Analysis and optimization of air-core permanent magnet linear synchronous motors with overlapping concentrated windings for ultra-precision applications 超精密用集中重叠绕组空芯永磁直线同步电机的分析与优化

This paper presents the analysis and optimization of air-core permanent magnet linear synchronous motor with overlapping concentrated windings to achieve high thrust density, high thrust per copper losses and low thrust ripple. For the motor design, we adopt equivalent magnetizing current (EMC) method to analyse the magentic field and give analytical formulae for calculation of motor parameters such as no-load back EMF, dynamic force, thrust density and thrust per copper losses. Further, we proposed a multi-objective optimization by genetic algorithm to search for the optimum parameters. The design optimization is verified by 2-D Finite Element analysis (FEA).
本文对具有重叠集中绕组的空芯永磁直线同步电动机进行了分析和优化,以实现高推力密度、高单位铜损推力和低推力脉动。在电机设计中,采用等效磁化电流(EMC)法对电机磁场进行分析,给出了电机空载反电动势、动势、推力密度、每铜损耗推力等参数的计算解析公式。在此基础上,提出了一种基于遗传算法的多目标优化算法。通过二维有限元分析(FEA)验证了设计的优化。

Study of a light-received system with configuration of a plant shoot 植物梢形光接收系统的研究

It is thought that plants have evolved to modulate the amount of light received by the leaves in order to competition for survival. Investigation of a plant shoot configuration is used to obtain valuable information concerning the received light system. As an example, it is thought that the leaves of various shape has a role important about the received light characteristics of the plant individual. In this research, we performed a numerical experiment that simulates the plant shoot by using a genetic algorithm analysis program in order to investigate the received light characteristics of a plant shoot. As a result, the relation between the placement of plant shoot of various shapes and the light-receiving amount is clarified.

Basic study of IPMSM with high-temperature superconducting wire rod 高温超导线材永磁同步电机的基础研究

It is important to improve the efficiencies motors to overcome problems such as decreasing energy reserves and environmental pollution. Superconductors are promising for developing high-efficiency motors. However, superconducting wires must be kept in critical conditions and the AC loss needs to be minimized. In this paper, a design of a superconducting interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) is proposed that reduces the AC loss. The characteristics of superconducting and normal-conducting IPMSMs are compared. The proposed superconducting IPMSM has a low AC loss and a very high efficiency at low speeds.

Power flow control of Modular Multilevel Converter based on double-star bridge cells applying to grid connection 基于双星桥单元的模块化多电平变换器并网潮流控制

The Modular Multilevel Converter (MMC) with full bridge cells is available for utility interactive inverter in high voltage line. When it is interconnected with power line, it is possible to control the active power flow so as to supply or charge the power in the power line. This research applied the MMC to grid connection system of distributed generator. Theory of the power flow control of the MMC related to control capacitor voltage on arm cells is proposed. And effectiveness of the control method is presented by simulation.

Detent force analysis in permanent magnet linear synchronous motor considering longitudinal end effects 考虑纵向端面效应的永磁直线同步电机制动力分析

This paper presents a uniform analytical model by energy method and Fourier series expansion to analyze detent force in uneven magnetic field for permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM). The model reveals that detent force in long-primary type is mainly influenced by non-ideal distribution of permanent magnet magnetic motive force, while nounified air-gap permeance makes a great impact on detent force of short-primary type. Hence, magnetic field similarity of motor design techniques referring rotary counterpart are adopted. For long-primary type novel method of splitting edge magnets is proposed to reduce end effects force, and optimal widths of edge tooth in short-primary type also verify the effectiveness of magnetic field similarity. The experimental results validate finite element analysis results.

Small signal stability analysis of doubly fed induction generator including SDBR 含SDBR的双馈感应发电机小信号稳定性分析

This paper presents small signal stability analysis of a doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) based wind farm including series dynamic braking resistor (SDBR) connected at the stator side. A detailed mathematical model of wind turbine, DFIG machine and converters and SDBR is presented in this paper to derive the complete dynamic equations of the studied system. Small signal stability of this system is carried out by modal and sensitivity analysis, participation factors and eigenvalue analysis. Finally, this paper presents an analysis of the dynamic behavior of DFIG based wind farm under voltage dip condition with and without SDBR.

Practical design considerations for large PM machines 大型PM机器的实用设计考虑

To help machine designers to design large permanent magnet (PM) machines to be more accurate, this paper presents a set of design considerations that are very often ignored by machine designers. These considerations are categorized into several aspects: electromagnetic (EM) performance, losses and efficiency, fault and stability, and some other issues. The effects of various practical factors are presented and some corresponding design methods are introduced.

Fundamental analysis for a ferrite permanent magnet axial gap motor with coreless rotor structure 无铁芯转子结构铁氧体永磁轴向间隙电机的基本分析

In general, a rare-earth permanent magnet that has large energy product is used for traction motors mounted on hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs). However, it is necessary to develop rare-earth-free motors for the HEV traction motors owing to several problems such as price hike and export restriction of rare-earth materials. In this paper, a ferrite permanent magnet axial gap motor with coreless rotor structure is introduced as the rare-earth-free motor. In addition, the motor structure and the results of 3D-FEA are described in detail.

Operation planning of a compound energy system using orthogonal table-GA hybrid analyzing method 基于正交表遗传算法的复合能源系统运行规划

Analysis using GA is capable of responding flexibly to operational planning of a complex system. However, case of large system, requires lengthy analysis time, generates many suboptimal solution, and unsatisfactory solutions of energy balance equations are obtained. Objective of this study is to develop a computer algorithm for planning operation of compound energy system with many design parameters with a high accuracy by introducing orthogonal table in GA. Orthogonal table is introduced to reduce operation range that is considered to include optimal operation of compound energy system. By analysis results, orthogonal table-GA hybrid method is a significant improvement over optimization methods that employ to traditional GA, and can be utilized to increase of design parameters and improve of analysis accuracy.

Study on generation of harmonic voltage using synchronous machine with d-axis and q-axis harmonic field windings 采用d轴和q轴谐波绕组同步电机产生谐波电压的研究

We examined the generation of harmonic voltage by a synchronous machine adding d-axis and q-axis harmonic field windings in order to reduce the harmonics in a power line. We derived the expressions of the armature voltage in the case of supplying the currents with the frequency nf to the d-axis and q-axis harmonic field windings. We constructed the synchronous machine adding the harmonic windings. In this paper, the expressions and the experimental results on the generation of harmonic voltages by the synchronous machine are presented.
