Background: Primary breast lymphoma is a malignant lymphoma primarily involving breast in absence of previously detected lymphoma localizations. Method: A male of forty years old admitted to Department of Surgery; Wad Madani Teaching Hospital; Gezira State; Sudan; complaining of left breast lump for three months. Condition observed as a painful swelling in left breast, increasing gradually in size, associated with continuous high-grade fever, no rigors and relieved by analgesia, no nipple discharges. Had significant weight loss, anorexia, fatigability, back pain, dry cough with no hemoptysis, no history of headache, and no past or family history of similar condition. Examination: patient looks ill, pale, and not jaundiced. Breast examination: Left breast was larger than right one. Left breast: no nipple destruction, nipple was directed downward medially, no skin changes or dimpling, and no ulceration. There was a mass in left upper outer quadrant, measuring 6*7 cm, smooth surface, hard in consistency with well-defined edges, and attached to muscles but not to skin. No palpable axillary lymph nodes. Right breast was normal. Chest and abdominal examination were unremarkable. Investigations: Fine needle aspiration cytology showed poorly differentiated carcinoma. Incisional biopsy revealed: high grade Non-Hodgkins Lymphomas (Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma). He was referred to oncological department for neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy. Conclusion and Recommendation: Primarily breast lymphoma is extremely rare among male, showing features mimicking breast carcinoma. Incisional biopsy was recommended for investigation of breast lump especially among males.

Radiation therapy (radiotherapy) is one of the important methods for comprehensive treatment of breast cancer. Radiotherapy after breast conserving surgery for early breast cancer can not only achieve local control rate and long-term survival rate similar to total mastectomy, but also meet patients' pursuit of higher quality of life. With the development of intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT), volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT), helical tomotherapy (HT), and other advanced radiotherapy technique, the consistency of patient position fixation during radiotherapy is the key to ensure the implementation of accurate radiotherapy. Due to the special and high activity of breast organs, there is no unified fixation method for breast conserving postoperative radiotherapy. This article reviews the clinical application and research progress of various accessible supine fixation techniques in early breast cancer postoperative radiotherapy in recent years. This paper analyzes the clinical application method and clinical application effect of various techniques, compares the advantages and disadvantages of each technology. It is found that breast bracket is the most widely used for classical breast cancer radiotherapy. In any fixation technique, it is still a practical problem for the clinic to solve the problem of the normal location of the breast activity and the consistency of the radiation. It is recommended that the position of the supposition fixation technique should be selected according to the patient's BMI, breast size and target area.

: Objective: To analyze the related factors of venous thromboembolism in patients with ovarian cancer. Methods: A total of 86 patients with ovarian cancer complicated with VTE who were treated in a hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected. The medical records of the patients were collected. The revised Caprini risk assessment scale (version 2013) was used to evaluate the risk level of VTE in patients with ovarian cancer, and the risk factors of VTE in patients with ovarian cancer were analyzed. Results: According to the revised Caprini risk assessment scale, 86 patients were scored, including 23 cases (26.74%) of high risk and 62 cases (72.09%) of extremely high risk. Among 86 patients, 77 cases (89.53%) were epithelial cancer, 75 cases (87.21%) were poorly differentiated cancer, 71 cases (82.56%) were International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) stage III-IV, and 28 cases (32.56%) were complicated with ascites. Thrombosis occurred before neoadjuvant chemotherapy in 9 cases (10.47%), during neoadjuvant chemotherapy in 5 cases (5.81%), before surgery in 21 cases (24.42%), during surgery in 1 case (jugular vein thrombosis), and after surgery in 50 cases (58.14%). VTE occurred in 26 patients (30.26%) with central venous catheter implantation and 22 patients (25.58%) with lymph node metastasis. Conclusions: According to the modified Caprini risk assessment scale, high risk and very high risk ovarian cancer patients are at high risk of VTE. The modified Caprini risk assessment scale is helpful for clinical early identification of patients with high risk of VTE. Tumor histological type, tumor grade, tumor staging and surgical treatment are related to the occurrence of VTE in patients with ovarian cancer.
