This article analyses the new and problematic relationship between the media and individuals' visibility, as well as privacy in the new context of the Internet, by focusing on the process of transformation of both the public and private dimensions. A new style of Self-presentation/representation emerges in the digital communication ecosystem, which presents numerous risks due to online overexposure, to the logic of the show, typical of infotainment, and to the process of social windowing. In the society of platforms and fake news, it is necessary to redefine the social role of journalism and its limits, above all when connected to some sensitive issues of individuals' private sphere. At the same time, in relation to law and rights it seems essential to both develop useful tools and rules in order to defend individuals' Self-representation in the media and ensure everyone's right to be forgotten in contemporary planetary discursive spaces.

A very respectable theory (K.R. Popper) argues that civilization tends to limit the use of violence and opposes a state of chaos, madness, barbarism and war. It is a philosophical theory that in its empirical validity can find a minimum (not exclusive) support from a triad of arguments. In fact, by limiting the concept of civilization to that field that we can call "law and legal justice", we can have, in this case, three arguments, to argue that law actually tends to limit the use of violence, without being based exclusively on the force (and violence) of the sanction:(i) A philosophical-juridical argument, the theory of “international regimes; (ii) A sociological one, the theory of companies such as "Small World Networks" and (iii) A mathematical one, the theory of deterministic chaos applied to the phenomenon of sanction (also definable as coercive force, deterrence or even "just war").

This paper deals with young people who committed an offence when they were minors, in the framework of child exploitation or as a result of it. The focus is on art. 18, para. 6, of the Ital-ian Legislative Decree 286/1998, and the current obstacles to its implementation. The specific question addressed by this article is how and by whom trafficked minors, who are exploited in criminal activities, are identified and protected. To do so, the authors will build on the socio-anthropological literature on labelling processes. The empirical material draws from the quali-tative research carried out in Italy within the framework of the INSigHT Action. The discus-sion can be contextualized within the broader topic of the non-punishment principle that has not been transposed into the Italian legislation yet, with the aim to contribute to the ongoing debate on non-punishment and on the protection of unaccompanied minors victims of traffick-ing more generally.
