Tunable spectral enhancement of supercontinuum with long-period gratings 长周期光栅对超连续谱的可调谐增强

We demonstrate tunable spectral enhancement of supercontinuum with a long-period grating. The spectral loss of the grating evolves into a peak whose position can be tuned by varying the temperature or the ambient index around the grating.

An Implement of Clock Phase Alignment for Burst-Mode Data Recovery in GPON GPON突发模式数据恢复中的时钟相位对准实现

This paper presents an implement of a broadband clock phase alignment (CPA) for burst mode data recovery deployed in passive optical networks (PON) which are designed to deliver gigabit data rates to the home. A fast and robust CPA has been designed and demonstrated based on the over-sampling & tap-selection technique that the incoming preamble containing a repeated "1010" bit sequence is sampled with multiple clock phases and selects the phase-tap.

A novel cryptographic technique based on forward scattering of light by an air structured fibre is proposed and demonstrated. The interference fringe pattern dependence on the fibre angular orientation and incident beam properties is also exploited.

A novel optical add-drop multiplexer using arrayed waveguide grating is proposed for optical transport networks. By use of circulators in the coupled fold-back paths between demultiplexed channels, we improve the loss margin and crosstalk performances.

All-Optical Digital Logic Circuit based on NOR-Only Two-Level Simplification Method 基于no - only两级简化法的全光数字逻辑电路

For the first time, we suggest the application of NOR-only two-level simplification method for the construction of flexible all-optical digital logic circuit. Arbitrary Boolean function operation and decoding of gray code to binary coded decimal (BCD) are demonstrated with the suggested approach.

A new optical time division demultiplexing technique is presented using a Mach-Zehdner modulator in a fiber loop mirror. Bit-error rate measurements show high- performance 4:1 demultiplexing of an 80 Gb/s optical signal to 20 Gb/s channels.
