Influence of defects on insulating properties of XLPE cable 缺陷对交联聚乙烯电缆绝缘性能的影响

The influence of defects on the insulating properties of XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) cables was studied using XLPE cables containing artificial defects. It was confirmed that the AC breakdown strength of the cables decreases with the increase of void size, while the existence of voids does not have any effect on impulse breakdown strength. The contaminants and the protrusions decrease both AC and impulse breakdown strengths. The value of the life exponent, n, of the V-t characteristics of the XLPE cable containing voids was estimated to be smaller than that of the cables containing contaminants or protrusions. In addition to to the influence of those defects on initial and long-term performance of the cables, the influence of impulse voltage on the long-term performance of the cable, together with the behavior of the space charge accumulated around the defects, was investigated. It was found that impulse voltage greatly affects the long-term performance of cables containing voids.<>

A new equivalent circuit of dielectrics with space charge 带空间电荷的新型介质等效电路

The electrical properties of polyether insulation for enameled wires have been considered. A novel equivalent circuit of a dielectric with space charge is proposed. The characteristics of the circuit, including the time dependence of residual voltage, have been calculated. It was demonstrated that the circuit can successfully explain nonlinear processes in dielectrics. The model is particularly applicable to the description of the physical processes in dielectrics with space charge, especially in thin polymeric insulation, where the interface layers have a pronounced influence.<>

Photoexcited changes in near-surface electromechanical properties of some dielectric crystals are investigated. A consistent semiphenomenological model treatment, based on microscopic considerations, is proposed. The interpretation of electrohydrodynamic mobility under unipolar injection in dielectric liquids 介电液体中单极注入下电流体动力学迁移率的解释

The EHD (Electrohydrodynamic) mobility with unipolar injection in the transient regime has been investigated theoretically in terms of the EHD interfacial instability. A new expression of the transient EHD mobility is given by considering the dynamics of the interface between the space charge layer in front of the injecting electrode and the bulk of the dielectric liquid. It is shown that the EHD mobility depends on not only the ( in / rho )/sup 1/2/, but also on the characteristics of the interface and electrode separation. The dynamics of the space charge/liquid interface plays a very important role in the conduction process, especially in the dielectric liquids in which the ion 'injection' is the predominant mechanism of providing charge carriers. The type of instability proposed leads directly to the observed EHD delay time, mobility, and fine filamentary structure of the transient electroconvection which has been observed experimentally.<>

EHD instabilities registration in liquids 液体中的EHD不稳定性记录

Results of experimental EHD (electrohydrodynamic) instability studies on glycerine caused by high voltage pulses are presented. Space-charge-region formation and flow indication were based on the temperature dependence of conductivity and refraction index. This made it possible to register the EHD instability by an optical method at the early period of formation. Results of delay time measurements are compared with well-known theoretical estimations.<>

Dielectric spectrum of cryoprotective solution at low temperature 低温下低温保护液的介电谱

The dielectric properties of physiological saline and cryoprotective solution (ternary solution) have been measured as a function of temperature (-80-0 degrees C) and frequency (1-10 kHz). It is experimentally found that, when ternary solution is slowly frozen, anomalous high permittivity occurs and then changes rapidly in a certain temperature range. The drift and diffusion of zwitterions lead to the high permittivity when the ternary solution is slowly frozen. The relaxation of zwitterions, Maxwell-Wagner, and H/sub 2/O molecules contributes to the dielectric spectrum. A new polarized model has been presented and successfully used to explain the dielectric properties of the samples. The relationship between the eutectic and the temperature at which tan delta reaches its maximum value in the dielectric temperature spectrum may find application in cryobiology, since crystallization of liquid is one of the main reasons of cell death in the process of being slowly frozen.<>

On the monitoring of the degradation of outdoor organic insulation 关于室外有机保温层降解的监测

Degradation phenomena which occur in correspondence with some interfaces which are present in organic composite insulation for outdoor high voltage applications are discussed. In particular, on the basis of the data obtained from either accelerated or environmental aging tests carried out on cycloaliphatic epoxies, results are presented regarding the effect of the applied electric field on the surface degradation of samples and the differences in the dielectric behavior due to sorbed water in filled vs. pure epoxies. The results obtained demonstrate that the presence of the inorganic phase in filled epoxies modifies the dielectric response of water-conditioned materials compared to that of the pure resin. Moreover, higher values of the electric field on the surface produce increased localized material alterations, which in turn cause the lowering of relevant electrical parameters such as the surface resistivity.<>

Underwater pulse discharge (UPD) and its technological applications 水下脉冲放电及其技术应用

The numerical modeling of the explosion of thin metallic wires in water is considered. For cylindrical geometry the set of hydrodynamical equations was solved numerically using a real expression for the equation of state, and electrical conductivity. A comparison between calculation and experimental data was made based on the numerical results. changes of state for different parts of the discharge channel during UPD (underwater pulse discharge) on the phase diagram were examined. Finally, some technological units that use UPD energy are examined.<>
