Comparison of three magnet array-type rotors in surface permanent magnet-type vernier motor 表面永磁式游标电机中三种磁体阵列转子的比较

Surface permanent magnet-type vernier motors with three magnet array-type rotors (parallel magnetized type, repulsion type, and Halbach type) are compared based on the pull-out torque. It was clarified that increasing the rotor radius increases the pull-out torque at a fixed three-phase alternating voltage. The mechanism for the pull-out torque increase on each magnet array type was different, when the effects of the increase were analyzed based on an induced electromotive force and a synchronous reactance. As a result, the design of the Halbach-type rotor was found to be especially effective for achieving high pull-out torque, because this array type achieves a large induced electromotive force E0 and a small synchronous reactance xs.

A study of vehicle fuel consumption simulation using VHDL-AMS multi-domain simulation 基于VHDL-AMS多域仿真的汽车油耗仿真研究

The vehicle system is a multi-domain system, so that computer simulation technique has become an indispensable tool for vehicle system development. Our research group proposed a simulation modeling method based on the VHDL-AMS language. This paper describes how VHDL-AMS is used to model of vehicle fuel consumption simulation. We examine the influence of the power-network with electrical load and hill climb resistance in the vehicle running resistance.

Compensating characteristics of voltage sag compensator utilizing single-phase matrix converter 利用单相矩阵变换器的电压暂降补偿器的补偿特性

By using simulation, compensating characteristics of a voltage sag compensator utilizing single-phase matrix converter is examined. System configuration is described and mathematical model of single-phase matrix converter is derived by using the state space averaging method. In addition, the single-phase matrix converter is stabilized by phase-lead compensation. Finally, compensating characteristics of the compensator is investigated for 500W R-L load and it is demonstrated that the compensator can operate correctly for loads for the range of power factor 0.6 (lagging) - 0.8 (leading) and for up to 50% voltage sag.

Stabilization of fixed speed wind generator by using variable speed PM wind generator in multi-machine power system 变速永磁风力发电机在多机电力系统中的稳定作用

This paper present stabilization control of fixed speed wind generator by using variable speed permanent magnet wind generator in a wind farm connected with multi-machine power system. A novel direct-current based d-q vector control technique of back to back converter integrated with Fuzzy Logic Controller for optimal control configuration is proposed, in which both active and reactive powers delivered to a power grid system are controlled effectively. Simulation analyses have been performed using PSCAD/EMTDC. Simulation results show that the proposed control scheme is very effective to enhance the voltage stability of the wind farm during fault condition.

A novel approach for the unit commitment with vehicle-to-grid 一种车辆到电网的机组承诺新方法

The electrical vehicles (EV) with vehicle-to-grid (V2G) capability can be used as loads, energy sources and energy storage in MicroGrid integrated with renewable energy sources. The output power of generators will be reallocated in the considering of V2G. An intelligent unit commitment (UC) with V2G for cost optimization is presented in this paper. A new constraint of UC with V2G is considered to satisfy daily use of EVs. A hybrid optimization algorithm combined Binary Particle Swarm Optimization (BPSO) with Lagrange Multipliers Method (LMM) is proposed. The difference between results of UC with V2G and UC without V2G is presented.

Analysis and failure diagnosis of squirrel-cage induction motor with broken rotor 鼠笼式异步电动机转子破碎的分析与故障诊断

This paper investigates the diagnosis of not only broken-bar but also broken-end ring faults. The difference between the broken bar and broken end ring is clarified experimentally by the Fourier analysis and the wavelet analysis of stator current. Moreover, the electromagnetic field in the healthy rotor and the rotor with broken bar is analyzed to clarify the effect of the failures.

Sinusoidal back-EMF of vernier Permanent Magnet machines 游标永磁电机的正弦反电动势

Sinusoidal back-EMF waveform of vernier Permanent Magnet (PM) machines is analyzed in this paper. An analytical expression of Electromotive Force (EMF) of electric machines including vernier machines is developed to analyze EMF harmonics, and the effect of vernier PM machine pole ratio, the ratio of number of rotor poles to stator poles, on the EMF waveform. Moreover, this paper represents several Finite Element Analysis (FEA) models to verify the analysis based on the proposed expression, and the effect of tooth width ratio, which is the ratio of tooth width to tooth pitch, on back-EMF of vernier PM machines, and optimal tooth width ratio is obtained and verified by FEA. Finally, this paper makes comparisons between EMF waveform of vernier PM machines and that of traditional PM machines from the point of view of analytical EMF expression.

Output maximization of salient-pole synchronous machines by using additional permanent magnets 利用附加永磁体实现凸极同步电机输出最大化

In this study, we investigate the output maximization of salient-pole synchronous machines by using small amount of Nd-Fe-B magnets. First, the mechanism of output increase by the additional magnets is revealed by using both finite element method and simple magnetic circuit. Then, the appropriate magnet shape and rotor core design are discussed. The experimental verification is carried out by using prototype machines. The advantages of the proposed design are confirmed.

A turnout without movable parts for magnetically levitated vehicles with hybrid magnets 采用混合磁体的磁悬浮车辆用无活动部件的道岔

This paper describes a turnout without movable parts for magnetically levitated vehicles with hybrid magnets, which have been studied by the authors in place of street cars. Their low construction cost and low maintenance are key to their practical use. Magnetic levitation systems using forces of attraction can generate guidance force automatically, but the damping force against lateral motion is negligible. However, the lateral damping characteristic was improved by using divided iron type magnets and rails. Using this turnout without movable parts will facilitate smooth direction switching.

This paper report on experimental results of 5-level inverter by DC divided link voltage.
