A biometric approach to aesthetic crown lengthening: part II--interdental considerations. 美学冠延长的生物识别方法:第二部分-牙间考虑。

Optimizing the aesthetic outcome for patients requiring periodontal aesthetic restorative treatment has become a primary objective in contemporary dentistry. Techniques that simplify and enhance quality of treatment provide substantial benefits to patients and clinicians. This article describes new concepts associated with interdental changes due to alterations in tooth and contact area position, and addresses the need for treatment of the interdental papillae. An innovative approach to aesthetic interdental periodontal crown lengthening will be discussed.

Guided bone regeneration using an allograft material: review and case presentations. 利用同种异体材料引导骨再生:回顾和病例报告。

Post extraction sites may have residual ridge deformities with insufficient bone present for future implant placement. This presents a challenge to the clinician attempting to obtain optimum results. To predictably augment these areas and obtain aesthetically pleasing results, bone grafting may be required. Guided bone regeneration with an allograft material is a predictable means by which to solve this challenge. This article describes three case presentations utilizing on allograft material for bone regeneration prior to implant placement.

Resin pins: a novel composite resin concept for treatment of posterior teeth--technical presentation. 树脂钉:一种用于治疗后牙的新型复合树脂概念-技术介绍。

With the evolution of bonding systems, various techniques have been proposed to reduce polymerization shrinkage and postoperative sensitivity in posterior direct resin restorations. It has been noted that the result could be improved using various layers, due to the contractions that occur proportionally to the quantity of material and the intensity of the curing light during polymerization. This article reviews the use of small, prepolymerized composite resin pearls or inserts compressed against the surface of the tooth wall to reduce the volume to be polymerized. The use of resin pins enables superior bonding to the dental structure, incrementing the marginal adaptation and reducing postoperative sensitivity.
