In Niger, a poor and arid country in West Africa, irrigated agriculture is undoubtedly the means with the greatest chance of ensuring food and nutrition-al security, increasing incomes and therefore reducing poverty, especially in rural areas. This research aims to analyze the profitability of irrigated agriculture at the level of the hydro-agricultural development of Konni. The methodological approach adopted is based on the method of “Rapid Participatory Diagnosis and Planning of actions to improve the performance of irrigated perimeters (DPRP)”. The documentary research made it possible to capitalize on the information available on the question. The collection of primary data in the field was carried out using questionnaires and interview guides submitted to actors directly or indirectly involved in the management of Konni’s AHA, taken individually or in focus group discussions. The data collected was processed with SPSS software to be analyzed and graphically illustrated with the Excel spreadsheet. The performance analysis made it possible to identify yields and constraints to the development of irrigated agriculture. The results show that on the Konni perimeter, there is a general trend towards a reduction in areas both in SS and in SH, with higher development rates in SH (80% to 90%), whereas they are very low in SS (8% to 25%). The main crops favored by Konni producers are onions, tomatoes, cabbage

The valorization of crop residues could constitute an energy source (biogas) allowing to reduce the energy needs of populations in agricultural regions, improve their living conditions and slow down deforestation as well as greenhouse gas emissions. This work aims to determine the typology of agricultural waste in the departments of Soubré, Sassandra, Daloa and Issia, to determine the number of residues generated in these departments, and to assess the biogas potential of these departments said residues. Field observations were made to identify the different types of waste, then, based on agricultural statistical data from the Ministry of Agriculture and biogas productivity indexes, the quantities of agricultural residues and biogas were estimated. Agricultural residues consist of pods (50%), stalks (19%), cobs (3%), Straws (8%), stalks (2%), shells (9%), fibers (7%), husks (1%), and bunches (1%). may be of interest to economic operators for recovery in biogas production units.

Trace elements are found in small concentrations in soil, yet plants require them for physiological functions. The runoff process leads to soil fertility loss by shifting soil particles and elements, and deposits them to a different position. However, there is a lack of information about the amount of trace elements that flow in tobacco-growing red soil during the natural rainy seasons due to runoff. In this study, runoff discharge was collected from two different soil mulching conditions (straw and no straw) at 15˚, in Miyi county of Sichuan province, to evaluate the characteristics of trace elements in runoff discharge. The runoff discharge was filtered to separate water (runoff) from sediment. The concentrations of the elements were analyzed in samples obtained from 9 erosive rainfall events, with 3 replications for every sample. The considered trace elements were from 54.65 to 12036.34 mg/ha, 44.74 to 5285.30 mg/ha, and 1.78 to 399.82 mg/ha for Zn, Cu, and Mo, respectively. Rainfall intensity, runoff depth, and sediment yield showed distinct positive correlations with the trace elements losses. The loss reduced with the addition of straw in the experimental area. Since each trace element showed distinct characteristics in the runoff and sediment, it is crucial to assess the loss of trace elements in runoff discharge from different agronomic practices. In turn, various sustainable practices of preventing soil fertility loss will be identified.

Computer analysis of N-(β-D-galactopyranosyl)-thiosemicarbazide compounds by in silico method revealed high probability of antibacterial (antimycobacterial), anti-tuberculosis (antituberculosic), antiviral (Influenza), antitumor (antineoplastic) 9 > Pa > 0.5 and with a low probability of cytotoxic/cytostatic (cytostatic/cytotoxic) activities. An experimental study by in vitro and in vivo methods allowed us to conclude that studied new synthetic compound N-(β-D-galactopyranosyl)-thiosemicarbazide in the studied concentrations has a pronounced bactericidal and bacteriostatic effects.
