To demonstrate the influence of Eucalyptus litter extract on the germination and seedling growth of Zenia insignis for a providing theoretical basis for Eucalyptus plantation reconstruction and optimization of forest stand structure, an indoor artificial simulation experiment was conducted us-ing five different concentration gradients of Eucalyptus litter extracts for petri dish germination and potted experiments. The results showed that: 1) Eucalyptus litter extract had a concentration effect of “low promotion and high inhibition” on the allelopathy of seed germination and seedling growth of Z . insignis . In the mass concentration range of 0 g/mL~0.05 g/mL, it had a certain promoting effect on the seed germination and seedling growth of Z . insignis ; When the concentration exceeds 0.10 g/mL, it has a significant inhibitory effect on the germination and seedling growth of Z . insignis seeds. 2) According to the calculation results of the comprehensive allelopathy index, the allelopathy of Eucalyptus litter extract on the seed germination of Z . insignis is greater than its allelopathy on the seedling growth of Z . insignis . Due to the relatively small impact of liquefied substances extracted from Eucalyptus litter on seed germination and seedling growth of Z . insignis , it is theoretically feasible to use Z . insignis as a mixed tree species in Eucalyptus plantations for stand transformation.

Nine species of Ilex plants with similar maturity stages were selected for the study, and their fruits were used as materials to determine 10 indicators, including color, flavonoid content, and physical properties of the fruits. Correlation analysis was conducted on indicators such as color and flavonoid content. The results showed that the holly species had the highest flavonoid content.

Okra ( Abelmoschus esculentus L.) is a special vegetable. With the exploration and utilization of its various nutritional values and benefits, okra is becoming increasingly popular among people. Okra was cultivated relatively late in China and its cultivation techniques are not mature. By combining the local production practices, this article summarizes a set of high-quality and high-yield cultivation technology systems for okra from six aspects: land selection and preparation, fertilization, variety selection, sowing and seedling cultivation, field management and harvesting in order

The low experimental cost of high-throughput sequencing technology for yielding sequence data of complete chloroplast genomes has made it possible to challenge the accurate identification of Larix plants. In this study, five hundred and twenty-seven single nucleotide polymorphic characters from the complete chloroplast genomes were used for the first time as molecular traits to identify Larix plants and compile a molecular classification key. There are differences in aspects of single nucleotide polymorphic characters between species and varieties. Among the eight species/varieties, L. himalaica W. C. Cheng & L. K. Fu, L. sibirica Ledeb . and L. deciduas Mill . has larger number of diverged single nucleotide characters. Genetic variation levels among the four genotypes as named L. gmelinii (Rupr.) Kuzen. var. gmelinii , L. gmelinii var. olgensis (A. Henry) Ostenf. & Syrach, L. gmelinii var. japonica (Maxim. ex Regel) Pilg. and L. cajanderi Mayr are comparatively low. Our results indicated that single nucleotide polymorphic characters from the chloroplast genomes could be used for discrimination of different genotypes in Larix . This study is valuable for identification, conservation and utilization of plant germplasm resources of Larix .

In order to select excellent green tree species, street trees commonly found in the Yizhou urban area were selected as the research objects. The particle size, leaf surface microstructure and their correlation with dust retention per unit leaf area were compared and analyzed by laser particle size analyzer, scanning electron microscope and related processing software. The results showed that: 1) the particle size of retained atmospheric particles on the leaf surface of the street tree species in this study was mostly between 0.2 μm and 6.0 μm. The particle size of retained atmospheric particles on the leaf surface of the B. javanica leaf was mainly about 1 μm, and the particle sizes of the other 7 street tree leaves were mainly 0.2 μm ~1 μm and 3 μm ~5 μm. 2) The dust retention per unit area of the leaf surface of different street tree species was significantly different, among which, F. concinna was the largest (average value was 0.6895 g/m 2 ), while C. japonicum was the smallest (average value was 0.1245 g/m 2 ). The order of particle retention per unit area of the leaf surface of different street tree species was as follows: F. concinna > B. blakeana > F. altissima > M. indica > B. javanica > O. fragrans > M. alba > C. japonicum ; 3) the microscopic structure of the leaf surface was significantly correlated with the dust retention amount, among which, the area of stomata guard cells and stomatal width were positively correlated with the dust retention amount per unit leaf area, and the density and length of stomata were negatively or positively correlated with the dust retention amount per unit leaf area. From the comprehensive comparative analysis of the dust retention effect of eight species of street trees in Yizhou, it can be seen that Ficus con-cinna has the strongest dust retention ability, and can be used as the preferred tree for street trees in local busy traffic areas.
