The Analysis of Student Learning Difficulties With Differences in Learning Outcomes Value in Elementary Linear Algebra 初等线性代数学生学习困难与学习成果价值差异的分析

Abstrak             Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kesulita belajar mahasiswa dengan nilai hasil belajar tinggi pada mata kuliah aljabar linier elementer, mendeskripsikan kesulita belajar mahasiswa dengan nilai hasil belajar sedang pada mata kuliah aljabar linier elementer, mendeskripsikan kesulita belajar mahasiswa dengan nilai hasil belajar rendah pada mata kuliah alajabar linier elementer. Jenis dari penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah 3 orang mahasiswa dengan tingkatan nilai yang berbeda. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa metode tes, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, dimana untuk menguji kredibilitas data digunakan triangulasi waktu. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu Mahasiswa dengan tingkatan nilai tinggi memiliki kesulitan belajar pada tahapan melakukan analisis, dan sintesis. Mahasiswa dengan tingkatan nilai sedang  memiliki kesulitan belajar pada tahapan melakukan analisis, sintesis dan melakukan penilaian. Mahasiswa dengan tingkatan nilai rendah memiliki kesulitan belajar pada tahapan pemahaman, analisis, sintesis dan melakukan penilaianKata kunci: kesulitan belajar, aljabar linier elementer                                                Abstrack The purpose of the research is to describe students' learning difficulties with high learning outcomes in elementary linear algebra courses, describe students' learning difficulties with moderate learning outcomes in elementary linear algebra courses, and describe students' learning difficulties with low learning outcomes in elementary linear algebra courses. This type of research is a descriptive study with qualitative research. The subjects of this study were 3 students with different grades. Data collection methods used consisted of test, interview and documentation methods, while for verification of data credibility time triangulation was used. The research results obtained are students with high grades who have learning difficulties at the stage of conducting analysis, and synthesis. Students with grades are moderate difficulties in analyzing, synthesizing and doing assessments. Interaction of Learning Mathematics and Constructive Attitudes of Students on Triangle Materials Through STAD Cooperative Learning Model STAD合作学习模式下数学学习与学生三角材料建构态度的互动

Abstrak Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas VII-A SMPN 2 Balongbendo semester genap tahun ajaran 2018/2019 dengan jumlah siswa 33 orang. Data interaksi belajar siswa dalam kelompok diperoleh dengan lembar observasi, sikap konstruktif siswa diperoleh dari angket. Berdasarkan analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa interaksi belajar matematika siswa dalam pembelajaran kooperatif yang terjadi dalam menyampaikan ide atau pendapat yaitu sebesar 53,8% untuk kelompok 1 dan 46,7% untuk kelompok 2, memberi bantuan yang disertai dengan penjelasan sebesar 15,4% untuk kelompok 1 dan 20,0% untuk kelompok 2, memberi bantuan tanpa disertai pejelasan sebesar 15,4% untuk kelompok 1 dan 13,3% untuk kelompok 2, dan interaksi belajar matematika siswa dalam meminta bantuan sebesar 15,4% untuk kelompok 1 dan 20,0% untuk kelompok 2. Sikap konstriktis siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD menunjukkan mayoritas siswa mempunyai sikap konstruktif terhadap matematika yang cukup bagus yaitu sebanyak 24 siswa dari 33 siswa Abstract The type of this research is descriptive research with qualitative approach. This research was done in class of VII-A SMPN 2 Balongbendo in second semester 2018/2019. There are thirty three students in that class. The data of students learning interaction were got from observation sheet and note and students’ constructive attitudes were got from questionnaire. Based on data analysis can be concluded that the interaction of students Mathematics learning in cooperative learning in case of delivering idea or opinion is 53,8% for first group and 46,7% for second group. In case of giving a help with some explanations is 15,4% for first group and 20,0% for second group. In case of giving a help without some explanations is 15,4% for first group and 13,3% for second group. In case of asking a help is 15,4% for first group and 20,0% for second group. Students’ constructive attitudes by using STAD type of cooperative learning show that most of students have quite good constructive attitudes about Mathematics that is twenty four of thirty three students.

Schematic Representation: How Students Creating It? 示意图:学生如何创造它?

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses terbentuknya representasi skematis murni dan representasi skematis campuran yang diciptakan oleh siswa selama menyelesaikan word problem. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif yang bersifat deskriprif. Dalam penelitian ini melibatkan 45 siswa kelas 8. Sedangkan untuk memilih subjek tidak dipilih secara acak, namun dipilih berdasarkan kemampuan siswa dalam menciptkan representasi skematik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan meminta siswa untuk menyelesaikan Tugas Pemecahan Masalah secara think aload, yaitu siswa diminta untuk menyuarakan apa yang dipikirkannya. Selain itu siswa juga menuangkan pikirannya mengunakan kertas dan pensil. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses representasi skematis murni diciptakan siswa dengan membuat gambar skema berupa garis besar dari masalah dan dilengkapi dengan beberapa keterangan pokok yang ada dalam masalah. Sedangkan proses representasi skematis campuran diciptakan siswa dengan membuat gambar skema yang dilengkapi dengan keterangan-keterangan dan gambar nyata yang sesuai dengan situasi dalam masalah. Kedua jenis representasi skematis ini sangat efektif dalam membantu siswa dalam menyelesaikan word problem. Abstract This study aims to describe the process of formation of pure schematic representation and mixed schematic representation created by students during solving word problem. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. In this study involving 45 students 8th grade. While to select the subject not selected at random, but selected based on the ability of students in creating schematic representation. The data collection is done by asking the students to solve the Problem-solving Tasks of think a load, ie the students are asked to voice what they think. In addition students also pour their minds using paper and pencil. The results of this study indicate that the process of pure schematic representation is created by creating schematic drawings in the form of an outline of the problem and supplemented with some basic information that exists in the problem. While the process of mixed schematic representation was created by the students by drawing schematic drawings with explanations and real images that fit the situation in the problem. Both types of schematic representation is very effective in assisting students in solving word problem.

Abstrak Salah satu faktor yang dapat mendukung kemampuan profesional guru adalah penguasaan guru tentang ilmu psikologi kognitif. Salah satu kajian dari ilmu kognitif adalah tentang bagaimana siswa belajar. Tulisan ini membahas tentang bagaimana pemahaman terhadap definisi berkembang dalam pikiran siswa. Seorang guru tidak hanya memfasilitasi siswa untuk memiliki konsep definisi sebaiknya sampai memiliki konsep image. Abstract One factor that can support the teacher's professional abilities is the mastery of the teacher about cognitive psychology. One study of cognitive science is about how students learn. This paper discusses how understanding of definitions develops in the minds of students. A teacher does not only facilitate students to have a definition concept, it is better to have an image concept.

Translation Between Mathematical Representation: How Students Unpack Source Representation? 数学表示之间的转换:学生如何解开源表示?

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memeriksa aktrivitas mahasiswa pada tahap unpack the source ketika melakukan translasi representasi verbal ke grafik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 20 mahasiswa pendidikan matematika. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes disertai think aloud. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas mahasiswa dalam membongkar sumber (unpack the source) adalah membaca masalah dengan teliti, menggambar skema dari situasi verbal, mengidentifikasi hal yang diketahui, mengidentifikasi hal yang ditanyakan, meninterpretasi informasi dan mengidentifikasi informasi baru. Abstract This study aimed to examine the activity of students in unpacking the source during the translation process of verbal to the graph representations. This research was a qualitative descriptive study. Subject of this study are twenty students of mathematics education program. The data were collected through the think-aloud test. The results showed that the activities of students in unpacking the source are reading the questions carefully, drawing the scheme of the verbal situation, identifying the things that are known, identifying the things that are asked, interpreting information and identifying new information. Schemes facilitate students in unpacking the source. The results of this research can be used as consideration to minimize the difficulties of students in unpacking the source when performing translation of verbal to the graph representation. This research is also limited to the representation translation from verbal to graph representation, has not examined the other representation such as verbal to symbolic or otherwise. So, those problem can be examined in the next research.

Abstrak Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan mendeskripsikan kemampuan Problem Posing siswa kelas VII SMPN 4 Kintamani terutama pada dimensi kreatif. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, diketahui bahwa siswa Kelas VII secara umum sudah mulai menunjukkan kreativitasnya dalam mengajukkan soal/pertanyaan berkaitan dengan matematika. Disamping itu, pemberian soal-soal matematika berbasis Ethnomathematics atau Mathematical Problem based Ethnomathematics (MPbE) memberikan warna tersendiri dalam diskusi kelas, karena bagi siswa merupakan hal baru. Mereka baru menyadari bahwa berbagai aktivitas agama dan budaya yang selama ini dilakukan berkaitan dan bahkan kaya dengan konsep-konsep matematika seperti yang mereka pelajari di sekolah. Abstract This is descriptive research. The research aims to explore and describe the ability of Problem-Posing of class VII students of State Junior High School 4 Kintamani notably in the creative dimension. Based on the data obtained, it is found out that generally, Class VII students started to demonstrate their creativity in asking questions/problem related to mathematics. Moreover, by giving mathematical Problem-based Ethnomathematics (MPbE) provides its own coloring in the class discussions, for it is new to the students. They have just realized that the various religious and cultural activities that had been carried out were related to and even rich in mathematical concepts just likewhat they had learned in school.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara social support dengan emosionalitas siswa dalam pemecahan masalah matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain korelasional. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan purposive sampling dengan subyek penelitiannya siswa kelas XI IPA 2 sebanyak 39 siswa dan kelas XI IPA 3 sebanyak 40 siswa di MAN 2 Majalengka. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket pernyataan terhadap social support dan emosionalitas siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Besaran social support yang diberikan terhadap siswa sebesar 81% dalam kategori sangat kuat dan kondisi emosionalitas siswa sebesar 81% dalam kategori sangat kuat. Selain itu, Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukan bahwa t_hitung 5,527 dengan nilai signifikansi 5,527> 2,000. Maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, sehingga dapat maknai bahwa social support berhubungan dengan emosionalitas siswa dalam pemecahan masalah matematika. This research is a quantitative study using correlational design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with the subjects of the XI IPA 2 class as many as 39 students and XI IPA 3 classes as many as 40 students in MAN 2 Majalengka. The data collection technique uses statement questionnaires for students' social support and emotionality. The results of this study indicate that the amount of social support given to students is 81% in the very strong category and the emotionality of students is 81% in the very strong category. In addition, the results of hypothesis testing indicate that t count is 5.527 with a significance value of 5.527> 2,000. Then HO is rejected and Ha is accepted so that it can mean that social support is related to student emotionality in mathematical problems solving.

Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas VIII Sekolah Menengah Atas di Kecamatan Kontukowuna, Kabupaten Muna, Sulawesi Tenggara pada tahun 2016/2017. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui penyediaan empat item pertanyaan instrumen tes keterampilan berpikir kritis, di mana setiap pertanyaan mewakili indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis dan lembar observasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji t satu sampel. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa nilai uji t 2,719> (t_0,05,27) = 2,0518, yang dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing efektif dalam hal kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMP. Hasil ini didukung oleh peningkatan rata-rata pretest 27,66 ke posttest 76,00 yang lebih tinggi dari kriteria penguasaan mengajar minimum (KKM) dari 70. Population in this research was all VIII grader students of Senior High School in sub-district Kontukowuna, Muna districts, Southeast Sulawesi in 2016/2017. Data collection was obtained through the provision of four items of question of critical thinking skills test instrumen, where each question represents an indicator of critical thinking ability and observation sheet of learning implementation. Research result was analyzed using one sample t test. The findings showed that t test value 2,719> (t_0.05,27) = 2.0518, which can be concluded that the guided discovery learning method was effective in terms of the critical thinking ability of junior high school students. This result was supported by the increase of average of pretest 27.66 to posttest 76.00 which was higher than the minimum teaching mastery criteria (KKM) of 70.

Mathematics has always been a difficult subject for the students. Math learning in the classroom is often a very tedious process for most students. Many students are unmotivated to study mathematics, which means that the disposition of students in learning mathematics is lacking. Mathematical dispositions relate to student attitudes, the tendency to think and act positively in learning mathematics. One of the extracurricular activities that students are interested in is the Extrakurikuler Scout activities. Students are always eager to follow the activities in these activities. This means that the education system contained in the Boy Scouts is able to attract students' attention and be able to motivate students. Even when students are given difficult challenges, students seem to be passionate and happy to follow the challenge. This means students have a positive attitude in following Scout activities. This is certainly when applied in the learning of mathematics will be able to make students feel happy to attend math lessons. So that in the end can make students' mathematics learning outcomes for the better.Keyword: Math lesson, Scout, math disposision

Modifikasi Model Analisis Structural Equation Model (Sem) pada Reaksi Pasar di Perusahaan Bursa Efek Indonesia Melalui Modification Indices

Abstrak Pergerakan reaksi pasar dan rasio keuangan beserta Economic Value Added menjadi topik hangat terutama dengan berkembangnya pasar modal di tanah air. Melalui SEM, model yang dihasilkan mampu mengkontruks indikator-indikator rasio keuangan terhadap pergerakan saham. SEM merupakan pemodelan kuantitatif faktor-faktor yang menunjukkan hubungan sebab akibat antara beberapa faktor dependen dan independen melalui indikator-indikatornya. Analisis SEM merupakan kombinasi dari analisis faktor (Confirmatory Factor Analysis), analisis jalur (Path Analysis) dan analisis regresi. Untuk mendapatkan model yang lebih baik, maka analisis ini dipadukan dengan mengkorelasikan error berdasarkan Modification indices. Modification indices akan mengakibatkan terjadinya penurunan Chi-square serta terjadi perubahan nilai CMINDF dan RMSEA menjadi semakin baik. Begitupula pada p-value, GFI, dan TLI. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengaruh korelasi antar measurement error dalam variabel rasio keuangan dalam variabel reaksi pasar dan antar variabel EVA mengakibatkan perubahan yang signifikan pada kebaikan model. Kata Kunci: Reaksi pasar, modification indices, SEM Abstract Market reaction movements and financial ratios and also the Economic Value Added are becoming hot topics, especially with the development of capital markets in the our country. Through SEM, the resulting model is able to construct indicators of financial ratios to stock movements. SEM is a quantitative modeling of factors that show a causal relationship between several dependent and independent factors through its indicators. SEM analysis is a combination of factor analysis (Confirmatory Factor Analysis), path analysis (Path Analysis) and regression analysis. To get a better model, this analysis is combined by correlating errors based on Modification indices. Modification indices will cause a decrease in Chi-square and changes in CMINDF and RMSEA values will be better. Likewise on p-value, GFI, and TLI. So that it can be concluded that the effect of the correlation between measurement errors in financial ratio variables in the market reaction variable and between EVA variables resulted in a significant change in the goodness of the model.
