In order to reduce power loss of lightning shield line on lightning protection system of photovoltaic grid-connected power, the paper presented a method of using multiple impedance to insolate lightning shield line and pole-tower, in order to reduce induction voltage and current passing lightning shield line, and the EMTP program has simulated the method, and the simulation results proved its feasibility and effectiveness. But the system sequence impedance will also change following, so it is necessary to adjust the setting value of the whole system protection in order to meet demands of thunder lightning shield protection on photovoltaic grid-connected system.

The work in this paper presents the foldover-free condition for locally constrained image warping. It is based on the radius of influence region and the distance of source and target point, i.e., their proportional relation. The condition is tight, sufficient, but not necessary, and can be used to ensure one-to-one property maintained during the deformation process. Under this condition, the desired image warping without overlap can be obtained.

This paper aims at the high Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) problem, which will occasionally reach the amplifier saturation region and therefore result in signal distortion in OFDM system. By combining the improved C transformation (μ law compression) and the Partial Transmit Sequence (PTS), we present a new method to modify the PAPR property of OFDM system. The simulation results show that the new scheme can get better improvement on PAPR property, compared with the two methods used separately. In addition, the improvement is obtained at the expense of a little BER property of OFDM system as well as a little calculation complexity.

In this paper, a theoretical model is established, which describes the motion of the specimen of the ultrasonic feeding device. By using this model, the nonlinear contact force between the specimen and the oscillator, the tangential displacement and the tangential velocity of the specimen can be calculated, and then tangential motion and the normal motion of the specimen can be analyzed. Finally, this model is used to explain the experimental result of the impact of the specimen on the cantilever.

In this paper, the characteristics of power lithium-ion batteries is studied. And a non-energy-consuming charging balance system which is controlled by the MCU is designed. In this system the differential amplifier is used to detect each cell voltage of the batteries continuously. The inductors, replace the resistors, is used to bypass the full-charged cell, so the waste of energy can be avoided. At the end of the paper, the results of the experiment balancing a four-cell pack in the charging process are given. From the results, we can conclude that this system can protect batteries from over-charged effectively.

An efficient algorithm for computing 10-point DFT, which can contribute fast algorithms to more N-point DFTs, is developed. The computation of one 10-point DFT requires only 20 real multiplications, 84 real additions and 4 real right-shiftings 2 bits. According to the principles of decimation-in-time (DIT) or decimation-in-frequency (DIF) or double factors algorithm and the efficient algorithm of 10-point DFT, 10M, 10×M, 2M×10, 4M×10-point DFT have their own efficient algorithms, respectively. Distributed Generation (DG) can bring support to distribution system, meanwhile, it bring unbalancedness in power source, load and line. Traditional load flow algorithms are not applicable to the weakly meshed distribution system with DGs. First, this paper present a direct algorithm based on BIBC matrix and BCBV matrix. With some improvement it is applicable to unbalanced and weakly meshed system. Then with sensitivity compensation method, this paper improve this three phase power flow algorithm, make it can deal with distribution system with DGs of wind turbines, photovoltaic system, fuel cells, storage battery, microturbines, etc.. This algorithm is proved in 33 nodes system.

This paper explicates the simple design of the miniature Tesla coil that have advantages compared to the typical Tesla Coil, which normally has mobility issues due to their bulky size. The proposed design has a similar functionality with the typical Tesla coil where it is able to produce medium voltage with high frequency current at the secondary circuit side. The significant part of the proposed design is that it is without alternating current voltage at the input voltage. The design only needs a low direct current voltage as an input for the primary circuit. According to the Pspice simulation, it proved that the proposed design has the capability to step up the energy and voltage at the secondary winding at least fifty times greater compared to the input voltage. The miniature Tesla coil that has been proposed in this paper is recommended to be use for advance studies particularly on wireless energy evolution.
