waiting time for nucleic acid test was reduced from 45.50 minutes to 22.36 minutes, and patient satisfaction was improved from 88.6% to 92%. Conclusions — Lean management can not only shorten the time for patients to see a doctor, improve the speed of nucleic acid testing, and patients can be effectively distributed to minimize the risk of cross-infection, improve patients' medical experience, and improve patient satisfaction.

Objective — To explore the application effect of emergency nursing process in elderly patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods — 206 elderly patients with acute cerebral infarction who received routine care in our hospital from January to December 2020 were selected as the control group, and 297 patients who received emergency nursing procedures from January to December 2021 were selected as the observation group. The treatment time, neurological function score, and living ability were compared between the two groups. Results — The triage time, referral time, and comprehensive treatment time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group (P<0.05); the neurological function scores and daily living ability scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion — The emergency nursing process can seize the best treatment time for elderly patients with acute cerebral infarction, improve the treatment effect and living ability, and is worthy of popularization and application.

Smart elderly care refers to the provision of real-time and efficient elderly care services to the elderly based on Internet technology and intelligent equipment such as big data. In the development of traditional elderly care service, Guangxi witnessed slow development in its foundation and lags behind in infrastructure construction. Smart elderly care provides a new path for the development of Guangxi elderly care industry. This study investigated the demand of the elderly in Guangxi for elderly care services, Based on the current development of elderly care services in Guangxi, three smart elderly care paths that adapt to the development characteristics of the region is proposed: community grid management + community elder security, smart home + home care, Internet + hospital health care + home care.

For nursing students, changes to course delivery a move to remote learning, as well as the disruption to clinical and simulated learning opportunities have added to the stress experienced by communities affected by lockdowns and the COVID-ig illness. [...]students feared delayed graduation, managing the academic workload, and greater stress from clinical placement. Clinical staff, who play a critical role in supporting student learning were unavailable because of the increasing complexity and workload of the pandemic.
