The paper explains why a new approach, both broader and more rigorous than that traditionally followed in ATM, is needed for the safety assessment of the major operational and technology changes such as those planned for introduction into European ATM over the period up to 2020 and beyond, under the SESAR Programme. It presents the theoretical basis for what is an argument-driven "systems-engineering approach". A related paper describes how that approach is being trialled on the preparatory work for the safety assessment of the SESAR Operational Concept. (6 pages)

Design and development of feedback control hydraulic airbrake actuators for a high performance aircraft 某型高性能飞机反馈控制液压气闸执行器的设计与研制

Abstract Abstract A feedback loop for a pair of Hydraulic Airbrake Actuators of an aircraft, controlled by Flight Control Computer (FCC) is designed and developed. The work involved is to analyze and design a control algorithm to achieve synchronized motion between two actuators. The FCC correlates the operational parameters to the position requested by the pilot and monitors the system during normal operation and under failure conditions. The desired motion is achieved through a closed loop feedback control system that senses the actual position of the actuators and corrects them until the desired position is reached. The control algorithm is tested against various test cases. Tests on Hydraulic air break actuators, driven by solenoid operated electro-selector valves and controlled by FCC, proved highly accurate in position regulation as compared to a conventional open loop control system.

Generalized Distributed Multi-antenna Architecture Based Location Technology for Beyond 3G Systems 基于广义分布式多天线结构的超3G系统定位技术

In order to research mobile terminal location technology for the next generation mobile communications, this paper sums up existing location technology of current mobile communications system, and then introduces generalized distributed antenna network architecture for beyond 3G system. On this basis, this paper presents a novel mobile terminal location technology. This method is based on the multi-antenna architecture, which calculates the distance between each antenna and mobile terminal by link gain, then locates the position of mobile terminal, or its probability in this region. The simulation result and error analysis confirm that this method can provide a location technology with higher precision than other location technologies in current mobile communication system.
