Transient stability assessment of synchronous generator in power system with high-penetration photovoltaics 高渗透光伏发电系统同步发电机暂态稳定性评估

As photovoltaic (PV) capacity in power system increases, the capacity of synchronous generator needs to be reduced relatively. This leads to the lower system inertia and the higher generator reactance, and hence the generator transient stability may negatively be affected. In particular, the impact on the transient stability may become more serious when the considerable amounts of PV systems are disconnected simultaneously during voltage sag. In this work, the generator transient stability in the power system with significant PV penetration is assessed by a numerical simulation. In order to assess the impact from various angles, simulation parameters such as levels of PV penetration, variety of power sources (inverter or rotational machine), and existence of LVRT capability are considered. The simulation is performed by using PSCAD/EMTDC software.

Improved performance of independent two induction motor drives fed by a four-leg inverter with vector control method 采用矢量控制方法改进了由四腿逆变器驱动的两台独立感应电机的性能

This paper presents the experimental results of the independent drives of two induction motors (IMs) fed by a four-leg inverter with vector control method. The inverter consists of four legs and two capacitors connected in a series. Recently the four-leg inverter and four switch inverter have been studied, but they have several disadvantages. First, the balanced three-phase current cannot be obtained. Second, the drift phenomenon is happened by the two capacitor voltages fluctuation. This paper analyzes the cause of the unbalanced three-phase current and resolves about it by vector control method. Next, the independent drive of two IMs fed by the four-leg inverter with the vector control method is demonstrated by the experimental results. Moreover, comparing experimental result and previous result, value of compensation method is shown.
