A Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANET) is a collection of mobile nodes that can communicate with each other using wireless links without utilizing any fixed based station infrastructure and centralized management. In the present advanced technology there are many developments in Mobile Ad-hoc Networks (MANET) protocols. There are different Quality-of-Service (QoS) parameters analyzed the performance of MANET. Here we discuss the performance and comparison of different routing protocols such as AODV, DSDV, AOMDV and DSR over responsive flow (TCP) and unresponsive flow (UDP). To analyze the performance of routing protocols in MANET based on the basis of different simulation parameters like throughput, packet drop, end to end delay, residual energy and packet delivery ratio (PDR). The comparison has been done for increasing number of nodes having a fixed terrain area. All Simulations are done using network simulator (NS-2).

In the optimization filed, there are various proposed algorithms and Differential Evolution (DE) is one of the most effective ones. Among the latter, there is need for more effective and efficient techniques, and strategies. Although most of these algorithms have demonstrated very good performance, but they still suffer from slow convergence rate. This paper reviews the DE, all its strategies, techniques, and some important algorithms.

Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) abiding a huge quantity of inexpensive, low consumption and intense sensor nodes and sole or additional decline or base stations. Those nodes are tiny in dimension and can carry out numerous significant affairs, as well as event sensing, in order processing, and data communication. Owed to different compensation such as simplicity of consumption, comprehensive transmission range, and identity association, WSNs have been interchanging the conventional networks. The promising and innovative network of wirelessly connected devices, which consist of video, audio streams, scalar sensor data and others, is Wireless Multimedia Sensor Network (WMSN). The multimedia data depends on superiority to overhaul (Qos) parameters, like await, channel utilization, network life time throughput and distortion etc is the main aim to optimized delivery of these networks. In multimedia network each packets are communicated with each other so not on time incoming packets and lots of packets are evenly. In WMSNs challenging task to guarantee resource constrained, high data rate, and soft delay limit beside with energy reduced. In this paper, we provide Survey on comparison of different protocol of Wireless sensor network and wirelesss multimedia sensor network like Greedy Perimeter Stateless Routing for Wireless Networks (GPSR), Real-time and Energy Aware Qos routing protocol (REAR), Temporary ordered routing Algorithm (TORA) and Dynamic source routing (DSR). This different protocols with WMSN are compared in requisites of throughput, end-to-end delay, network life time.

We are all aware of the hardships faced by the not so fortunate people. With the largest population of blind people in our country, we have proposed a system that would be beneficial for the visually impaired kids which will open the doors for them to lead a life that is, if not normal, at least close to normal. We believe that learning starts at a very young age; hence we have targeted children between the ages 3 to 6 and inculcate the basic concepts of Braille in our native language Tamil, such that they flourish in the future. We have created a Haptic Interface with the help of Arduino board and made use of Laptops for Automatic speech recognition that helps them in active learning. We have also included learning in various difficulty levels such as Easy, Intermediate, and Hard which would pop up based on the reactions and the answers given by them.

In biometric authentication based vehicle door locking system, the biometric authentication plays an important role to provide high security. Now a days security is very important in order to keep our data confidentially from unauthorized persons. The main aim of this paper is to protect the car from unauthorized people by using the unique id that is finger print authentication. At the place of car door locking system, the finger print scanner is placed to lock and unlock the doors in place of the conventional door locking system. Which gives more protection to the car owner. The other indication system is also developed by using GSM module to send the message to the car owner mobile. The entire system is controlled by the Raspberry pi 3 processor.

Multilevel Inverter is introduced to reduce the switching stress and to obtain the output voltage with multiple steps to achieve the lowest total harmonic distortion (THD) and improved fundamental VRMS. This paper presents comparison of various methods used for reduction of THD and for improving VRMS. An eleven inverter is triggered by using Bipolar Multicarrier Pulse Width Modulation method, sine and Trapezoidal Amalgamated Rectangular (TAR) references with triangular carriers. There are seven various types of triangular carriers. They are, Phase Disposition, Phase Opposition Disposition, Alternate Phase Opposition Disposition, Carrier Overlapping, Phase Shift and Variable Frequency methods. The Performances measure like, THD, VRMS are evaluated for various modulation indices. Simulation is carried out by using MATLAB/SIMUINK. It is observed that sine reference based PWM method provides lower THD, TAR reference based PWM method provides higher fundamental VRMS output voltage.

This paper presentsa physical wireless Electroencephalogram (EEG) based EEG sensor system for detecting drowsiness. Drowsiness of the driver being one of the major reasons for road accidents a drowsiness detector can prevent the road accidents with ease. This EEG sensor system monitors the human cognitive state and provides a biofeedback to the driver while he is drowsy. This system detects the fluctuation in driver's performance with respect to their brain activity and modulates the EEG recording. The drawback of this system is its inability to detect the driver's eye closure, poor accuracy and it's insufficient reaction time to detect the drowsiness.

Energy demand rises worldwide, due to the growth in global population, and the fast development of transportation. Historically, gasoline and diesel have been used as vehicle fuels for a long time. But the decline of oil supply and unstable oil price drive people to find alternative energy for vehicle fuel. Alternative energy solutions may shift energy consumption to less carbon, less pollution and provide more energy diversity. The waste which was produced from the agriculture is used to generate BIOGAS which is been used as a cooking gas. Biogas is a fuel which is produced from the breakdown of organic matter. It is estimated that the domestic biomass consumption or fuel consumption is as high as 94% with very little use of modern use of energy. The biogas has many application like corrosion preventive, cleaning up oil spills, producing hydrogen for fuel cell. Fuel cell is the advanced technology being the likely prospect in time to come. Fuel cells generate electricity by an electrochemical reaction in which oxygen and a hydrogen-rich fuel to combine water. This allows fuel cell to be highly energy efficient and even higher efficiency can be gained with cogeneration. A typical fuel cell produces voltage from 0.6–0.8 V at full rated load. Fuel cell can be developed for portable electronic devices.

Tracking Object is essential step for image and video processing research area and in computer vision technology applications like object identification, traffic control, automated surveillance systems and navigation systems. Foreground image separated from background image by conventionally image processing techniques. Background subtractions utilizing Gaussian Mixture Model (GMM) is basically utilized as a part of extricating elements of moving items and takes information in frames. The outcome demonstrates that GMM performs well when obstructions are there. Multiple objects tracking have been done using two methods that is Kalman filter (KF) tracking and the Particle filter (PF) tracking. The KF evaluate present, previous, and even future condition of object. Also Kalman filter can estimate even when exact idea of the demonstrated framework is unknown. PF have been being exceptionally helpful in multiple objects tracking for non-Gaussian and nonlinear estimation problems. The algorithm applied effectively on standard video database of PETS.
