Mathematical modelling of kink effect in deep-submicron FDSOIMOSFET 深亚微米FDSOIMOSFET中扭结效应的数学建模

The kink effect has been observed in deep-submicron Fully Depleted Silicon-On-Insulator (FDSOI) MOSFETs and the corresponding devices have also been studied through physical modelling and simulation. The current work is an endeavour to put forward a mathematical model for the kink effect as observed in deep-submicron MOSFETs which is found to agree with the modelling and simulation results obtained by other researchers in the field.

A CPW fed antenna for millimetre wave applications 用于毫米波应用的CPW馈电天线

An wideband antenna with CPW feeding operating over millimeter wave frequency band which is more than 111 GHz is proposed here. The antenna displayed impedance bandwidth for VSWR ≤ 2 is 16 GHz at 170 GHz with a return loss of -35 dB. The antenna is suitable for millimeter wave communication technologies.

New approach of a conceptual solar thermal steam generator and its design &optimization 概念太阳能热蒸汽发生器的新方法及其设计与优化

Concepts for solar thermal power systems are based on parabolic trough, tower or parabolic disks either heating molten salts, mineral oil, and air or generating steam. In this research work we propose, a new design approach of a solar steam generator/boiler. We have used a design tool here for optimization of system efficiency considering different subsystem efficiency. This concept comes from the conventional thermal power plants boiler, with the difference that the heat comes from mirrors that concentrate the solar radiation on its external absorbing side at open air, instead of fuel flames heating its internal tube grid. The results of our conceptual design show how much plant performance is achievable, comparable with the most advanced solar concepts. From analysis of this innovative solar boiler applied to electricity production, it is found that overall efficiency of the conversion from direct solar irradiation energy to electricity is above 20%, which is comparable to the value of parabolic trough and central tower technologies. With best of our knowledge, no one has reported this kind of work.

Realization of adaptive beamforming in smart antennas on a reconfigurable architecture 基于可重构结构的智能天线自适应波束形成的实现

This paper proposes an efficient beamforming algorithm that suits well in smart antennas for the secured wireless communications. Also, its subsequent implementation methodology on a reconfigurable structure of the Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) chip is presented. As antenna unit, a linear array with uniform inter-element spacing and non-uniform element excitations is considered. With reference to a pre-specified template of Cosine-squared beamforming function, array element excitation coefficients are determined iteratively with well-known Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) technique. Adaptive beamformer circuit is realized with Finite State Machine (FSM) modeling and COordinate Rotation DIgital Computer (CORDIC) functional blocks. System performance is evaluated under the Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) and Rayleigh fading channel conditions. Multiple fixed-point hardware level simulations are made on the Xilinx Virtex-4 environments and the results in terms of beamforming accuracy and system complexities so obtained with less errors and lower computational overheads, corroborate its competency compared to the existing systems.

Measurement of electrical conductivity of thin film composed of green synthesized copper nanoparticles 绿色合成纳米铜薄膜电导率的测定

In this study, we reported a simple, clean and green synthetic process of copper nanoparticles from copper sulphate using Cinnamomum tamala (tejpatra) leaf extract. Formation of copper nanoparticle was examined at regular intervals using ultraviolet visible (UV-Vis) spectroscopy. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) revealed the crystalline nature and morphology of the produced nanoparticles respectively. The result of Fourier transform infra-red (FTIR) spectroscopy of these nanoparticles indicated the presence of a few organic moieties associated with capping and surface stabilization of the colloidal particles. Thin film of these biogenic copper nanoparticles was prepared and further exposed to various voltage levels to study its conductive behaviour and the result showed the semiconducting nature of the thin film at room temperature.

SVM- A novel trust measurement system in cloud service 支持向量机——一种新的云服务信任度量系统

Though security measurement in cloud has become more mature and self-determining in last few years, rather than being solely dependent on vendors for trusting the cloud service, trust management is still a challenging issue for cloud researchers. Instead of having some amazing qualities like virtualization potential, high storage capacity, multi tenancy , high service availability - the only obstacle to adapt the cloud technology in a huge scale, is till now its security and trust issue. Trust being a qualitative factor can be established and determined independently and several algorithms are there to establish trust in a cloud system. This paper focuses on measuring the strength of cloud security by establishing trust, using some measurement index and with the help of some known parameters.

this paper presents the impact of utilizing the Simulation and Restoration of Electro medical signals with speedy sampling rate and subsequent acquisition. Varied nature of signals related to ECG, EMG, EEG, Tomographic, Resonance and Imaging are reported. The aim of this research is the continuous monitoring under critical environment to provide on dot medical attention and support. There is a singularized platform with multiaxial time sharing facility which makes the ease of viewing correlation which benefits us to reduce the cost on infrastructure. We decided to develop a unique 'Host Station' proposed to be engineered with full super active PIC base along with total trend regulation over a computer. The Oximetry simulation categorized with rate of beats through smart sensing bay would be the target to address which will be followed by other paradox and interactive facilities under friendly port and customized window to be plated.

Implementing extended producer responsibility into the ERP model 在ERP模型中实施扩展的生产者责任

Advancement in technology has affected every domain including communication, transportation and even fashion. Products are becoming obsolete at faster rates which account for increasing waste generation posing a major environmental concern due to the hazardous nature of the materials. It needs proper treatment prior to being disposed. According to the regulations by Ministry of Environment and Forests (MOEF), the producer, distributor and consumer have their respective roles in the proper disposal and recycling process. The available practices consist of either formal or informal methods. The former being the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) strategy, using financial incentives to encourage manufacturers to design environmentally friendly products by holding producers responsible for the costs of managing their products at end of life. EPR takes the form of a reuse, buy-back, or recycling program. The producer may also choose to delegate this responsibility to a third party, a so-called Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO), which is paid by the producer for used-product management. 81% of organizations are either in the process of implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software or have completed implementation. ERP systems track business resources and commitments using a database as an information repository. This paper incorporates the EPR strategy in the ERP system for convenience in recycling of products. This policy entails the producer responsible from the manufacturing, maintaining a database of products, collection of expired products, providing incentives and recycling.

Products are becoming obsolete at faster rates which account for increasing waste generation posing a major environmental concern due to the hazardous nature of the materials. It needs proper treatment prior to being disposed. According to the regulations by Ministry of Environment and Forests (MOEF), the producer, distributor and consumer have their respective roles in the proper disposal and recycling process. The available practices consist of either formal or informal methods. The former being the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) strategy, using financial incentives to encourage manufacturers to design environmentally friendly products by holding producers responsible for the costs of managing their products at end of life. EPR takes the form of a reuse, buy-back, or recycling program. The producer may also choose to delegate this responsibility to a third party, a so-called Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO), which is paid by the producer for used-product management. 81% of organizations are either in the process of implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software or have completed implementation. ERP systems track business resources and commitments using a database as an information repository. This paper incorporates the EPR strategy in the ERP system for convenience in recycling of products. Determination of thickness oof dielectric material by microwave power measurement using X-band testbench 用x波段试验台微波功率法测定介电材料厚度

Microwave power measurements are an established method of non-destructive testing of dielectric materials. The physical properties of uniform dielectric material can also be determined through such testing. The current work focuses on a method to determine the thickness of uniform homogeneous dielectric material through measurement of microwave power absorbed by the material using X-band microwave test bench with Gunn oscillator as the source of microwave power. Experiments using uniform homogeneous paper and rubber with standardized thicknesses have been carried out to plot the variation of microwave power absorbed by the dielectric materials with variation in thickness. The plots obtained in this manner can be used to find out the thickness of paper and rubber of similar composition and uniform thickness from the value of microwave power absorbed by them at the frequency at which the experiments have been carried out in the present work.

Temperature dependence of microstrip bandpass filter for extreme climates 极端气候下微带带通滤波器的温度依赖性

In general designers of the microstrip bandpass filter, depend on the manufacturers' specification, even though such specifications are restricted to standard environmental conditions. The electronic devices are usually designed for room temperature performance. Due to the temperature expansion, the constitutive parameters of the geometries need further modifications, because it is not only reduces the filter performances but also greatly shortens their lifetime. In this paper, the dimensional change of microstrip parallel coupled band pass filter is analyzed for the temperature variation from - 50°C to 80°C, using different dielectric substrates such as FR-4 epoxy, alumina and silicon with copper. The designed parameter values of the band pass filter are determined by MATLAB and the performance of the filter under different temperature conditions are studied with the help of Ansoft HFSS. There is a shift of frequency from its initial value and corresponding changes in upper cut off frequency, lower cut off frequency and center frequency which are shown in table form and graphically.
