Objective: To compare the effectiveness of ear acupuncture with laser and needles in the treatment of anxiety in university students in the post-pandemic context of Covid-19, as well as to evaluate the possible symptoms or adverse reactions triggered by the interventions.
Method: Randomized clinical trial carried out with 126 university students, allocated to the "Needle" (control) and "Laser" (experimental) groups. Five ear acupuncture sessions were performed. Assessments were performed before, after the end of treatment and seven days later (follow up), through the State Anxiety Inventory and the measurement of heart and respiratory rates. The Generalized Estimating Equations were used.
Results: There was a reduction in anxiety levels in both groups, between the initial and final assessments, and initial and follow up. There was no difference between the groups in the final and follow up. Heart rate decreased in the Needle group between the final and follow up, and initial and follow up assessments; the Laser group remained constant over time and the groups did not differ from each other between the end and follow up. There was no change over time in respiratory rate in either group and they did not differ from each other in the final and follow up assessments. There was a higher occurrence of adverse reactions in the group that received the intervention with needles, despite the mild intensity.
Conclusion: Both interventions were effective in reducing anxiety levels in university students. Brazilian Clinical Trials Registry RBR-8cxnvr2.

Objective: To develop a nursing intervention model for adolescents and parents experiencing parental cancer.
Method: Multimethod research, which integrated five studies: a scoping review and four qualitative studies. Considering the results of these studies, a nursing intervention model was constructed based on two theoretical frameworks, such as the A Model of Children's Adjustment to Parental Cancer, for adolescents, and Neuman Systems Model, for parents, and on a semantic framework, such as Nursing Ontology.
Results: The model is aimed at three target audiences: individual - parental figure with cancer; individual - adolescent; and family - parental figure with cancer, second parental figure and adolescent. The model is based on health literacy and includes four topics that address central topics in the experience of parental cancer: "The elephant in the room"; "Everything changes in us"; "Life goes on"; and "With the present, we plan the future".
Conclusion: The proposed model is assumed as a health promotion strategy that empowers nurses for a family-centered intervention, in order to minimize the impact of parental cancer.
目的:建立父母患癌青少年的护理干预模式。方法:多方法研究,包括五项研究:一项范围综述和四项定性研究。结合以上研究结果,基于儿童对父母癌症的适应模型(a model of Children’s Adjustment to parent Cancer)和父母的Neuman Systems模型(a model)两个理论框架,以及护理本体(nursing Ontology)这一语义框架,构建了护理干预模型。

Objective: The present study examines the relationship between social media addiction and cyberbullying among adolescents.
Method: This descriptive study was conducted with the participation of 1,058 adolescents aged 14 to 17, between September 1, 2018, and January 1, 2019, in the Central Anatolian region of Türkiye. Data were collected using the Adolescent Data Collection Form, the Revised Cyber Bullying Inventory II, and the Social Media Disorder Scale for Adolescents - Short Form. Data were evaluated with a Pearson's Chi-square Test, Spearman's Correlation, and Logistic Regression analysis.
Results: Of the adolescents in the study group, 23.3% were addicted to social media. Female sex and spending more time on social media increased the risk of the development of a social media addiction. Spending more time on social media increased the risk of becoming a victim of cyberbullying and cyber victimization. A strong and positive relationship was identified between social media addiction among adolescents on the one hand, and cyberbullying and victimization on the other.
Conclusion: The more time spent on social media, the greater the risk of development of social media addiction, cyberbullying, and victimization.

Objective: To explore the effect of the 9S management theory plus hierarchical management model on the management of intensive care unit (ICU).
Method: Ninety patients hospitalized in ICU from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected and divided into a control group (n = 45) and a study group (n = 45) according to different ward management methods. The management lasted for one month. The ward management quality score, nursing quality score, level of comfort, severity of disease, and incidence of adverse events were compared between the two groups.
Results: The study group had higher ward management quality scores of all items than those of the control group after management (P < 0.05). In the study group, the nursing quality scores of all items and General Comfort Questionnaire cores were higher, while the acute physiology and chronic health evaluation II scores were lower than those in the control group after management (P < 0.05). The incidence rate of adverse reactions during management in the study group was not significantly different from that of the control group (P > 0.05).
Conclusion: Both the 9S management theory and hierarchical management model can effectively improve the ward management quality and nursing quality in ICU management.

Objective: To map scientific evidence on educational technologies developed for family members and children with type 1 diabetes.
Method: Scoping review, according to JBI recommendations, and described in accordance with the checklist PRISMA-ScR. Searches were carried out in the LILACS, BDENF, PUBMED, COCHRANE, CINAHL, EBSCO, Scopus and Embase/Elsevier, Web of Science/Clarivate Analytics, Scielo, VHL Regional Portal and gray literature databases.
Results: Fifty-three studies published between 1980 and 2023 were included. The evidence was categorized into digital educational technologies, which provide innovative resources to educate and support children and families, and non-digital educational technologies, which provide practical and interactive opportunities for learning about diabetes.
Conclusion: The results highlight the relevance of educational technologies in the care of children with type 1 diabetes. However, they reveal a gap in the assessment of the effectiveness of these interventions in the long term, with regard to adherence to treatment and improvement in quality of life. Research is required to evaluate the effectiveness of these technologies and the impact of educational interventions.

Objective: To analyze the factors associated with the hygienic-sanitary quality of donated human milk in terms of the donor profile and pumping site.
Method: Cross-sectional study with retrospective data collection of records of human milk samples donated to a Human Milk Bank in São Paulo, Brazil, from 2014 to 2019. Characteristics of human milk donors, pumping site, and hygienic-sanitary quality were analyzed based on the Standards of the Brazilian Human Milk Bank Network.
Results: In the hygienic-sanitary assessment, a greater presence of contamination, high acidity, and microbiological alteration were found when human milk was pumped at home and when it was donated mature. The human milk from non-exclusive donors, especially those > 30 years old, presented greater microbiological contamination and higher acidity when compared to that from exclusive donors (p < 0.05).
Conclusion: Hygienic-sanitary quality impairment of donated human milk occurred when the collection was performed at home, especially among non-exclusive donors. Effective guidance and indirect supervision of donors who perform home pumping can contribute to better use of donated human milk.
